No, I'm way south of Decatur, Ga.! Close to the Fl. line.
But my brother graduated from Macon, Ill. high school in about '50. And I have cousins all over the place around there. Had a niece who lived in the Big Windy for awhile....she's in Az. now...she got smart getting away from that cold up there!

I have a couple of friends in Springfield. We were up last year for the fair & melted in that 100º heat! The fair sure isn't what it used to be, I was disappointed! Ty, come on down here. Land is cheap & the weather is LOTS better. It does get pretty warm in the summers though.
And just as corrupt as most countries! In fact, the whole state political scene is corrupt & has been for many, many, many years!

Kaydee,.......re: your post 286. Are you any where close to Marianna, FL.? I spent about 6-7 months of my life there (Graham Air Base), during Primary flight training. Interesting memories.; but so long ago.

Not to awfully far, but lots closer to Tallahassee! My son spent some time in PC (Panama City) at one of the Navy schools. In fact, now that I think about it, he did that twice...once soon after he went in (single) and once after he was married w/kids. He also took a school at Great Lakes up there by uncle right after basic training in Orlando! ;D Some of the kids from around here that went up there with him had NEVER been exposed to COLD weather or snow before! We aren't too far from Moody AFB either!

From Marianna, we spent some weekends in Panama City. I recall a good restaurant (Seven Seasons ?), I think. Great seafood...and the beach was named Long Beach. Our complaint was: we were there from Sept. to about March (Winter), and the Alabama school teachers thought that was too cold for them... LOL.

There used to be a bar along the beach at PC...Red's, it was run by an old retired Chief. He had some of the best burgers I've ever eaten. And then there was another little place that was across from the Navy yard, can't remember it's name but if you ordered Heavenly Hash....YOU GOT A PLATTER FULL...MIXED, SAUSAGE, BACON, HAM, HASH BROWNS & EGGS. I did good just to get half of it down & it was pretty cheap too!
So what the heck is the market going to do this week? I've seen a couple of articles out there that say it's going down.

Japan and Asia closed up 1 to 2 % . If the EU is up it should be a good day for US stocks. The rest of the week, Who Knows.

Yes, I dropped today...back in the red! That was short lived!
DI, I have a question. I was going to put in an order after hours today. The game had one price and the quote on MSN money boards had a price 0.02 lower. I've checked again later & still no change. The ticker is NUGT. So who is right???

The Game is ALL WAYS RIGHT, even when it's wrong. MSN is about 15 minutes behind. After Hours is a different thing in the game, it means nothing till the open price of the Market is.

uncle, I don't think our trading style is close to each other. You have a pure daytade port where you hold no stocks at closing where I am fully invested all of the time. Why, because I don't want to miss any of the upward motion of the Market. You can all ways put a trade in to help you in the down days or cut back in your positions to give you some cash to buy back lower and get a better average. The Market goes up more than it goes down, but when it goes down it goes down. That's why you stay in the Market for that 10 to 15% spike up when it turns back up, then you can hammer the rest of the run with good trades. JMO
