Maybe they are both crazy. She claims they are scenarios out of her movie script. The camo/bloody gown thing seems a little strange. Like wouldn't you ask some more questions if she was suddenly going somewhere in camo? She doesn't look like the type of girl who regularly runs around wearing camo. The whole thing just seems strange.

And now I hear Kyle is getting sued by a former director of competition. Sheesh, between all this lawyering, their respective seasons will be in the toilet faster than you can say, "Boogity, boogity, boogity!" motorsportstalk.nbcsports.com/2015/01/12/nascar-report-says-kyle-busch-motorsports-sued-by-former-competition-director/

I can't stand either one of them. And I'm especially disturbed by the fact that Kurt has been running around my metro area for years. Maybe with all the jerks in the area I didn't notice one more lol.

DH and I are going to Daytona next month (I have a swim meet, and he's going to the track). I told him, "No Busch brothers photos, memorabilia, etc. None. Nothing. Zero. I will burn it if you buy it."

It's called "Pocket Commando". it's about halfway down the page in the article. blackflag.jalopnik.com/kurt-buschs-ex-was-terrible-at-keeping-her-assassin-gig-1679384840/+marchmanAnd the pic of her with the assault rifle in the link is the one SHE picked to represent her in a Nascar wives & gfs article. Bitch be crazy!

I also wouldn't buy tickets to the Atlanta race. It's the 1st weekend in March. I can watch the weather delayed non-race coverage at home from my warm couch just fine thank you. Cause racing on the FIRST weekend in March, in Atlanta.....

If I go anywhere in March its the Caribbean. I saw a clip of that video on the news last night. Apparently she's also a defense contractor?

No word from any company she worked with on whether it's true. She's the CEO of Frontline Defense Systems, a subcontractor that works with the military. Her charities, the Armed Forces Foundation and the Infinite Hero Foundation, are not listed in Charity Watch, the best worldwide source on charitable organization information. That's not a bad thing, but I cannot find anything good finance-wise about these charities, either. No info about their business practices, how much they raise, what percentage actually goes to charity vs. what goes to administrative costs, etc. I find a lot of their own PR out there, but nothing that gives me any idea of accountability. Oh, and what's up with you? Don't want to risk a little snowball fight at a NASCAR race in March, eh?

Apparently Frontline represents 20 different businesses. They had 13 different contracts starting in 2006 for a total of $2.6 million which is chump change in defense contracting. After searching I think she's the CEO because you get the double bonus of small business and woman owned.
I could stay at home and get in a snowball fight in March! No need to travel.

So what's happened since 2006, besides her divorce, custody battle and playing footsie with a NASCAR driver? OK, she wrote a book and made a documentary, and spent eight years working on a screenplay. Doesn't sound exactly like anyone's idea of a hot date. And what I have found online about Frontline and the Hero Foundation does not mention her much at all (other than in the context of her recent whackadoodle episodes). It's mostly other people doing the talking and working and fundraising. Until she latched into Kurt and got herself out in front of the cameras and all of a sudden, she's the hotshot. I have nothing good to say on either of them, but she may just fulfill the threat she allegedly made to several people: that she plans to hurt Busch and bring him down. It will certainly affect the start of his season, in a civil court, if not a criminal court. She sounds very much like a woman scorned.

While I'm not necessarily a Kurt fan, I do think this whole thing is a crazy woman scorned. She took credit for helping rebuild his career & image. She connected him with the wounded warriors that he used to help revamp his image. She micro-managed his image do-over. She orchestrated & managed his doing the double last year.
I think he dumped her & she decided that she wasn't going to be dumped without erasing all the work she had done to make him "likeable" again. She helped build & play up the whole "Outlaw" thing he pushed the past couple of years.
I think that she's playing up on the traits that got him into trouble before. He got fired from Rousch for being popped for a DUI in Arizona (he was gone anyway, but he got canned 2 races early). He got into trouble for his bad attitude & his acting before thinking when in a pressure situation. He's well known for his outbursts when things aren't going his way. She's playing up on all of those things. "he has a drinking problem...he has an emotional problem...he has an anger problem". She's hit all the highlights of his shit.
I think she's trying to put his racing career back to where it was before she took over "handling" him. IE: destroy him. I think the best thing he's done is keep his mouth shut outside of the court testimony.

I feel really bad for her little boy, who is old enough to figure out that his mom's a nut case at this point. But Kurt needs to grow up. And either find a solid woman in his life, or do the Tony Stewart thing and just stay away from women.

She probably is out to get him. Too bad he got tangled up with her. Not that I think he's playing with a full deck. Hopefully the courts will end this nonsense soon.

And on another, pretty much expected note....Jeff Gordon is done after this year. Not a big surprise, given the state of his back and his age. He also said not long ago that he wanted to retire young enough to watch his kids grow up while they were young. So...who gets his seat at Hendrick? My edumacated guess would be Chase Elliott. One more year to give Brad Kesolowski that parting gift he deserves. www.wptv.com/sports/jeff-gordon-to-retire-as-full-time-driver-after-2015-season

Eeewww! Who got that close to him? He's had a GF for awhile. No telling why that's the case. I was looking for a photo of her that I saw earlier. She's pretty typical wifey/GF material - young and blond and skinny. Oh, and the spawn is a girl child. Poor thing. Hope she looks more like mommy, at least.

