[/img] You'll spend 9.99, minus any coupons you have, and get 2 $5 Ups back. They do only allow 1 coupon on a BOGO now, but still a good deal.
Is this right? Mine was Buy $20 get $5, not get $5 for each. Also--no peelies. I didn't buy any, but boy it was nice lotion! Not greasy at all and very subtle scent.
Yes, it's right. I bought 2 and got both $5 Ups. The $5 Up is a monthly deal, limit 4.
Ok, thanks! I'll try it again. Oh yeah, and you said you were going to roll it into a Listerine deal next week. What is that deal? TIA.

Charmin 12 pk $3.99 at Jons. Limit 2 but there's no store card so you could go back for more. I'll have to see what the sq. ft. is.
3/3 PG a whopping 20 cents off. I don't feel bad about not getting that Q.

Did anyone else get this email from Staples? www.staplesrewardscenter.com/SORC/UserManagement/Login/Login.aspxI feel like I'm missing some fine print here I was planning on using the $3/2 whoppers/hershey eggs CRT from this week for some MM candy next week. I think I'll also toss in a bottle of biotrue/renu to make it to $30. The contact solution isn't the best deal, but it should at least net me a coupon for a free bottle next time

I think that was me with the listerine deal, FreeSalsa. It's actually week of 3/24 and not next week. The deal is buy $10 worth of reach/listerine/rembrandt get back $5 UPs. The 1 liter bottles of regular listerine are 5.69, or 5.12 with my silver discount. Since the listerine is not free, I'm going to combine with the schick/skintimate/edge deal, which is MM.
Here's the transaction (all prices with silver discount):
2 x listerine 10.24 schick hydro razor 10.79 skintimate shave gel 3.14 -$2 skintimate in-ad Q -$1.50 skintimate peelie coupon -$4 schick hydro in-ad coupon -$4 schick hydro MC -2 x $1/1 listerine =10.67, minus $10 UPs from banana boat leaves OOP .67, get back $5 UPs from listerine
Rinse and repeat, get back $5 more UPs from listerine (deal is limit 2) and $10 UPs from schick for buying $25+
The edge shave gel is also included at the same price and there are $1/1 MCs available. Schick hydro shave gel is included as well, with regular price 3.99. If I can wrangle enough shave gel coupons I might try to do the shick deal again with just shave gel, since it's limit 4. The problem is the one-per-customer wording on the in-ad coupon...I'd have to make multiple trips.

My brother is always on the lookout for sunblock and lotion with SPF so I told him about the Banana Boat deal. He bought the wrong one so he basically got 2/$7, which he was still pretty happy about. He usually pays $8 for one. I bought mine with an old GC from an RX transfer several years ago so no OOP.

The corned beef is in the crock pot, getting ready for tonight's party. I bought three more--one for us and two for the freezer. DH loves corned beef and I'm a big fan too. I might still hit up Vons/Safeway for two more if they have any left.
Took my car in today to get the brakes checked. While I waited I walked half a mile to the Ralphs/Kroger and Rite Aid.
At Ralphs I got the corned beef using DH's card (limit 2 per card) and New York steak, bone-in $4.99/lb. I don't know if that's a great price but it's the lowest it goes and DH loves them.
I bought 4 Lara bars $1 ea. and used two $.75/2 SB IP so 63c ea and I'll get 20 Swagbucks for using the Qs. The Q is for the Lara Uber but it worked on the regular ones too.
They were giving out CATS for a free Simple Truth protein bar. The checker gave me another one since I expressed interest in them. Most people were just leaving them behind, especially at the self check out so she's been picking them up an giving them to others. The store is trying to get people to try them. I saw that Ralphs had this new organic/natural line so I was curious but this is not a simple, naturual, or organic bar at all. It must have had 50 ingredients. The Lara bars are much better. Even though they are not organic they have so few ingredients. The new Lara Uber bars have about 7 ingredients (mostly fruit and nuts) but the traditional bars have 2 or 3 at most.
Then I walked back to my car, steaks and fruit bars in hand, and headed to Jons for the TP. I like getting exercise and getting several errands done at once.

