Sorry. Think it was a combination of being a little bored and also caught up in the whole gossip about who's got what going on thing...

Can't hurt his feelings. EX was brutally nasty so must tread carefully

I posted elsewhere about having a tria, I think. Not entirely happy with the company; a wire to the battery got loose and their suggestion was 'buy a new one from us.' DH fixed it instead but now it needs fixing again.
I mostly concentrate on bikini line, since I used to get awful razor burn there. The tria killed a lot of the coarser hairs, so I still have enough there that I have to shave too but I don't get razor burn anymore. Haven't really made much progress on my legs though...and agreed, armpits HURT.

I wish DF would. I've hinted tactfully but I think he thinks I'm kidding. Yeah, I know. If you figure out how to convince him without hurting his feelings, please share your secret. And before you all act horrified, I'm sure I'm not the only one out there with this particular issue. Especially with those of us who have husbands over 40. Easy peasy! Tell them that their tree looks taller without all the underbrush.

And he held still for that? Even when you had to fire up the weed whacker?

Yeah, he let me. I was shocked. It's now a regular occurrence.

Interesting. Wonder if I could try that while he's sleeping and then act innocent and shocked the next morning.

Here I thought zib's crotch sweat would win the TMI award, and swamp runs away with it.

Who has had laser hair removal? What did you have done and how much did it cost? And most importantly was it worth the money? -------------- I had it done. It didin't cost me anything, as I used to work in a laser hair-removal clinic. It didn't work very well because I'm very, very blonde.

I've thought about rubbing his back with Nair and seeing if I could get away with it!

I've thought about rubbing his back with Nair and seeing if I could get away with it! Oh, didn't realize the hair was an all over thing. Eeek. Yes, you should definitely try the Nair or some sort of "accident." Unfortunately now all I can picture is the Austin Powers gag where they've glued all the horrible hair all over him. You've got it way worse than I do. DH isn't very hairy at all, with one unfortunate exception. I can live with that.

He looks like a wooly mammoth. With red, brown, and grey wool.

OMG, I am so sorry for you. I will never complain again.
If he's that hairy, it's a good thing you're smooth. Otherwise, you'd stick together like velcro. Very awkward.

You guys are cracking me up! ;D
But I did learn something... I always thought electrolysis and laser removal were the same thing.

I am completely hairless and I don't look like a little girl. I haven't had hair there since I was like 17. I guess I was traumatized by my mother's natural flaming out of control bush (my mother is a natural red head and doesn't believe in shaving a bikini line EVER). So I have pretty much always shaved. I like the clean look. Oh and the PAIN...HOly hell I can remember days walking away with burn marks on my hoohah! It hurt like a MOFO! The hair did thin out from the treatments, but all it ended up doing is making my hoohah look like it had mange for awhile (when I let it grow in a little). Now you can't tell I ever had it done if I let it grow in. Same with my armpits. I'm sorry I can't stop laughing over the visual of a 'flaming out of control bush'! I can't stop the visual from invading my brain! I still have nightmares of it coming at me out of the sides of her bathing suit! !

So, what kind of personality do you have to have to do this as a job? Or wax women's hoo has for a job? Do you dream of smooth bikini areas as a little girl and see it as some sort of human service mission?

Are you kidding? Do you know what they get paid for maybe 10 minutes of work at the most? Plus, tip.
