What?! Gravity is a scientific law that can be tested. There is no God test.

I'm pretty sure Virgil just implied I'm too stupid to pick up on some of the subtle messages in children's programming.
I get it. I see it. I don't see Big Gay Conspiracy and Godless Evil lurking everywhere.

There is. There are several, in fact. ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/nerdy.png) The catch is that to get to the point where you're able to conduct them takes no small measure of faith, no small degree of humility, and a huge investment of time, sweat, and diligent study. But now I think you'll agree that any more discussion on the topic will have to migrate to the religion forum.

Let's just that that the book says it's so because they're abominable. The law was in existence before the book. In the same way, gravity doesn't exist just because physics books say it exists. Physics books will tell you gravity exists because--guess what--it does. It's not a matter of simply watching it. It's a matter of watching with a mind to look for very specific and often incredibly subtle things. Frankly, most of us have become so accustomed to them that we can't discern them all even when we devote the whole of our concentration to it. What law as this? and yeah, I'm sure if you are looking that hard, with that mindset, you will see it... Everywhere....

If you look hard enough for something... you'll convince yourself you've found it... even if it isn't really there... And you state your opinions as facts... and state facts as opinions... it's quite a twisted reality you've created for yourself, Virgil... I understands what he is saying, that's the differences.

If you plan on being even one iota more critical of children's programming, I'll consider this debate a 'success'. ![](http://images.proboards.com/new/cool.png)

Just like that minister who was convinced Mighty Mouse was snorting coke when he was smelling the flowers that gave him energy.

PDA at school. What may fly in liberal communities doesn't fly in areas that aren't. Not like he didn't know what would happen if he flaunted his lifestyle. Trouble is, his girls paid the price not him.

PI am critical of children's programming... Mainly for the consumerism and the loud, annoying characters...
I think spongebob's voice is grating and the story lines mind numbing... I don't think he and Patrick will turn my kids gay...

Trouble is, his girls paid the price not him. as was said, that's tacky no matter the gender of the parents. it wasn't that he was gay, he just didn't have the sense to keep his hands to himself at his children's school. call a spade a spade, please.

My explanation would start with a list of literature that I would expect you to read in full before we proceeded with the discussion. If you have no personal willingness to believe that God exists, reading most of it would be like chewing glass. And more to the point, if you have no personal willingness to believe that God exists, the subsequent discussion in the thread would deadlock very quickly. As I say, the process requires a great deal of intellectual humility. That said, if you're still interested and the willingness is there, create the thread and I'll post the literature sometime later this week when I'm able to compile it.

I knew it" or "man, didn't see that coming" or "dude, my bad" or we will just "gurgle" in the tummy of some worm. I have never heard of a definitive test that one could conduct without dying though. Short of that, it's all mustard seeds and Pascal's wager.

Hey, I could care less what he or she does but when it affects innocents, then I do. I find some gay people to be very selfish and self centered because its all about them and their rights. To hell with anyone else or their rights. My mom always said if you're comfortable with your sexuality, you don't need to flaunt it or shout it from the roof tops. Those that do, aren't really comfortable and wish to prove something.
