If anyone is heading out towards a Walmart this week, they have Cutter insect repellent for $1.97, use the $1.00 coupon from 5/20 RP, makes it .97 insect repellent. They also have on roll back, if you like Angel Soft 12 pack double rolls, (I think, 400 sq feet) for $5.37, use the .25 off one or $1.00 off two (5/20 RP) for some okay priced TP if you're low.If I was low, I'd be tempted. Wouldn't it be nice to get another freebie on TP? How are you gals holding up with your TP stockpiles these days?

Hound Alert: Chi-chi's salsa $.50 MQ's in todays SS. I'd really appreciate it for a sale where I can get these free. Also, anybody who has the Marzetti coleslaw dressing $.50 Q's from a couple of weeks ago. TIA! rubyslippers: I don't get my inserts until tonight, so I'll try to remember to check; but I've never heard of it.

A $.20/1 coupon will not entice me to buy anything. I read that a $.50/1 floss coupon was supposed to be offered. Did you get that one? I haven't gotten my inserts yet.

I got $1/1 floss, but looking at it, don't think it'll work for CVS this week. Coupon states Glide and that is not one noted in the ad. Will have to see what's tagged in the store. Bummer...

Slim pickings again. I need Shampoo and I'm giving up on much of free anything anymore.
I have the $3/2 Pantene coupons so I guess I'll go to WAGS and try to cobble together the P&G spend $25 get $5 RR. I also need some good quality batteries for my DS16 to take out to camp for 6 weeks so I'll throw some Duracells in to complete the deal.
*sigh* I feel sorry for the manufacturer of the next "free" or "almost free" deal that comes around. Most of us will be filling every free inch of our houses with stock.

RA today
RA had buy Venus Pro-Skin or Embrace 1ct for $9.99 get $4+UP. So, I bought one of each.
Venus ProSkin Razor Kit 9.99 Venus Embrace Razor 9.99 Choc. cherry 0.30 Tax 1.62 Total 21.90
-9.99 PG BOGO MC -10 +UP
OOP = $1.91
Expected to get back 2 $4 +UPs, instead I got 4 $4UPs.....! I looked at the cashier and she just shrugged her shoulders? Guess it's one of those glitches. If I get any more of the BOGO q's I'll probably do the deal again.
WARNING: New policy regarding +UPs rewards. You have to opt out to keep getting the paper UPs rewards printed on your receipt, otherwise you had to use the Load2Save options which puts the UPs onto your card. The date on the paper UPs that I got says that they can't be used til tomorrow. This meant I had to wait to do another deal. That's gonna be a pain if I want to immediately roll +UPs rewards on the same day.
My $3/1 BIC razor MCs expired today. I wanted to use them to get the BIC hybrid 2/$12 =>$3 +UP. But Noooooooooooo...can't use my new +UPs til tomorrow. Things are starting to get annoying....

Most of us will be filling every free inch of our houses with stock. Just wait, wait, wait very patiently. When there are good deals to be had, I stockpile; when there aren't, I welcome the break. Either way, I'm happy. ;D These days kind of remind me of the way it was back in the days when I first started getting multiple inserts (late 80s and early 90s). Sometimes I'd go a couple of weeks without a good deal and sometimes there would be 4 or 5 in one week. I loved the days when there were a barrage of great deals each and every week (it was a stockpilers dream), but I also have enjoyed stockpiling in a "more laid back way". It's not that we can't stockpile, it's just that we have to be a little bit more patient. It still works; it always has.

I got mine whenever there was a good sale, MQ's and I had rewards to use. I only paid tax. Toilet paper, laundry soap and garbage bags are the three things I never want to be without so I don't care how much I have, if the price is right, then it goes home with me.

Okay, I don't know who needs to finish up the $10 rebate for P&G right now (not the Covergirl one) but today at CVS I was able to get Venus razor, a 4ct pack, and a olay body wash, after 2 BOGO coupons, a $2 MQ and $7 in EB, for about $3.29 + $10EB back...then at WAGS I did pretty much the same thing except I had $10 in RR and i bought 2 .35 fillers and paid OOP $1.69 + tax and gained back $8 in RR!! I bought so much P& G stuff plus I still have the receipts for the Pantene deal from a few weeks ago, Im gonna be able to do the $10 rebate plus a special mothers day rebate where you spend $30 on P&G products, get back Febreze Home Collection set that consists of Flameless Luminary Lamp, 4 flameless refills, 2 batteries, and no spill wood diffuser, how cool is that? ;D At Vons, they have Just4U Fresh Express salad for .88, limit 2 plus there is still $2 coupons, so I was able to get 2 packs plus grapes (.98/lb) for .25! How cool is that?! and I bough 4 bottles of vodka for about $30 or so...to me, that is a great price..right now i am drinking Michelle Cosmo...basically all those bottles of Ocean Spray cran-raspberry I bought with vodka in it

The best deals were the items that were free after Single Check Rebate that you had a coupon for. The UPs program sure brought me into their store more often.... until they stopped stocking the shelves. Can you still cross UPs rewards between accounts or are they card specific now like EBs are at CVS? I had a feeling that once they started imposing limits, that might be the next shoe to drop.

I would be afraid that unless my fav cashier is there, another cashier might reduce it down.

