I'm looking for (2) of the $3/1 bic disposable razor from 3/17 SS. There is a MM deal at RA next week, so hold on to them if you can use them.
What is the MM deal for Bic razor? TIA.

You got me beat on the rebates but in 2011, Rite Aid paid me over $150.00 to take home over $4300.00 in merchandise. I was getting SCRs almost every month, more than what I spent OOP. I have my receipts from Staples from the rebates I did not receive so I am going to see if there's anything they can do about it. Their website shows the last check I received was in February of last year. Hey, that's nothing to sneeze at!! It's too bad that they did away with the SCR.

went out at 8 am to hit WAG & CVS for the deal at each I wanted. Got both and was home in plenty of time to see the political discussion shows I like. Made a bunch of roasted veg (brocolli, cauliflower, asparagus, zuchinni) while watching. Did this at CVS: (1) Listerine 2.99 (2) Almay eye shadow 11.98 (1) Clean and Clear shampoo 4.99 tax 1.28 -$4/$20 CRT -$4/$12 makeup CRT -$4.99 C/Clear CRT -$5/2 Almay MC -$1/1 Listerine Balance = $2.25(cleared w/GC) ==> $3 ECB Almay

I went to CVS today and got a free bottle of Clear Shampoo and a bottle of Dawn dishsoap. I used a CRT for the shampoo and my quarterly rewards for the dishsoap.
Staples: I gave my receipts to a manager and she sent them all in so hopefully, in six weeks I'll get a check for the rebates that were never sent to me.
At Aldis, I got a 10 lb. bag of potatoes for $1.49 and at Walmart I got a pineapple, an onion, a head of lettuce and 4 Duncan Hines frosting packets for $2.71. I got $.64 overage on the Duncan Hines. With what I got yesterday, my weekly total is under $25.00. I don't need anything else and I am waiting for a good deal on chicken breasts to stock up on.

I went to SAMs Club with mom (and her membership) today and was pleasantly surprised to find some good deals! A lot of things I felt I can still do better on combining sales/coupons/rewards, but some things I think make sense to just buy there once a year and be done. I won't buy a membership cuz being a single person household, it just doesn't make sense, but if I can go once or twice a year when mom visits, that works great! I got a 3 pack of store brand ibuprofen, each bottle has 500 tablets for like $12, and store brand of Zyrtec, 400 tablets for like $13! I had just bought a 30 ct Zyrtec at Target for $8 after coupons. And a box of 150 kitchen trash bags for under $10, again, something I rarely find deals on anymore.

Just an update - I went shopping last night because I needed to get certain receipts for rebates closing out in March, so I checked egg prices. There was quite a loss leader for $1.79 for dozen large. I'm sure it was a bargain, as the price for 18 of the same kind was over $4 (!), and for mediums, a dozen was $2.89. Much aloha for all the special greetings! Murphath - is renovation ever finished? I am slowly painting the last wall in my living room. When the house was empty we painted 2 walls, then a third later (I was "decorating" with an "accent" wall ), and now I just want them all light and bright. So it's slow - need to caulk the 50-year-old tongue and groove, and unload and move the furniture I have up against the wall. I just fill my paint tray, and when I run out - I stop! Another project is building a patio with paving stones, sand and coral on a side area 8' x 25'. So far, I just keep buying material a little at a time while we are trying to kill the weeds in the area.

Constanz I agree w/you about the Sams/Costco memberships. I live about 1.5 mi from a Sams. Both DDs belong to Costco BUT I never seem to find anything worth tying up a BUNCH of my hard earned $$ enought to stockpile a year/more worth. i could NOT use 1500 ibuprofin in 10 years.

Has anyone attempted to use the $3/1 peelie for Clear shampoo at CVS with the free CRT for $3 overage? Thinking about trying it today, if I can get there.
marvholly- unfortunately, I will likely have no problem using 1500 ibuprofen. The use by date is like 2016. I have chronic migraines and part of my treatment plan is taking 600-800 mg as soon as a headache starts.

We buy our eyeglasses/contacts at Costco and the savings more than pay for the membership. I have a tendency to buy the same things there: seafood, tortillas, green olives, milk, filet or rib eye steaks, etc. I even ended up stockpiling Pedigree kibbles there because the dog food freebies had dried up and I was able to get a 52# of Pedigree for $20.99 (after Costco coupon). Costco sends a home mailer out once a month filled with Costco coupons. I always check them out and occasionally stockpile an item that is rarely as cheap after sale and coupon on the outside. It's usually a food item that has a fairly long shelf life like powdered Coffeemate.

