I was exposed to several ex-cons who were related to my ex-step dad. All they wanted to do was party, mooch off the women in their lives, screw each others women, stab each other over women, money and drugs, try to bum money off ex-step dad and try to get into my late mom's pants as well as my own. It's a miracle neither of us were raped. So, the answer's no. Oh, a few also stole from us but we didn't have much at the time anyway, so it wasn't that big a deal. I'll never forget about the time one of step dad's older brothers bragged to me about working as a supermarket manager and ripping his boss off. Said it was the best job and the best boss he'd ever had. In case anyone's wondering, mom only met her future mil once before she married step dad and didn't know a damn thing about the rest of his family. Otherwise, the marriage never would have happened.

Not in a trillion years and I don't care about the reason/excuse.

Well, l've never met any lady that I was interested in who has been in prison...but I suppose it would depend, wouldn't it. Avoiding taxes, I could live with that, killing a significant other in their sleep...would keep me up at night.
Also, there is a big difference between the county jail...you know, a night or two for being stupid, and prison. Prison is serious stuff.

Not a chance in hell. Out of curiosity- how and where does one meet someone who has been to prison? You could probably meet quite a few up in ND. I know when I worked offshore felons had special markings on their TWIC card to indicate it. I only saw a few that way, but given that offshore gets the cream of the oilfield crop, the percentage is probably higher on land. I just don't ask the background of every hand I work with, since I'm not the one hiring them.

"Has" been to prison? or "IS" in prison? If they're no longer in prison, they're out in society - so technically you could meet them anywhere and not know they're an ex-convict unless they (or someone else) told you.
The only way you might know otherwise, is if you were hiring them - and it was a question on the application form.
