I've had 77 of them. No mention of abalone?! It was one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten!
Ipswich clams are excellent, too. And I'd have to put stewed buffalo with sourdough bread on the list (even if it bumping something else).

I got 39 most of that stuff isn't sold here or I don't know if I tried it. I have had collard greens but I don't remember if I had it with vinegar, not fond of collard greens so maybe not.

80, give or take. I counted a couple I couldn't be 100% certain of (like frito pie - I've had fritos with taco type stuff but was it technically a "frito pie"??) And I've never had a fried peanut butter and banana sammich, but that picture kinda made me want one! Lazy gluttony at its "finest."

I've done 84. DH and I are considered adventurous eaters (ate at an amazing Bosnian cafe yesterday-fried fresh anchovies anyone?) but haven't found anyone around here offering geoduck. We don't do the fried peanut butter and banana sandwiches but love open face peanut butter and banana sandwiches on whole grain bread with a drizzle of honey for breakfast. As for the collard green thing, I grew up with a mix of collard, turnip and mustard greens stewed long and slow with bacon and onions, served with cornbread and pepper sauce. Still do it here and the leftover cornbread ends up on the table for breakfast, either in a bowl with sweet or buttermilk, or on a plate with butter and cane syrup.
Anyone had dewberries? And scratched the chigger bites from crawling through the woods picking them? One of my very best memories is riding bareback through the pasture, hopping off to pick and eat dewberries and then riding back through the pond to rinse off the dewberry juice we wiped off on their manes and withers and cool off. And hanging onto a wet mane for dear life when the horse spotted a big water snake and left the pond a lot faster than they went in.

Only 61. Not bad considering I don't eat fish/shrimp/oysters/smelly underwater things.
I want to eat chicken & waffles. Never had them. (together)
Some things I'm not interested in ever eating like turducken. F that. That's not food, that's an experiment gone bad.
Interesting there was no tofu or soy products at all in the poll.
I've had a lot weirder food not on this poll - I guess it is North American-centric?

Not that these are weird just not fried chicken and meat loaf which I couldn't eat back in the day when I ate red meat

Muscadine Grapes - I thought that it was interesting that they were on the list. You don't really eat them, you make wine & jelly out of them. They have a strong acid taste & really aren't that great for eating. (As a kid I used to pick them with the family to make jelly).
Frito pie is more of chili with fritos in it. When I was a kid I loved it. Now that I'm old I could eat a large bowl of it & I would have a long lingering death ahead of me. (A 1 pound bowl of Frito pie has 2 pounds of grease in it, trust me on this).

I scored an 86.
There are a few I wasn't completely sure what they were so maybe if I had it would have been a few higher. One of the things I didn't try was the kanish with mustard. I have had plenty of kanishes and I have had mustard and hate it. I am pretty sure I will never put a food I hate, on top of a food I love.

74 if Hoppin' John means black eyed peas. I've had fresh blueberries but they were from Publix or at a restaurant so it that counts my score is 75. I'm not sure what some of that stuff shown was to even know if I had it or not. Hoppin John is blackeyed peas with bacon and onions. Much better than plain black eyed peays, but I guess you can count that

I got 75 (or so).
Some of them I have had something similar so I count it. Like Fluffenutter sandwich on Wonder Bread. I used to eat peanut butter and marshmallow fluff sandwiches on white bread. So I am counting that one.

I counted it too, georgiagal. We couldn't afford name-brand bread when I was growing up.

I got 65. It helps that I was a meat eater early in life and that I still eat seafood. I want to eat a lot of food now.

Looks like I've tried 75 (72 if they needed to be named as they are on the quiz) maybe more - (I wish there were 'links' to what some of the foods are - had to google to see if 'sourwood honey' was a Name Brand or a variety... it's a variety.) cause I think I've had the foods they just weren't named the same. I had an actual name brand "moon pie" once and it was pretty nasty. I've had plenty of 'moon pie' style treats that were yummy! I had the muscadine? grapes when I had the 'fruit box' offered thru my local CSA (farm box). There were some might yummy fruit varieties I had never had before.

That fried peanut butter and banana sammich needs some bacon... talk about addictive the sweet/salty/bacony goodness. The nutterflutter sandwich is over rated... but then I'm comparing it to a bacon, PB, naner sandwich...

It looks like it falls into the "wet meat" category - and we all know how much I hate my meat wet. {{go ahead and snicker - you filthy girls}}

Some family was visiting me in Chicago from Texas last week and I thought it would be fun to have frito pies on the 4th with our cookout. Yeah NO it's one of those things you love as a child but is totally lost on you as an adult. plus fritos just makes me think of doggie paws.

My score was 78. It helps that I move around a lot and do not have any known food allergies.
I want to try things on the list, but not the dick mussel. I seriously do not think I could eat it.
The spam musubi is the only way I will eat spam. It is sold all over Hawaii.

I googled it, and the official recipe is a bag of fritos, 2 cans of chili, and a bunch of cheese.
I love all three of those things - but that doesn't sound good. I like my fritos crunchy.

Geo duck is really good. I live in the PNW and people go to the beach for it like you would go clamming. They also sell it at some Asian restaurants.