Also $1/2 any ore-ida frozen potatoes from 3/17 SS and .50/2 birds eye frozen veggies from 3/24 SS. But if nothing else, I guess there's always drinking
The only thing that I have is the $.50/2 Bird's Eye. Please PM me with your addie and how many you need and I'll get them out to you ASAP.

Sending my husband to Costco tonight, his list is Monster, hamburger, lawn trash bags, vanilla and my daughter likes to taking uncrustables for lunch and my stockpile is gone. So he's picking some uncrustables up. I buy the Costco Allegra allergy meds, Costco Benadryl for for my dogs it will last two years. I always get my cheese and tortillas there. If we are out of cheese and tortillas we are out of food in our house. My dogs like the duck treats from there.

It's amazing how cheap the flour tortillas are at Costco compared to the grocery store.

Cheaper than Aldi at $1 a pkg of 8 or 10; which is PLENTY for this single person household.
Re Jewel: Spoke to a former co-worker Tue whose wife works for Jewel. Sale is complete and new co (he did not remember who) has already taken over. So far they have closed 1 store on my standard shopping route. He told me they are closing the other one across from my fav fruit/veg mkt. The 3 other stores somewhat nearby are WAAAY off my regular shopping routine. Probably going to be giving up Jewel TOTALLY except for what Dominicks (safeway) matches.
Ran into a BIG couponer in CVS on Tue. Noticed because she uses the same organizer I have. She was checking out in front of me. She removed the FREE shampoo from her order because the red machine ate her coupon. I had hit the machine after her, freed the jam (her coupon) and was going to toss it. Gave it to her. She was a happy camper.

I did get $3 overage at CVS today for the Clear shampoo, if anyone is interested in trying it. Used the 4.99 CVS Q and the $3/1 peelie (I had a few stashed but think they're almost gone.). I put the overage toward those FAEB sleep aids this week, so was a really good deal.

Clayton Organic Beef Chuck Roast and Bottom Beef Round is an unusually low price at ShopRite today, $1.99/lb. Since I've seen signs of $6.99/lb. for the Chuck Roast at one store and $7.99/lb. at another I'm now wondering if there is a not good reason the price is so low.
Anyone else have ShopRite's with this kind of sale? So far I've bought 2 pkgs. of Chuck Roast and 1 of Beef Bottom Round because the price is so low. I'm wondering if I should get another package before they are gone or what? They are in those cryovac type packages so I was thinking of just putting one or more in the freezer as is.

Constanz - I'm with you on the Ibuprofen - if I take it as soon as the pretty lights start, I don't get the bad part of the migraine, so that or Naproxen Sodium is always in my purse.
My favorite bargain at Costco? The hot dog/drink! Can't get a cheaper "outside" meal than that around here! Also, the rotisserie chickens @ $4.99 compared to other stores $8.49 and up.

It was not on sale at my store. In fact the roasts I saw were $14.99 lb. The closest thing I saw to a sale on the Clayton organic beef was ground chuck for $4.99 a lb. and they were in tiny packages. It would cost a fortune just to make dinner for the family let alone buy it for the whole week.

Thanks Beach. I'm wondering if our local truck wasn't as well refrigerated as it should have been the entire time so they are dumping stock. Not sure why its Chuck Roasts at one location and yesterday at least was Chuck Roast, Bottom Round, and possibly small Sirloin packages. Doesn't seem to make any sense. Yes regular prices are too much, but I always do a sweep to look for those 50% off markdowns. Hmmmm. Think I'll pop one of the Chuck Roasts in the freezer soon just in case. Not sure about down there, but even 80/20 ground beef at $2.99/lb. is about as low as it gets around here regularly. $1.99/lb. is an amazing hopefully good shock.

The prices for the shoprite ground beef was $3.79-4.59, so i gues even that price is a sale. Am I really old for remembering when ground beef was cheaper than whole cuts. I did get some of the boneless, skinless chicken breats for $1.99lb. It is a good price and IMO it is healthy for us. On a different, but positive, note my strange diet must be working. Not only am in my size 12 petite skinny jeans but I now need a belt.
