Murpath and Beachbum: You have mail.
Thanks again everybody. I really appreciate it. The stores were wiped out and the stock guy said there was a really popular coupon for it. I ended up pricematching at Walmart but they won't honor a raincheck from another store.

rubyslippers: I spent over 10 minutes yesterday trying to figure out how to get the Farm Rich Qs for you. There was no longer a place to enter a zip when I called up coupons.com. I looked for a link from LRWC, but I couldn't one.
So so sorry.
This restriction really bothers me. Here we go again - another small step that is making things more difficult for couponers to even get the coupons they need to stockpile, to say nothing about the like coupon usage restrictions that we are seeing on more and more coupons.
As we all know, a lot of the coupons made available in the inserts are regional. Manufacturers are targeting a certain demographic to entice them to buy their product. If you belong to a group like ours, you can get the coupons even if you're not in the targeted demographic. Obviously, manufacturers aren't too happy about that as evidenced by this recent change on coupons.com.
As I have constantly "nagged": when you can get a freebie, especially on a non-perishable that you use regularly, don't hold back. And hold on to as much as your storage space will allow before you sell any more product. How many people sold their razors thinking we'd be able to get them as MMs forever? Even the FREE razor deals have been few and far between. This month I was thrilled to see a MM razor deal (the first one on quality razors in three years for me) so I added more to my stockpile, of course!! ;D

I actually had more fun shopping this week at shoprite than I have had in a while. Aside for the packages of Sorrento cheese that I got for a buck each I got a lot of other stuff. The hightlights to me are. 10 cans maxwell house coffee (10.5oz) $8.60 total after cats. 8 10pks capri sun drinks $9.80 total after cats. 5 fig newtons and 2 oreo packages $9.38 after cats. I did it in 4 transactions and may even go back and do a couple more.

I really appreciate you trying. It must've been a popular Q in our area because of the sale this week. I figured out how to change the zipcode. I hit on the local tab at the top of couponsdotcom and then hit coupons after that. It's not as easy to change zipcodes as it was before, but it can be done. I agree with your view of stockpiling and I've been trying to do that at the grocery stores, especially with the rolling catalinas. I was able to get cans of tomato sauce at Meijer for $.20 a can and I had used up all of my tomato sauce as of last week, so I know how important it is to stockpile your favorite items. My pantry took a big hit this past week as I went crazy in the kitchen and canned fruit will be something I will be looking for. Meijer had their canned vegetables 3 for $1.00. The greeter told me one man bought 2 shopping carts full of vegetables.

I love coupons right now. So a couple weeks ago there was a .30 off printable for yogurt and .50 yogurt. I was only able to print three. But when I got there, there was only one left so I got it and a rain check. Normally they only double up to the cost, not over but it did not like to scan so they had to manually do it, and that overrides the cap so I got .60 off. Today, I went back with my rain check and another coupon to get tuna ($1 off 2). They had manually put it in again, so I spend .80 for two tuna cans (normally $1 each) plus two yogurts and I got 32 gas points for it (10 points per coupon plus a point per dollar), and if I get 100 points I get .10 off my gas. I am at 79 points and have till beginning on Nov to build up my points. I love deals like this

I don't know if the one she wanted is restricted to certain zip codes or is no longer available.

I got back from CVS over an hour ago:
$32.00 (8) Pantene $14.97 (3) CVS Bathroom Tissue 12-pk @ $4.99 ea. (rain check) $ 2.88 (3) Dawn $49.85 $ 3.29 Sales Tax $53.14 Subtotal -10.00 $10/$50 -10.00 in EBs - 2.00 (2) $1/2 Pantene -27.96 (4) BOGO Pantene (auto-deduct) - .50 (1) $.50/1 Dawn (I thought it was my last one) $ 2.68 OOP --> $10EB
I needed more Pantene like a hole in the head, but buying it was a way for me to get FREE bath tissue. It was REALLY risky because my daytime cashiers will not auto-deduct, but I was pretty sure that the night crew would.
Rinse and repeat for the next transaction with a few slight alterations, but basically the same thing.

It is amazing what a short quick trip actually costs. Ran to the library on Sat. It is 4 mi rt. At the price I am paying for gas that trip cost me nearly $1. I am going to have to be MUCH more aware of this and NOT do as many short runs but put everything into my main shop/errand days. That probably means I will not be able to get the turkey bacon at WAG this week because if I do not go as soon as they open today they will be OUT. I would be real surprised if any of my 3 local + 3 other on travel route stores even start today w/more than 4-6 on hand and they NEVER get more sale items on truck day.
As I read some online bloggers I am seeing some FANTASTIC prices listed for Walmart. I just do NOT see it because: My stores are always higher, sometimes 20-50% higher I hate shopping at Walmart-not because of their employment/purchasing practices but because the parking lots are impossible between 8am and 10 pm, aisles are frequently blocked by carts/pallets/employees restocking shelves, cashiers are CLUELESS regarding the corp price match and coupon policy and frequently cannot read what a coupon says let alone the corp policy. Send for a mgr and you will get someone promoted to front end supervisor who STILL has NO CLUE. Wait another 10 min for whatever asst mgr bothers to respond.
When DD2 was in school in DeKalb 10 years ago the Walmart there was GREAT. Guess it was because most of the cashiers and service desk people were PT workers and FT students or spouses of U teachers. They knew their rules and could read.