A big THANKS to whoever posted both the gillette shaving cream and the bounty dryer sheets deals at Target. I only got 1 set of the Target coupons but walked out today with 3 free bottles of shaving cream and 3 boxes of dryer sheets for $1. Now if I could only stop buying clothes there ... I'd be set Actually I replaced 4 white tanks today. I wear them basically everyday under my work clothes (self conscious about showing cleavage!) and the ones I have now I've probably owned for at least 4 years. They are getting too stretched out and definitely aren't super white anymore. The ones I bought today were $5 each, so I figured for wearing them each weekly x 4 years that I got out of my other ones = pretty worth the $20 investment.

Free Salsa I think this is the first year in 10+ I am NOT having corn beef. Because I am a single I don't want to cook on-too much meat. They are, at best $2/lb here per our ads. Most years I just get 1/3-1/2 lb at the deli BUT NOTHING is reasonably ($3-4/lb) priced there. I'll eat half the $5 (less a $1 coupon) ribs I got at Dominicks (Safeway/$5 Friday special).

Glad the deal worked for you! I also hope you used the $5/$20 Target q on your t-shirts. If not, just be aware that Target has their own coupons on their website. There are 2 different $5/$20 q's: one for Merona and another for Mossimo. I bought DD2 a really cute summer dress for $21.99. Minus the $5 q it was $16.99. Used my red card and got another 5% off that. Then I went to Ross and bought her a cute bolero-type sweater to go over it when cold. That was $10.99 minus my senior discount of 10%.

Adventures in free candy at CVS this morning. Here was my attempted transaction: 8 x whopper eggs: 16.00 2 x hershey eggs: 6.00 renu solution: 8.99 paas kit: 1.99 pint milk: 1.09 -$5/30 -5 x $3/2 eggs candy CRT -3 x $2/3 eggs candy MC -$2/1 renu IP -$6 EB = .07 OOP, get back $5 EB whoppers, $1 EB hersheys, $1 EB renu, $1.99 EB paas It was working fine until the cashier tries to scan the candy coupons. The CRTs and the MCs will not scan. So she goes to check and see if they're on sale(?) and then calls a manager. The manager was trying to explain that the CRTs will not work with a $5/30, so I guess that answers that. But the MCs wouldn't scan either, so maybe there was a problem with the barcode on the whoppers. The manager put all the coupons through manually, so it worked out in the end but it took forever. People in line behind me were pissed

While I'm not shopping at CVS, I'm trying to keep up on the latest and greatest changes.

The manager seemed to think this was the reason that they were not scanning, BUT she was happy to push them through. I didn't even have to ask or anything. I'm guessing the coding has changed to not allow it, but still YMMV with cashiers/managers.
It's so rare that I get a $/$$, I'm not too concerned for now.

Murpath -- I did not! I have been having trouble with my computer at work, which is where I print all of my coupons. This past week I did get a new computer, but I was out on vacation for a few days so ... so printed coupons for me in awhile! Thanks for the heads up, though. I used to print Target coupons all the time, so I'll check in and see what they've got going on. Last year I bought the dress I wore to my bridal shower for $14.99 there with a coupon and got so many compliments on it! I can wear it to work too once the weather gets warmer so that was a good buy

I didn't get the email but the cashier told me about it the last time I went in and dropped off my empties to be recycled. From what he said and the district mgr was there and also answered my questions it "should" work like this, You buy $30 worth of ink on 3/31/2013. From that date forward until 9/30/2013 you can recycle your 10 carts a month of empties and get the $2 each as rewards. There seems to be no back dates allowed. So I bought ink in January that don't count as of 3/15. So If I dropped off any now they would take them but I wouldn't get the $2 each in rewards. The only way to get the $2 each in rewards is to buy $30 in ink, with my rewards card, in the 180 days prior to turning in my empty ink carts. Only time will tell how this actually plays out in the real world. sorry if it is long winded but I HTH!

I went to CVS yesterday, too for the candy deal. I had 3 CRT's and 2 MC's. Even when I was not using a $/$$ CRT, all the q's beeped! My cashier had to enter them manually, as well.

