I have a question... my mother thinks I have lost it... I keep my reusable grocery bags in my car and keep my scan tags on my key chain with my keys- except Safeway (Von's, Dominick's) because it does not have one- so it stays in my wallet. Does anyone else do this? Mom thinks I am going overboard by carrying my bags and as she put it "40,000 keytags" around. If I have my bags, I get my discount (5 cents though it may be) and by having my key tags, I never miss a discount. I have I think 9 reusable bags (maybe more) and 2 of those silver keep cold/hot bags in my car. I have CVS, WAGS, Price Chopper, and Country Mart key tags on my key ring. I bet 90% of us on this message board do this! But hey, don't feel bad, my mother thinks the same about me. What really gets her is ALL my coupons! lmao BUT she loves the free stuff I share with her.

Target finish/electrasol- I just checked the target dot com and did not see ANY finish electrasol products listed- not even the dishwasher cleaner stuff! I wonder if they are going to stop carrying it... I have noticed in my town that many of the chain stores- like wal-mart doesn't carry Hormel Chili no beans anymore (my DM and DGM love the stuff ) but the grocery store now carries 2 sizes. Giant doesn't carry Newman's Own Ranch dressing, but Acme or Food Lion will have it. It's like they are trying to keep their own prices down- unfortunately it means multiple stores depending on what I want/need. Speaking of ranch dressing- does anyone know of a brand other than Newman's Own that does not have msg that actually tastes good? Or does anyone know of a good recipe? I had a recipe years ago- but I have no clue where it ever went. My nieces think ranch is a food group and I try to stay away from preservatives.

picghaw: I see exactly what you did and think it was beautiful. You could have used another $1/1 All coupon in your second transaction bringing your OOP to $1.20. If you can't find the Arnicare again, you could roll your $3 RRs into the Neuragen. Then use the Neuragen RR to buy the All and another RR item (Veripure, Right Guard, etc.), but I really like what you did. Thanks dancinmama and nickyleey. I'm happy about this Tues deal, and when I have time, I'll post Sunday & Monday. There are pretty similar to the 1st Lysol Post except I got more costly fillers (e.g had $2 to spend and I grabbed Cottenelle TP for $3.50 instead). dancinmama I only had 1 All Q, so I'm all out. Also this is my 1st time using anything but Tide, so I don't know if I want to buy anymore(had a bad rash situation last time I tried 15 yrs ago). Not sure how to proceed at this point....should I hold out for next weeks deals or continue to roll Neuragen RRs (I have 3 more Neuragen Q's to use). I could buy more Scott TP instead......but I can't find my Scott IP. I'm afraid I tossed it by mistake!

Ok folks, starting searching for these coupons now! At Walgreens next week, there's going to be an awesome deal on Walgreens brand diapers. They're $8.99 each and will be on BOGO sale. There's also a coupon booklet floating around stores called Infant Care. Here's a pic: docs.google.com/document/d/1Bzz4vJocUSYMAVMZY_AhTmYc4JRZ-_qooBUCrCUQLr4/edit?hl=en&pli=1#There are also $2 peelie coupons on Walgreens brand of baby wipes so see if you can track these down. Apparently, there are a bunch of different kind of peelies out there, the ones you want are $2 off a pack of diapers (some are $2 off diapers AND wipes). Here's the math: 2 diapers $8.99 (second is free with BOGO sale) - $4 from infant care book ($2 off each pack, second discount will scan automatically) - two $2 peelies = $0.99 for two packs of diapers!

It is now 2 full business days since I sent my complaint to Safeway corp. I have heard NOTHING back after the auto response.
Speaks (NOT well) to their entire concept of “customer service.”
I do carry all my store loyalty cards on my regular keychain and I have several more than just the grocery. I do NOT carry a checkbook at all. If my purchase exceeds my available cash I must decide if I want to cut back or use my debit card.
I just checked. My purse w/o coupons is only 6 oz lighter but my wallet weighs a LOT and this includes my spare glasses and cell phone.
Dancin The 2 EB for expired products is ONLY for CA.

Awesome!!! I'm definitely going to try to hunt down some of these q's. These are the only generic brand of diaper that we have actually liked. All the others have been really low quality.
Thanks for the heads up!