Testimony from the Kurt case was released today. Nascar has now suspended Kurt indefinitely. Chevy has cut all ties with Kurt.
Looks like not only did she get her restraining order, but she got his career. Chevy cutting ties IMO is the death hammer. They won't support him in one of their cars on any team. Isn't this also Kurt's "3rd strike"? He really could be done.

I knew someone was gonna have to go at Hendrick for Chase. I just thought it would have been Kasey. Jeff retiring while his kids are little doesn't surprise me. He's half owner of the 48 car, so he won't ever be hurting for cash. I knew Mr Hendrick wasn't going to let Chase slip thru his fingers.
I just think it was tacky that at first, Richard Petty said no to letting him have the #9. He offered it a few days later (I'm guessing after some backlash), but by then, the Chase to the 24 had been announced.
did you see the Denny & Danica dust up? I would have so nut punched him when he put his arm around her & said that no one had her back like he did. Is he gonna try to hug Keslowski next time they tangle? condescending little prick. But I've never been a Denny fan. He's a whiny ass.
WooHoo for Junior winning his Duel! From chatter about how he could miss the race (slim, but chatter none the less) to starting 3rd! when Gordon was pushing him I felt like he was golden. Gordon is on the pole, he had NO incentive to pass Junior for the lead/win.
Now onto Sunday & the 500!

Atlanta is quite desperate to sell tickets. They've called my friend at least 5 times. Last time the offer included free pit passes. He told them we just happened to be in town last year for something else at the time of the race and to quit calling.

Kyle Busch, compound fracture to right lower leg & mid foot fracture to his left foot after today Nationwide (Xfinity) race. Matt Crafton to run for him in the 500. Early estimates, out 4-6 months. Kurt Busch had his 2 appeal hearings this afternoon/tonight. Nascar agreed to rush it thru for him. He lost both appeals. Regan Smith to run the 500 in the 41. This after Regan did a flip and roll in the Xfinity race today. Nascar had a Brazilian this weekend. No Busch for the 500! Daytona Speedway is currently (like seriously RIGHT now as I type) is adding tire barriers & foam barriers to the wall Kyle hit today & the wall Harvick hit last weekend. And on Monday they will begin to install safer barriers to ALL walls around the racing surface. It's also expected that Monday Nascar will announce the same requirement for all tracks. Safer Barriers anywhere a car can come into contact at race speed. Pit road being the only exception (that I know of at this time). Here's Kyle's wreck today. He's in the 54 that shoots off to the left. Hits the inside wall at full speed. Suspected stuck throttle (which isn't supposed to happen anymore with new tech).

Yep! Gordon has the pole, Jimmie 2nd and Junior won his Duel, so he will start 3rd. 1-2-3 for Hendrick. Kyle would have started 4th, but his back up driver will have to start at the back. Same with Regan taking Kurt Busch's place. To the rear.
I'm hoping to see Danica whoop up on Denny again. If Tony will sit on Denny while Danica kicks him, I'll take that. If I can't have that, I wanna see Denny try to hug the next competitor he wrecks. Gonna have to find a new bad guy to hate on since Kyle won't be around for awhile. I'm thinking Keslowski & Logano are the front runners for the position. And to see Dale Jr win his 3rd Daytona 500! GO DALE JUNIOR!!!!!!!
My aunt & uncle and a couple of friends are coming over to watch. Cooking ribs, twice baked potatoes, tortellini salad, baked beans, grilled corn, bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers, stuffed mushrooms, chips & dips.
The Narwhals have become the commercial that Nascar is going to kill us with this season. EVERY commercial break we get Narwhals. by half way I'm screaming "MAKE IT STOP MAKE IT STOP PLEASE DEAR GOD MAKE IT STOP!"

The Indy race in Brazil will not happen; as far as I know, no new sponsor was found to replace the one that dropped out. I may be missing some news on that, but as of now, I have not heard of a sponsor stepping up. I just checked Indycar.com and ESPN. Still showing as cancelled.
I'm going out on a limb here (and someone is bound to saw it off), but suspending Kurt Busch is exactly what is XGF was hoping for; she told people she wanted to ruin him and his career, and it indeed looks like she is having her way.
I'm the last person (given my professional background) to defend an abuser. And I'm the last person to defend either Busch brother for anything they do. But Kurt was not charged, convicted or sentenced in a criminal court. The family court of Delaware issued a civil injunction based on evidence. No one saw what happened between the two of them. The physical evidence on her was completely insufficient to back up her "slamming my head against a wall" claims. I'm not suggesting Kurt isn't a jerk; his temper, like that of his brother, is a known issue. But Driscoll's divorce proceedings (and ongoing child custody case) show that she is nowhere near the innocent little helpless victim she makes herself out to be. I think she is a woman scorned and not happy about losing her meal ticket and her soapbox/pedestal; she was an important person and put her causes out there nationally because of her affiliation with NASCAR and Busch. And I think this may end up backfiring on NASCAR.
Let's face it: neither of these two should have been with the other. Both have issues. But she's out to ruin someone for life, and end their ability to earn a livelihood as they know it. At that point, you've crossed a line, and you better be able to provide a lot of irrefutable evidence to back up your claim. Because God help her if she can't. Not only will NASCAR nation come down on her (love them or hate them, the Busch brothers have their fans) but women's rights groups will, too. Because one "victim" who lies screws it up for the others who try to tell the truth.
