Trying to hang in there, i went in on Monday for my CT scan, waiting to hear the results tomorrow at dr appt before i do chemo, hoping for good news myself. Still very worried about my little sister, hoping like someone had mentioned that it is the worst case that could happen with her. I am also hoping that when my other sister comes back that she has some news.

ok good news first the tumor that was 6.0 x 4.7 cm is now 4.6 x 3.8 cm seems that several of the nodes have appeared to have disminished in size and some of the lymph nodes have since resolved. they have mentioned two other growths that have went down in size also. BUT there is one lymph node that has increased in size and has not improved. The doctor was impressed that i actually had MARKED improvement and not just holding my own on the nodes and tumors. He is thinking that 3 more rounds and we will see where i am at. I asked about surgery to remove the tumor and he said he will need to talk to a surgeon and see if that will work or if we will need to do radiation on that tumor. So overall i believe i received really good news.
Now the bad, my sister was unable to do her second chemo today, she was in such poor health that they took her to the hospital and she had to have blood transfusions again. Her chemo will only keep it from getting worse, she will not get cured she only does have from 6 months to a year to live. Of course they could be wrong and she could live for many years but they are not backing down that her cancer is not really treatable. So i have to get my butt down to see her in the next couple of months.
That is my update.
eta: chemo went without a hitch again, i am so thankful that i dont have any side effects except when i go in for my booster shot the day after, then all bones ache so bad as they are mass producing white blood cells. But it only lasts a few days then i am good for the next 2 1/2 weeks. I say a big thank you because i am basicly painfree.
