Just got back from using my Gain coupons at Dollar General. They had one variety of liquid for 3.25 and one for 3.50, so, I'm good with that! I also had a 50% of "housewares" coupon from their website, as well as a $5/20 that came in the mail (our local store just opened a few weeks ago.) I had a friendly cashier and NO problems using any of my coupons. I did ask if they would take the 5/20 that expired yesterday (I was going to go but was snowed in ) and she said no, but, other than that I was very happy. They also had a bunch of clothes discounted to $3! I know their clothes aren't great quality, but, I don't mind paying that. I got a black zip up running jacket that'll be perfect to take on the plane next weekend, a cute lightweight vest and a cute sweater wrap/vest. I wish I hadn't lost out on that 5/20, but such is life...

So I was on my way home from Target, stocking up on the Smart Ones and frozen veggies with the gift card deal.. I come to a stoplight and see probably close to 20 police cars, all with lights and sirens blaring, flying down the road. I witnessed my first police chase!! Pretty weird, actually. I live in North County of St. Louis which tends to be have some rough areas and I guess this was one of those "rough" areas... I called my hubby and he started laughing, asking if it was a Blue Ford Focus, that he had to stop for the SAME POLICE CHASE an hour earlier! No, it wasn't, but it was still strange.

KROGER ALERT: The Gillette Fusion razors are discounted and today's the last day to use the PG $4.00 e-coupon and combine it with the $4.00 MQ. I spent $6.25 at Kroger and got 10 cans of Manwich, 10 cans Chef Boyardee Ravioli, 6 Colgate toothpastes, 1 Gillette Fusion power razor and an 8 lb. bag of naval oranges. It was a fruitful trip, no pun intended.

Rite Aid is still out of everything so I just got 5 papers with the PG inserts for $2.00 using my 20% discount. I donated the papers with a sign that said "free but no coupons." I got more rainchecks added to my collection.

At CVS I bought 2 more papers, 2 Crests, 2 Oral-B toothbrushes, 1 Revitalens, 1 Dove deodorant, 2 six packs Dove bar soap, 1 Dawn dish soap and paid nothing since I'm still using a giftcard to pay tax. I ended up with $9.29 in ECB's and I started with $10.00. DH had $1.00 ECB so I bought him some duct tape.

I spent $6.25 for a total of 45 items today and I haven't hit Meijers or WAGs yet.

I got 20 Smart Ones today and two of the Target insulated bags. I used two $5/10 Target Qs and a $4/10 and $3/10 Qs. It made them about $1 each! Thanks again Mamaw for the Target coupons. I don't shop there much, but will remember where to get the coupons if I can't find them on the site.