Good Morning, Hounds! I am eating breakfast right now: FREE cereal and Free milk from EB's at CVS. I bought some of the 99 cent bagels from WAGs with my RR's as a "filler" for an order, and I could also attach an RR to it. It was kind of a pricey filler, but I did not need another pencil and I could use the bagels. I hope that they are good. I also worked on two Physician's Formula rebates last night. DH did one for our DD, who lives in another city. I did mine, so both of us will get the $10.99. There was a time when I would not even do them, but Dancinmama and several of the other ladies on this thread convinced me that the money was worth the effort. They were and still are right!I am doing better with my rebates and SCR's at Rite Aid. With RA, it is so simple, you just input the information on the computer and then request a check at the end of the month. I will participate as long as I have UPs and coupons to spend to buy the items. This way, I will get an extra check at the end of the month. Right now I have about $31.00 accumulated. I am sure that before February is done, I will have more. I also have $52.00 in UPs. I know that this is not much, but it is a lot for me, because my Rite Aids are NOT coupon friendly stores. I do not like going to them. I also am up to about $86.31 or so in Winter Rewards, so I should be getting an extra $20.00 when it hits $100.00 in products. This should happen next week. Like I said, it took me a few years, with Dancinmama, Frugalsuz, and others encouragement and help, but I have finally decided that it is well worth the hassle of saving the receipts and getting a check in cash later. I put the money in a small, separate bank account that I use to pay for FOOD and OOP. This way, I do not have to use the money from my regular paycheck to pay for food and other stuff.I only put in money from rebate checks, private tutoring and Saturday school teaching money( I am an English language teacher). I also clean an office every two weeks for extra cash. Dave Ramsey says that it is these little extra "money streams" that can make the difference when times are tough.

I went to my Target yesterday and they did have the Finish at $2.50. I swear that mine never has the temporary markdowns. I was soooo happy.

Also did the finish deal and was able to get 10 of them with my coupons! Azucena, What a great addition to your stockpile! Now you have enough to last you two years. I have about 12 bottles underneath my sink right now. I don't have to buy that expensive product for the next two years. I think that the usual price is about $4.99, times 10 = $49.00, minus $25.00 for the coupons, the net would have been about $25.00. This way you are paying 50 cents a bottle with your coupons and the total is $5.00. So, what you would normally pay for one bottle ($4.99) , you got 10 bottles instead. Good deal. Yay.

I actually found 4 more of the $2.25 Finish Qs and gave them to one of my coupon "sources" and told her of the deal. This will ensure my coupons keep coming and cost me nothing as I didn't buy the product. I now have enough to last me and my MIL (one of my other coupons sources) for 2 years. I was either paid to buy (CVS and Walgreens) or got it for 25 cents. ;D

Holly: Why is that? I know that CVS got into trouble regarding keeping expireds on the shelf, but doesn't that apply to the entire country? Or was there some kind of lawsuit that only effected CA?

Suziq, Last year in between my swagbucks gift cards, my points gift cards, SCR rebates and other rebates, I made a little more than 600$. That was with only one rebate address. I am doubtful if I can make that much this year, since I am not shopping CVS and WAGs at all now, but hopefully RA will make up for all of that.

I am doubtful if I can make that much this year, since I am not shopping CVS and WAGs at all now, but hopefully RA will make up for all of that. saveinla: Why no WAGs or CVS these days? Is it just too much to do all three drug chains? I agree, that of the (3) RA is definitely the one where you can make the most money back due to the SCRs. Unfortunately, for me, it is the one that has the least to offer in terms of products that I need to buy and is the least coupon friendly of the three and is the furthest from my home. The food selection at mine leaves A LOT to be desired, but as long as they offer these great MMs and the SCRs, I'm going to shop there. It is EXTREMELY difficult to do all three stores. When my CVS was accepting expired EBs and CRTs, I was doing CVS right and left. The faster I tried to spend my EBs, the more I made (due to all the $/$$ we were getting). Now, my store "will" take expireds, but not as willingly as before, so I spent down my EB stash and am back to a reasonable level which has allowed a lot more time for RA. But I have to say that in the 9 month period that my CVS was taking anything and everything to make a sale, it was glorious. I was able to stockpile items cheaper and more abundantly than I had ever been able to in the past and am EXTREMELY grateful. During that time I was jumping in and out of RA and WAGs. I'd do the very best deals and then try to cash in my rewards on rebates as soon as I possibly could; then jumping back in when there was another HUGE MM.

