Normally yes...except this past year we sold our business and retired...so 2018 I probably will get to go back to work to pay off the taxes? ......Do you file early, or wait till the last possible second to file your taxes?

Somewhere in the middle. I file long form with hundreds of deductions, so there's a bit of paperwork involved. When is the last time you sat with an elder and listened to their stories?

In December... A lady in the quilt group (101 years old as of November) is hilarious and will tell stories on occasion (this time I heard about how she "wore the balls off her boyfriend".) Hmmm... did I find NNP's mom?!
Are you working on any fun projects?

Fun projects... Hmmmmm... Not at the moment, but there are several waiting for me. I'll report back when it's time. I am glad the Eagles won, if only for #inflategatekarma purposes. Did you watch the game? If not, how did you spend your day?

I did not watch the game. I spent the day reading in the sunshine, grocery shopping, and paying bills. Do you prefer mayo or Miracle Whip?

Neither ........ both do funny things to my digestive tract since my time in chemo. Several things I don't eat because of this ........ solid fats - no cookies, pie crust, gravies/sauces. I don't eat cabbage, especially cooked cabbage.
Hot dogs or hamburgers? Why?

I use a Swifter handle but I put an old dish rag on it that I can throw in the washing machine. I'm thinking about making a couple of 'heads' from old towels and strapping them on with velcro. Should work.
Have you started your tax return yet?

not started tax return just yet. I did last year and got my returned cash a week later after I filed February 01.! but I continued to get tax documents through the rest of the month of February. so then I decided to wait until march 01 to file tax report. I have nothing, and own nothing. I don't know if the other tax documents are even helpful for a bigger tax return? but I do feel more comfortable with waiting to file myself by march first. Question: who taught you how to drive?

Favorite candy: Maltesers or Lindt Truffle Balls (just about any flavor except the extra dark chocolate)
When was the last time you got flowers (or got someone else flowers) for Valentine's Day?

I don't have a significant other, so I don't give or get flowers on Valentine's Day.
A few years ago my daughter and her fiance went through a very rough few days just before Valentine's Day and with their work schedules I don't think they'd talked for a few days (which suited them just fine, given the circumstances). I sent her flowers. I picked out a great looking bouquet and vase and paid top dollar for it, since I was out of state at the time. When she sent me a picture of it, it didn't look a thing like what I'd picked out. But she was happy with it.
Have you made any plans to travel, and if so, where to?

I need to get my passport renewed (I should put that on my calendar for tomorrow!) before I can make any out-of-country travel plans. I want to be ready in case I find any great deals on flights (I missed out on some in January because I didn't think I could get my passport renewed on time). I'm saving a lot of money for other things right now, but still putting some aside for travel.
I've thought about taking DS to Vegas for his 21st birthday. That wouldn't be until October though, and not sure if he'd be interested.
My sister's ex-husband was the one who taught me how to drive. We all got tired of waiting for my dad to let me get my permit. So, private parking lots in the dark until I did...
Not a flower person, and not dating anyone, so no VD stuff here.
Is there a dish you'd like to learn to cook?

I love Gazpacho. Was introduced to it back in the 70 when in Madrid. Never did learn to make it as good though.

The only time I've had to drag out my Driver's License for ID was while in Vegas. I had to drag it out every time I used my Credit Card. I was afraid I was going to wear the off the picture and info But to answer the question - no except for the above. No one asked for ID.
In that vain - do you use CC, cash or check for most of purchases??
