You have a point. After all, there is a character on the show named "The Fat Conductor". He has a real name I can't remember, but he is always referred to as the fat conductor.
ETA: the sad thing is that I remember that fact from when I was 8 years old, but I can't remember much more recent, and more important things.

Hahaha, indeed. Right now I'm burning a lot of energy moderating. But I've got plenty to spare for my smoothie gals.

www.bargainbooks4kids.com/images/fat%20controller.jpgHe is so not fat. At least not by guy standards... he's "Rubanesque" at best. But this has given me an idea for a corporate teambuilding activity. You put someone's name up on the wall and everyone writes down a term for him or her, puts them in a hat, and then you pick one. And they are then stuck with whatever comes out. Suzy can be "the angry lawyer," Brad can be "the portly accountant," Sam can be "the slutty receptionist."

What if Sam is a guy? ETA: The way parents name kids these days, Suzy could be a guy too AETA: ...:::"http://www.bargainbooks4kids.com/images/fat%20controller.jpg":::... In one of those sites that shows newspaper ads from the 50s, there was one for a kids fat camp. It defined fat for girls as 9 and above. I can't remember what it was for boys, but definitely something that today would be mild. AAETA: IIRC, the green engine is named Percy? Yet I can't remember my Aunt's birthday

"Slutty" doesn't necessarily mean girl, yanno.
As far as fat, I still get twitchy when I watch Stand By Me and everyone refers to Vern as "the fat kid." He barely qualifies as chubby.

I know that, I just mean there are better words for slutty guys. Adulterous, lecherous...
ETA: Kind of like how "douchecanoe" can work for a female, but is much more geared towards a male.

...rake... And that made me think of the Jeopardy clip where the biggest all time winner (Ken something?) went to answer a question about a garden tool that also meant a "something" person (can't remember the term) and he said "hoe". It was supposed to be "rake".

It's also more fun to call them whores too.

There was a document on TV a few years back that had some men on TV claiming that they remember their circumsions as babies and that it has scarred them for life! NO JOKE! I saw this! I don't believe one word of it! I call it bullshit myself I call bullshit too! It's just a bunch of attention seekers!

Well, that's your opinion. I don't think the brain is developed enough to hold onto, or recall, those memories. If that's the case, then aborted babies can also feel pain!! I suppose they felt the pain of having the cord cut also Exactly!

I sure as heck don't remember mine. Maybe their parents got lazy. The circumcision was something they kept meaning to get around too, but kept putting off. Then they finally got it done when the kid was three and insist they did it to them as newborns. Even three is a stretch. I don't think I have any memories from that age either.

Because you aren't allowed to talk about that because of the strong opinions of people in power, but mutilation and circumcision is fair game, and even some religionHaving a seriously creepy-looking baby as your profile pic? Also a-okay.

Are we still talking about the picture, or the actual baby? Loop agreed to put mine up, but she kicked them out nine months later. Said they kicked and stomped too much and the neighbors complained.

someone of the same standing as you. if you have nothing to add, let it go. -chiver mod Oh get off it, you are over stepping your athority again Who are you to say what is worth adding? get off what? you resurrected a testy thread (that wasn't so until you showed up, I might add) that hasn't had a new post in over a day......whose prior posters have been on the board during today. if they all had anything new to contribute, they would have been posting in here. this thread is now being locked. if you have a problem with that, contact moonbeam. -chiver mod