So happy for those who have gotten to do the Finish/Electrosol deal at Target. ($2.50 Price Cut - $2.25 MC = $.25/ea.) It's a great way to use those $2.25/1 stragglers.

It's been hard trying to juggle all 3 and keep up with everything else going on at home and work. I am finding that right now CVS does not have too much to offer and I just go in once a month to roll one of my existing ECBs. Last year they had a ton of deals and I took advantage of that, but lately they have not had any good CRTs or coupons off and I am actually enjoying the break. The issue with my WAGs is that unless I go in on Sunday morning, I will never get any of the RR deals and they never have enough stock for the monthly deals. I also seem to pay too much for tax and fillers and since they have not had any good sale like the one at Thanksgiving last year, I have been skipping Wags also. I went a couple of times this year to do the Vicks and the Kraft Mcand Cheese, but nothing else after that. One other reason is that I have a bigger stock pile now and can now choose the deals that I want to do at all 3 stores - thanks to all of you. ;D Our grocery deals at Ralphs have been better for the past 6 months and between them and Trader Joes, my grocery spending has also been kept in check, so I am happy with just doing my RA deals.

Semi NAG- EXTRA Qs- Will update this weekend, but it looks like I will have an extra q source for several weeks at minimum. My estranged (or just strange, use your own judgment) father blew a head gasket in his car and is the local paper guy- so my unemployed non-rent paying DB will be delivering his papers at least until he has the money to A) fix the car or B) replace it. Hopefully this will turn into something permanent- I have another job I am really hoping he gets- but I like the idea of free coupons without having to talk to my father... My brother and I have delivered papers off and on since we were 4 and 6 respectively- I am older, so this is nothing new. I gave it up, it's dirty, you're out in all kinds of weather, all hours, and it's not the money maker t used to be. Plus I have gotten hurt a few times doing it. DB sys I can have all the leftover q inserts as long as I pull and clip them.

Need to think about what to do next. I need to start tracking things somehow. Thanks to everyone for their help. I really appreciate it.

I'd do the very best deals and then try to cash in my rewards on rebates as soon as I possibly could; then jumping back in when there was another HUGE MM. dancinmama, Yes. One other reason is that I have a bigger stock pile now and can now choose the deals that I want to do at all 3 stores - thanks to all of you. ;D Our grocery deals at Ralphs have been better for the past 6 months and between them and Trader Joes, my grocery spending has also been kept in check, so I am happy with just doing my RA deals. saveinla: I totally agree re: CVS. Lately, they have been NOTHING to write home about. I did like the Zantac deal at CVS this week cuz that is something that we will actually use and needed. The same with the Mini eye drops at RA; DH uses them daily (when his contacts get dry) and he was almost out of them which saved me from having to spend about $18 for them at Costco. And I have to agree about WAGs. Due to the cost of fillers and sales tax in CA, doing most of the deals is cost prohibitive, which is why I usually start at WAGs only when they have the RR deals that are pure profit (other than sales tax). Oh how I long for the good ol' days of the Easy Saver Rebates when everything at WAGs was COMPLETELY FREE!!

picghaw: Don't beat yourself up about the Oceanspray. When you are working "on the fly" you will always think of something you could have done better later.
Rolling back and forth in the same week is great as long as you are getting SOMETHING that you will actually use and at a decent OOP after all is said and done.
Each Neuragen that I buy "costs" me almost $1.50 in sales tax alone. I am going to use mine to buy DH another bottle of Polo cologne, but the sales tax and fillers to get what I need to buy this second bottle are adding up fast. I really had to think about it before I committed myself to doing the deal.

HOUND ALERT!
If anyone has any of the $2 Walgreens coupons to spare for the diapers, I'd love them! I just went to 2 at lunch and they only have the $2 off diapers and wipes coupon. And no coupon books either...grrrr! I can trade some other coupons if you need... kristenmerrill at msn dot com
Thanks!
