Wish to make a defensive statement on this one. There were/are a lot of us that didn't/don't have a clear understanding of this issue. Moon was very kind and gentle in helping me make the change to Firefox. I appreciated that greatly.

I love that I use Firefox and my wife uses Chrome. That way I am solely responsible if anything goes wrong on Firefox (although I have noted she has been on it when something doesn't work for her on Chrome ).

LOL!! I would need somebody full time. I talked to DH tonight and he said he can set it up where I can run Proboards off of Chrome and keep IE/MSN as my home page and my Outlook/Emails will stay the same. Hopefully this will keep me from having some of the other problems I've had. When he'll get around to it... But at least he'll do it one day and it will be some time this month.

We you, POM and couldn't imagine this place without your ever-loving inept computer-savvy existence. You'll survive - and come out on the other side smiling. Once Virg & Moon get all the gears in motion and the wrinkles ironed out, it'll be a piece of cake. (Just make sure your're letting Mr POM read all this stuff so he'll know what to do to keep you with us ... just in case).

I don't have a clear answer for you on that. I would anticipate that they'll announce on the support forum that they are ready for admins who wish to upgrade early to submit their forums to them. At that point, i would announce that i've done so here. but the actual upgrade time/date probably won't be known to me, so that part would be an abrupt cutover, i suspect.

me too hahahah, since so many haven't bothered to experiment with the new software.. i don't mean those who have tried but can't get there yet for whatever reason. i mean the ones who haven't even seen/read the various announcement threads.. or that have and just don't care. after the effort i've made to keep people informed, i'd better not hear "I didn't know", because i will be pissed.

In reply, it is the --> between "Tube" and the "Globe/sheet" buttons.

It has this effect on what you type between the two. I use it if I am quoting some external source instead of the blocked in quote feature

it's mainly the indented format that sets it apart from the other stuff.
