Nope, I did that earlier. I click on Muffin Shop, page 1 loads, then I click pg 591 but it just keeps going through the loading cycle. I can get the previous page (590) to come up, but not the current one.

by the way... if you are down at the bottom of a page, a quick way to get to the top is to press Alt+D..

and if you haven't already noticed, that thin bar that has "Home to the MSN Refugees >Everything Else > Earth Muffin's Mellow Coffee Shop" is a breadcrumb trail, as well as having drop down menus.

Apparently you're right. I can click page 590 and it loads instantly. Then if I click page 591 or "next", it won't appear - and reverts me right back to page 1.

Very weird. I got 591 once, but couldn't get it again. Page 590 is full, so the problem seems to lie in posting new posts to 591. It's happening, because I saw the new post I typed once, and it was on page 591. Alas, page 591 is gone again. Spooky!

It's going to be a big learning curve getting all the snafu's beaten into place. And think if we have to click on every bleeping thread, then see if we can post something and if we can quote something and still be on the right page. Oh geez I need a drink right flipping now.


Now something else.......Not V5 so don't even worry. I'm trying to get a hidden you Tube song into my Personal Text & Signature. I'm trying to go all out for the season. I'm doing JOY , BUT it's not sticking. I think it's too long of a code. CRAP.

I also found a PARTICIPATED trail link. It's like Virgil's Quick Bar BUT BETTER. It's up in the upper right hand corner under your Welcome Nic/Sign out section. WAY COOL. It shows all the threads that I've posted in. I don't know how far it goes back but it looks pretty extensive.

Still can't get pg. 591 to load in Beta. Page 590 comes up fine - then if I go to page 591, it reverts me right back to page 1.

I'll wait to try again after a few more of the kinks are ironed-out.

SL, it has worked for me doing just what sugi said.

Go all the way out to EE
Click on the muffin thread link - NOT on a page number (should put you on pg 1)
click on the last page number.

SECOND ~ See Muffin Thread, DO NOT CLICK
THIRD ~ click on page 1, on page one
FOURTH ~ click on page 591

And viola your there, but not for long cause you'll post something and end up in wonkyville.

Nope, I did all that - and when I was on pg 1, I clicked pg 591 - and it's still cycling trying to load - I've been on the waiting for it to finish for about 2 minutes now - I have no problem pulling up page 590 - it's just the last page that won't load.

It came up fine yesterday (or Tuesday) when I was over there. I kwit - not going to try again tonite.

I think v5 has indigestion from too much turkey - I'll try again in a little while. Muffin shop's the only thread I've gone into over there today - I wasn't too concerned - I'm sure it'll be fine when I go there later (or tomorrow). Maybe my heart's just not in it right now

Another thing I noticed that's here but not over there, is the page numbers at the bottom of threads as well as top. Over there, they're just showing at the top of the page.

Okay, I just went back there and tried out about 5 other threads with multiple pages. The ONLY one that isn't working is the Muffin Shop.

All other threads, I can click on the last page # and it comes up right away.

So it seems that's the only thread with issues that I can find.

I'm not quite that enthusiastic about it yet. There's still a few things I'm iffy about. But I'll make suggestions the more I play with it.

Posting images is a lot quicker/simpler - just paste the image link into the little text box and it's done. No more fitting it between the 2 sets of brackets.

One thing I'd like to see is centering of text in avatar taglines. Right now it's all set to the left margin on v5. I like things symmetrical.
