I've turned a mean spirited thread into one that helps others? Done with love and dedication to those that can not help themselves. Post# 1 from q ! Post any uninteresting, off topic, insignificant, or simple nonsense here. Truth or facts matter not, as long as it's posted with love..... That's what seems to be on the menu around here. no disagreements allowed. The rules are simple. If you don't agree, just get the hell out! You are not allowed to rebutt. Conversation, involving opposing viewpoints, will NOT be tolerated. If you can't blow each other kisses, you're just not the element we want around here.... Oh, no you don't, damnot! Don't start with that garbage! You're more than welcome to disagree. You're more than welcome to rebut. What you're not welcome to do is insult and call names. Neither of those is rebuttal. There's no positive argumental attribute to name-calling and insults. Here's a link to the proper forum for your charitable sites: Charitable Sites Heremmhmm, Administrator

Hello, Miss M. It's a very very bad day. I need some rainbows badly. Aww, sweetie, I'm sorry you're having a bad day. I'll see what I can do about those rainbows. We've had enough rain around here, one would think they'd be easy to find!

It's not the rain. I lost or had my billfold stolen and my life was in it. I'm in the process of cancelling everything and getting replacements. I'll probably be a victim of identity theft.

OMG! That's horrible! I'm pretty sure, if you call everybody concerned (including the police) and report the theft, you'll be protected. I know this happens, but I've never known anyone to whom it happened. If all your credit card companies know, and your bank knows, they should be able to keep you from being a victim of some scumbag!

It may not even be a scumbag. It may be that I'm just a ditz. Hopefully, it will turn up around the house, but I'm pretty positive I left it on the counter at the last place I went yesterday. So? It's my fault even if someone did pick it up and run away with it.
I did report it to the police and, of course, the place where I think I left it has security cameras, but "they aren't functioning at this time". Great. Sounds like a lie to me.
I did the bank thing late last night so at least my account is protected. I'm in the process of replacing DL, SS card, insurance cards, work ID, etc. This is just....so dumb on my part.

LOL! Non-functioning security cameras is code for: "We didn't bother to get functioning ones." We had those at the hospital, on the exterior. One early morning, the Pepsi truck was parked out front to deliver to the vending machines. The guy did his stocking, and when he got back somebody had stolen his truck! Police were called and wanted to see the security tapes. Umm, there weren't any. Fortunately, the guy drove the Pepsi truck down to a strip bar about three blocks away and parked it in their parking lot to steal what he wanted and make off with his booty. Oddly enough, the strip bar management had working exterior cameras. The guy got nailed, and the going joke at the hospital was: "The strippers are well protected on the way to their cars at night. The hospital staff and guests? Not so much!" The hospital now has working exterior security cameras. I think management was pretty mortified.

(That's how my mama talks). You aren't here to help others. You are here to irritate. Try to sell your bag of goods to someone who believes your schtick. Cause I be way smerter than that. Have a wonderful day full of rainbows and puppies!!

The first part is right. It's a lesson in futility. The second part? Not so much. I've never felt the need to resort to violence. As far as the 3rd part? It is quite good. At least for those of us who don't mind indulging in a bit of silliness now and again. For those who can't or won't? It probably isn't good. While I feel pity for those people who can't laugh at themselves once in awhile, I don't pity them enough to change my ways.
Und das ist, Sir.

It's my favorite time of year. Days in the 70's and the nights still cool. Children laughing and playing outside. All the grills fired up. People walking their dogs and smiling and saying "hello" as they walk by. I love this. It makes me feel totally revived. I LOVE this time of year!

I agree, Gel. Wonderful time of the year. Now if only I can retire and enjoy it more fully. No more 9 hour days sitting in an office cubicle. Soon .......... very soon

A couple of hours? That will work cause I'll die of boredom. I'm not into that new age hocus pocus. I just go to the shooting range and pop a cap in a couple of targets and I'm good to go!!

LOL!! I don't mean to be obstinate, but I'm pretty sure you are supposed to exhale and then pull the trigger for a single shot and lots of small breaths for rapid fire. But what the heck. I'm just shooting at targets.