CVS ALERT: THE LIMIT ON THE BUY $30/GET $10 EBs IS TWO (2)!! I realized after I got home that even though I bought over $30 worth of product, I had not reached the limit. And since I knew I had a couple of cashiers that would allow the auto-deduct, guess what I did. Ya, go ahead and guess. ;D You betcha. I headed back to CVS to do another deal with the TP on one card because I had another $10/$50 on it. And I bought just enough on the other card to hit the $30 mark to get another $10 EB. I was able to stockpile (8) 12-pks of bath tissue for almost nothing. Now all my EBs are rolled. I don't have to go back to CVS for another 30 days. I doubt that will happen. ETA: I lied. I just realized I have an EB from early last week that expires 10/23, so I get three weeks off if I want.

I'm trying to get back into the game as my stockpile is running out quickly and I have more time now to follow sales. Also, is the $4.88 on Bounty (my local CVS ad) a good price? I really hate that itsy bitsy tiny $.25 coupon - it makes me angry.

I'm sorry, after last night, I ended up taking a puppy dog nap. The BOGO Pantene (auto deduct) is a BOGO coupon for Pantene from the 8/26 SS. WRONG WRONG WRONG!! THEY ARE FROM THE 9/16 SMART SOURCE. DON'T BELIEVE A WORD THAT I SAY!!Instead of these coupons beeping for the cashier to enter the price of the item, they deduct the maximum amount automatically when scanned. The only time they beep (at CVS) is when they exceed $10, the maximum amount allowed without a manager override. Personally, if I was out of paper towels, I'd certainly try to work the $4.88 into my $30 scenario, but I think I'd wait to stockpile at that price until I had excess EBs to spend or a $/$$ to help bring the price down, etc. HTH

Thank you Dancin! I may still have the 8/26SS at home, I'll have to check.
I have about 8 rolls of towels left so I may just do one of the Spend $30/get$10 scenarios so (a) I have some paper towels and (b) I have a starting point for EB's.
I don't seem to get any good Q's from CVS in my email or on my card anymore.

**NM, I just bought some on eBay. Hopefully they arrive this week I wasn't paying much attention due to the fact that I really do not need more shampoo here, but the overage would be GREAT! I could probably leverage that into some more cheap/free diapers. Or TP, or deodorant. I am teaching SIL how to do this in a couple weeks and I am sure they would love to have some of my extra stash too. Since I have been out of it for awhile, how do these BOGO coupons work? Just hand them over like normal, they scan, and the register auto-deducts? The cashier doesn't have to do anything else? If the coupons don't beep the cashiers here won't pay any attention that its a BOGO (which is good for me if its giving overages)

Do the pantene qs expire today? YES they do expire today so I don't know why someone would beseeling them at this late date!! Can you cancel the order? CRAP CRAP CRAP - no they don't!! They don't expire until 10/31. I didn't sleep last night and my brain in mush. SO SO SORRY!!And did I say that not all stores auto-deduct. It's one of those YMMV type of things. Yes, you hand them the Q, they scan it, and the max BOGO amount on the Q comes off automatically. IF you have $/1 or $/2 MC to piggy back with the BOGOs, make sure you give those FIRST. It has been reported that if you give the BOGOs first, the register will beep at the $/X. Also, make sure that you have enough product to cover all of the coupons that you're using. This week people are using (4) BOGO Pantene to buy (8) bottles. There is also a $1/2, but you can ONLY USE (2) of them on the (4) bottles you're buying to be able to use the BOGO.

When I scan them at the red machine, I don't get the same good coupons that I get on the two cards that have been active for quite a while.

WOW, dancin, that is excellent!!!!!!!!
Question on the Pantene - if its auto-deducting, can I apply the overage towards Pampers diapers since they are P&G products in the same sale?

WOW, dancin, that is excellent!!!!!!!! Question on the Pantene - if its auto-deducting, can I apply the overage towards Pampers diapers since they are P&G products in the same sale? sam: It's a MM, but there's not really any overage unless you're using a $10/$50 and have some EBs to roll. The Pantene is $4/ea. Let's say you buy (8) to get the $10EB: $32.00 (8) Pantene - 2.00 (2) $2/1 9/30 P&G (GIVE FIRST) -27.96 (4) BOGO Pantene (auto-deduct @ $6.99 ea.) $2.04 OOP --> $10EB (for spending $30 on select P&G products) Then, obviously, you could take the $10EB and roll that into the Pampers to get another $10EB (because the Limit = 2). $27.00 (3) Pampers $.96 Dawn $27.96 + $2.00 that is tracking from the Pantene = $29.96 $27.96 -10.00 EB - 1.00 $1/2 P&G 9/30 $16.96 plus tax for (3) Pampers --> $10EB I don't know if that's a good deal for Pampers or not, but it will get you back in the game. HTH ETA: Boy, diapers have gotten EXPENSIVE!! Come on P&G. $1/2 for diapers. Really?

WOW, DM, K to U when I recharge. Thank you for working up that scenario! That is exactly what I will do on each card. I have 4/20 and 10/50 to use. Anything around $5/pack is good for me. I have some EB to roll into it as well. Now I just need to wait for my pantene coupons to get here. Are the hair sprays and stylers $4 as well this week? Or is it just the shampoos and conditioners?
Yeah, diapers are crazy expensive now. I won't buy unless they are on sale like this. I can get Aldi diapers if I need too (the couple packs I have bought work ok). And their wipes are OK too. But I prefer Huggies & Pampers if I can wheedle the prices down low enough.

I would never! Especially since I've been too lazy to go back to CVS for a second go round with the $10/$50. Think I'll go tomorrow evening when the young guys are working the register.