I had $2 ECBs expiring today, so I stopped in on my way home. I picked up 1 bottle of Suave keratin shampoo, 1 bottle of Suave keratin conditioner, and 1 bottle of Suave lotion.
I used a BOGO Suave keratin shampoo/conditioner coupon that auto deducted $5 I used a Buy 2 Suave professionals, get a free lotion that auto deducted $3 Then I used my $2 ECBs and had to throw a snickers bar in there to soak up the overage.
I paid .50 for all 4 items. I'm pretty happy with that !

I dumped most of my empties when they were offering $6 ea. if you bought $50 worth of ink (max of 5 for a $30 reward). I'm glad I did it then. I feel as though I got maximum value for them. We don't go through ink that fast anymore as I am not printing that many coupons, so I doubt I'll have to buy ink for quite a while.

Shrinkage! b Did I tell you all this one already? When we were little my mom used to limit us to "4 squares" of TP. She noticed how fast the rolls were being emptied and thought we were using too much. Turns out they were making the rolls smaller and smaller. Then suddenly they came out with the double roll, which was the size of the original roll a few years before. I think she thought we were just yanking and unspooling the whole thing--wheeeeeeee!!!! We joke a lot about the 4 square limit now.

There are probably lots of people who are recycling empties there that never shop there for anything let alone ink. I don't think $30 twice a year is really that much. All we need is to do two of the double or triple ink rewards deals a year and we get our rewards. I know it isn't as good as before but I do think we can work with this.

I didn't go yet but I was planning on getting the copy paper and pastel paper. I'm not sure yet if I will do the photo paper yet. I use the pastel paper but the photo paper not so much. I also was going to do the batteries but in a seperate trans. I like having lots of free batteries around. This is a little silly but a couple of weeks ago I bought staples, at Staples, for the first time ever. I thought it was funny. I know I'm easily amused.

I think I'm missing something. Are you saying that you won't get $2 rewards for recycling toner unless you buy ink? That would stink!!! That is exactly what it is. Truthfully I do understand their point. There are probably lots of people who are recycling empties there that never shop there for anything let alone ink. I don't think $30 twice a year is really that much. All we need is to do two of the double or triple ink rewards deals a year and we get our rewards. I know it isn't as good as before but I do think we can work with this. Sigh. I was one of those who only went for the free stuff. Stinks. They're so on to us. We just bought a laser printer so we wouldn't have to buy much toner. I guess I can recycle them anyway for no $, or I can hold on to them and take them in when we buy a toner in year or whenever. I have so few cartridges now anyway due to changes at work, but what I do have is 5 really big ones that are taking up space in my trunk. Sigh.

FreeSalsa, do you have OfficeMax? I don't really shop there, but they have basically the same program and as far as I can tell they don't have purchase requirements on recycling rewards. I forgot that you have to have at least $10 in rewards to be able to redeem them, so I'll need to get something else by the end of the month. I will probably go for the free paper this week, so thanks to whoever mentioned it

375 sq. ft. for 24 rolls is the equivalent of only 15.63 sq. ft. per regular roll!! I call that real shrinkage factor!! Ha! Shrinkage! b Did I tell you all this one already? When we were little my mom used to limit us to "4 squares" of TP. She noticed how fast the rolls were being emptied and thought we were using too much. Turns out they were making the rolls smaller and smaller. Then suddenly they came out with the double roll, which was the size of the original roll a few years before. I think she thought we were just yanking and unspooling the whole thing--wheeeeeeee!!!! We joke a lot about the 4 square limit now. If you had told us that one before, I don't remember it. I do remember that in the old days, rolls of TP lasted a lot longer than they do now. As a matter of fact, TP was something that I don't remember my mom ever stockpiling - probably because it was always relatively inexpensive. I still see people on coupon forums posting price per roll and it is totally meaningless. The brand that I have the least of in my stockpile is Charmin. I was recently playing "tetris" with my TP stockpile and had a HUMONGOUS package of Charmin that was not fitting well because it was so big. The package claims that it is equal to 48 regular rolls. I looked at the square footage and it was only 569.3 sq. ft. OR the equivalent of less than 11.9 sq. ft. per roll!! That will be the next package that we use. P&G has mastered packaging TP to look like you're getting a lot when you're not.
