I think PM is a great long term investment. I really wish I had more money to invest right now because I'd like to be scooping up shares. I'd love to see the price fall even further (but I'm in accumulation mode) since this is one I think I could probably hold onto permanently. I'd really love to have a million dollars in PM right now.

wxyz, I find that I have to go to a different screen to get the correct (flip) gains/losses. When I first go into the game I'm on the "welcome" screen, I then click "portfolio" and get the correct ####s. Is this what has been happening to you?

My portfolio should have also showed a gain today. I recorded all my transactiions on a spreadsheet and included deduction the $3.95 fee per transaction. I tried to be as accurate as possible using the buy and sell prices they show on the transactions section. I used their cash int. and the ranking page appears to be understating the portfolio value by $61,990.28. The dashboard page is understating the value by $9,080.20.

I did some calculations on wxyz's portfolio. The current value of all the holdings is $8,397,844.47. For 20 transactions the fee should be -$79. The performance page is showing $1455.06 on cash int. There were losses or gains on sales of stock APPL -$3270.40, UDOW $155.1289, and GIS -$.28969. (the gain/loss for UDOW and GIS is based on the average purchase price of $147.7752 and $37.81969 respectively). Losses on sales were $3115.56. The total losses plus commissions total 3194.56.
I think the balance on the dashboard should be fairly close to correct. I get 10,000,000+cash int - gains/losses inc. commissions to be $8,391,626.50. The extra money showing on the dashboard could be dividends. Looking at the portfolio in terms of current market value plus cash int plus gains/losses from sales. I get $8,396,144.97.
Since I'm not sure how they are accounting for dividends or if they are even tracking dividends I can't be sure what to do with the transaction fees and cash int. but it looks to me like the value is correct +/- $5000. The value in the rankings would be incorrect.

The interest on $23 at 5.25% compounded continuously is only about 1/3 of a cent per day. That wouldn't cause any noticable error in the portfolio's value. I expect your right about the dividends being included in the cash int. I'm convinced that the dashboard is close enough to correct that I'm not going to spend any more time on it.

Uncle has a Trading port and a very high Risk as you can see in the standings. Top one day, the bottom the next. Long term Ports are rarely out of the Markets at a given point.

Did anyone have trouble with the game board today? I couldn't get it to open on my computer until after lunch. Then it worked fine!
