Romney keeps saying "tumult"... like it's the official Word Of The Day. It's like watching a dog worrying a bone.

PBS isn't showing any distracting pop ups. It seems to run on lower bandwidth because DH is raiding on his video game and it hasn't caused any interruptions like it does on the other sites. www.pbs.org/newshour/

Obama is taking it to him now. "You said A". Then you said Z"

I've been watching the debate online because I broke my YM-approved rabbit ears a few months ago. Is every network airing these completely patronizing facts over the screen? Did they seriously think they needed to post "Obamacare is the nickname for the health care reform law"? Is that what it is?!?!!?

Is it me or is Mitt stuttering? He doesn't look very confident tonight, but, then again, this is the one area where Fearless Leader has more insider information (and confidence) than Mittens does. President Barack Obama, a man I deeply admire, was a virgin-rookie at it himself back in 2008.

Foreign policy is not something Mitt knows a lot about. He's pretty much agreeing with Obama's positions. he is starting to remind me of Palin.

That's what I thought- Mitt was going to be at a disadvantage from the start.

He looks and sounds like someone who just wants this over.
Obama is totally in his comfort zone.

I don't remember how well Obama did with the debates, when it came to foreign policy. It seems likely that the incumbent always has the advantage in that particular topical area, but I seem to remember Obama telling people what they wanted to hear, about bring troops home, ending wars, and all of that.

Right now they are both trying to tell people what they want to hear.

Obama had the advantage (imo) back then because McCain was a war hawk who wanted to continue the war in Iraq. Obama clearly said he'd end it. I think voters were sick to death of that war.

So, last week on the Daily Show, Mitt got called out for wearing a necktie with an English stripe instead of an American stripe. He's doing it again. Pretty brazen if you ask me.
(The content thus far has been pretty uneventful - I can only assume this is the kind of minutiae that the undecideds are looking for)

Right now they are both trying to tell people what they want to hear. You noticed that too, huh? But it's danged funny to realize that they're mimicking each other, driven by what people want to hear... ;D

If he wasn't stuttering before, Romney was seriously flustered after "people in Detroit don't forget"
People in Detroit are mostly watching the Lions game, but the point is valid.

When they are discussing foreign policy, Obama is winning however Romney keeps pulling the debate back the the economy whenever he gets the chance and that's where he is looking more comfortable the Obama.
Personally I wish the moderator would spank them both if/when they deviate from foreign policy.

A couple of rounds of near-fisticuffs when talking about the auto industry and investing in R&D - I thought Obama was going to take a bite out of Mittens when MR brought up Tesla and the like... if looks could kill...
