South SF Bay Area, CA verrip Are you sure that is where you're at? Remember your parrot head brother just took a header off the stage.

Nearly 9 inches of snow fell yesterday from 5 - 9 PM last night. Took me over 4.5 hours to get home from work!

Yuck! We had about 2" or so in the early morning, and even that made driving pretty slow going.

Yeah I really don't like you moon. I'm in that 8-10 inch area. Temps were hovering right around the freezing mark today.

Maryland. I only got 2" on the Eastern shore, but the Baltimore area got 8 - 10". It warmed up some too, about 33. :oI was stuck on 695 for 4.5 HOURS last night. Left Timonium fair gounds at 5:30 PM. Got stuck near the Loch Raven exit... Thanks to corn chips and nochos, I was able to get moving again. From Loch Raven to WhiteMarsh no plowing had been done. Talk about fun manovering!

I wondered if you were around DC. 695 was fab last night when I came home at 3pm but that was before the freezing rain. Way better than it was Wed morning. It was just rain last night when I was out.

Check out the WBAL web site. Or if you heard about the humdinger taffic jam around the 695/83 area... I was in FRONT of it!And it took me 4.5 hours! I called my boss when I got home and told her I'll be late tomorrow! www.wbaltv.com/weather/26641464/detail.htmlUnfortunately someone died in a MVA in Parkville the next day. It's beleived she was speeding www.wbaltv.com/news/26637102/detail.html

We're supposed to get some really dense pea-soup fog here tonight. I've seen it reduce the visibility to a couple hundred feet and less, I hope that doesn't happen. Thank the gods I no longer commute any further than from my bed to my home office.

This is where I get my weather info from: www.wunderground.comI find them more accurate than sites which draw info from the National Weasel Service, as they have thousands of independent monitoring stations all over the country which are far better at tracking micro climates.

Our weather? Too much snow. Followed by shoveling. With no place to put it. Smurfing cold. Rinse and repeat.

Started out chilly for Houston, about 34. Day was sunny, probably reached 65. Everyone's whining about rain forecast on Sunday, the day of the Houston Marathon. My thought is if you want to run 26 something miles, get over it-the weather is the least of your problems.

Ooooohh, that reminds me. To the jogger running down 135 this morning. You know, you, me the plows and the snowbanks. WTE were you thinking? !!! Icy as shit. Only 1/3 of the road was clear and you had to run in the middle of it. Maybe next snowstorm you could stay home and jog in place? K. Thanks.

Central NJ - 30 degrees - just got 18 inches of snow - I'm VERY happy and still LOVE and prefer winter months over summer months. right now there is an SUV on fire and exploding while fire guys are trying to put the fire out. wonder how it started?

I am right around the corner from you cropchick. Live in the Hunt Valley area. We got a total of 13 inches. Lost power for quite a while and shoveled for 4 hours! I can hardly lift my right arm today I am done for this Winter. Please no more!

Maddawg - I'm in Sacramento too. It has been so damn foggy the last few days that I passed my office twice one morning because I couldn't see the entrance from the street. I was driving back and forth like an idiot with my blinker on!

Chilly today. I should have brought a jacket. Supposed to warm up to the low sixties once the fog burns off though.

Ten degrees warmer and no fog. We're just far enough off the coast to stay out of most of that crud.
