Inside decorations will come down today and tomorrow but outside will stay for another week.
It's cool here today .... and in the city of Phoenix is a high pollution day warning. No rain or wind to clean the air. Talked to kids in Michigan and Texas and they are cold ...... and thinking about becoming snowbirds next year ........... YEA!!!!!!!!!

I'll take a gift card if I can use it around here! For presents though, I kind of prefer something simple, or homemade, or "no big deal". I hate the thought of people spending money on me, so gift cards can be hard...
I received a $5 coupon in the mail "for my birthday" from a local hardware store. (I get a few $10 off $50 coupons throughout the year, but this is the first time they've done a birthday one.) Are you a rewards member for anyplace that does little, random things like that?

Happy early birthday, Apple!  I get a free drink at Starbucks. Because I signed up, I also receive emails from DQ, Wienerschnitzel, Arby's, Einstein Bagels, and a few other places for birthday treats. If one googles, you can find articles about companies offering birthday specials. Ever pay for the order for the person behind you in the drive thru? |

No. I've had to plunge my arms into ice water elbow deep to get chicken for the fryer at work, no way in hell I'm putting my entire self in freezing cold water "for fun"!
Do you like pickled food? (I just finished off my jar of pickled asparagus, so glad Grocery Outlet still had some!)

Do you prefer fresh, frozen or canned vegetables when cooking?? That's funny, because I don't like pickles! I love pickled carrots, green beans, zucchini, etc though. We even make our own zucchini relish and green tomato relish (since I don't like cucumber relish). I prefer fresh, unless I'm being lazy, and then I like having frozen vegetables since they are already chopped up. I can't think of the last time I used canned vegetables. How much sleep do you usually get? |

Polygamy... I'm pretty much a "you're an adult, and if what you are doing doesn't affect me, why should I care?" person. I know the current communities who do it "under the radar" are often ripe for abuse and brainwashing, marrying little kids. But, lots of things have the potential for abuse, and that shouldn't be the sole reason they are outlawed (punish the wrong-doers, not everyone). Shaken or stirred-- Not a drinker really, so I don't know! The few times I drink, but want to try something new, I tell the bartender I'd like something sweet and really light on the alcohol (if I have to drive in the next few hours). I got something I loved on my 21st birthday, but I have no clue what it was  What kind of food do you want to eat when you are sick? (for me, it's usually potato chips) |

with all of my various sensitivities and allergies, I tend to stick to brands I know play well with my system as far as foods, HBA, and cleaning products. outside of those, I will try new things from time to time.

No. The only folks around here with the day off are government workers and banks (well, them and my home offices, apparently). Otherwise, from what I can tell from inside looking out from my office, it seems to be business as usual. Planning a winter vacation any time soon? TV lately seems inundated with warm weather getaway advertisements.  |

Our five weeks in Europe trip. It was so much fun (especially being able to meet distant relatives, and our private Maginot Line tour).
No winter vacations planned, but do have two small day trips planned to go do some fun stuff (comedy show and theater show).

No on the paperwork. That's what April 14th is for! (kidding) As self-employed (according to the IRS) I pay quarterly estimates and usually is very close so not much of a rebate and just roll it to the next year. So no rush to file to get refund money. Name one thing that you enjoy about winter. did you watch football this weekend? what a game last night!! Yeah my Vikes! Finally on the other end of a game ending play in the playoffs. |