I can't remember, have you already done the P&G rebate? If not, you could do that to lower your costs. But, I tend to be of the same mind as DancinMama. I would much rather you just buy a little shampoo to get you through, because there might be a good deal and you'd be kicking yourself then.

If I had rewards that I couldn't roll (or didn't like the rolling options), I would look for a good sale, matched with a high value coupon for laundry soap, toilet paper, paper towels, or Ziplocs. Those were always my "defaults" when I had to burn rewards because I could rarely get them for free otherwise and even paying sales prices was killer.

Is the wording the same on all 4 UPs? You must have gotten a different set of P&G coupons than I got where I live. For where I live, the BOGO for razor coupons is only on the disposables: "Buy one Venus or Daisy Disposables get One Venus or Daisy Disposables Free." Those are the ones that are $7.49 on the front page of the RA ad, and there's no UP with those. For the razors that you bought, the coupon that matches that from my inserts is the "Buy One Venus Cartridge, get one Venus Razor free." (And those cartridges are darned expensive.) So, personally, I couldn't replicate what you did, but maybe other people got the same coupon you did. I think there is a $2/1 any type of Venus razor in the P&G 5/13, though. Congrats on the double UPs!

This weekend I ran across the Grocery Game. Do any of you folks use that site to help you plan your shopping? It doesn't seem that expensive once the trial would run out, I'm just wondering if it's worth the couple bucks a week that it would cost.

No, you can get all of the info for free just reading here or a blog or two. I wouldn't pay any amount of money for it, personally.

There is a lot of BOGO razor coupons in the inserts :)so if they do the venus again next week at CVS, I will get more venus, this time for almost free bcuz of my $10 EB ;D Just be careful that you are not "double counting" your savings. Either count it when you earn the reward or when you spend it, but not both. I see a lot of people doing this, which over inflates your saving and true OOP.

My TP stockpile is ok, but getting low. I still have 2 of the large (I think 6 packs) of the better RA brand. It is really decent TP and the rolls last a long time. I think I have maybe one other 6 pack of another brand, and a few single rolls (5-6) of the Cottonelle with the Jonathon Adler covers that were free recently at cvs. I was just thinking I might use my $12 staples reward to buy some more TP and paper towels. There was a $5/25 for cleaning supplies in the ad this week, so, might be a decent deal with coupons.

Hound Alert: Chi-chi's salsa $.50 MQ's in todays SS. I'd really appreciate it for a sale where I can get these free. Also, anybody who has the Marzetti coleslaw dressing $.50 Q's from a couple of weeks ago. TIA! There was a .50/1 chi chi salsa in 5/20 inserts too. I might have a couple to spare. Let me know what else I could send and pm me your contact info.

Do you have CVS? I don't remember. Frugalsuz reported on her blog that the red machine was giving $2/1 any shampoo, conditioner, styler Q this weekend. Could get some decent deals if you got that. My stores have had blinkies for $1/1 Aussie.

SOOO much agree w/these responses. Whearabouts are your? Maybe one of us can point out a local blogger and there is always a full cup and hot coupon world. Today is going to be a heavy grocery/drug store shopping day. One of my independent stores runs a few Sun thru Tue specials every week. This week the item I want is chicken leg quarters for 0.59/lb. I have had the FREE Kraft Fresh Taste in the fridge for about a month. I REALLY want to try it – however, I do suspect it is a WASTE of $$ for the price (just a mix of bread crumbs, cheese & seasonings; something anyone con doe MUCH cheaper themselves). I need to hit at least one produce store, WAG & CVS too. I am trying to find some things at Jewel so I will go to 1 or 2 as needed. Also, since I did poorly in my choices at the library last week I should go there again. Since my BIG produce store gives a 5% senior discount on Wed I will wait to go there. Guess I will carry & have lunch w/my Dad today since there is NO way I can hit all these places in 2-2.5 hours.

I bought so much P& G stuff plus I still have the receipts for the Pantene deal from a few weeks ago, Im gonna be able to do the $10 rebate plus a special mothers day rebate where you spend $30 on P&G products, get back Febreze Home Collection set that consists of Flameless Luminary Lamp, 4 flameless refills, 2 batteries, and no spill wood diffuser, how cool is that? ;D Is that a printable rebate twinmama16?

It doesn't seem that expensive once the trial would run out, I'm just wondering if it's worth the couple bucks a week that it would cost. mourningcloak: WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME to the Grocery Challenge from me - dancinmama!! I am not speaking from personal experience because I have never tried it. I can't say whether or not it is better for someone who just wants to get the best prices on the things they need to buy from week to week vs someone who wants to stockpile the products that their family uses regularly, BUT we have had a couple of gals join us in the past (not sure who they were and whether they are still with us) who decided in pretty short order that it was not worth the money. We would LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to have you join us and see if what we do can save you money. We focus on using multiple coupons to stock up when products that our family will use are free or very cheap so that we never pay the regular and outrageous retail prices. The first step is finding family, friends, co-workers, or neighbors who are not interested in using coupons and asking them if they would give theirs to you. Three or four sets of inserts a week will get you started and if you find you could use more, you can expand from their. We also trade coupons among ourselves here, which has helped many of us build our stockpiles more quickly than we would have been able to on our own. If you let us know where you're from (what state or region of the country), one of the gals here might be able to recommend a good blog for the stores that you have available to you that will help you get started. All the gals on here are extremely friendly and will bend over backward to help you in any way that they can!!
