Patty, the only thing which sticks in my mind when i had my first chemo was that i slept through most of it, i and probably like may have to, had to have a cocktail of drugs prior to the actual chemo, one of those drugs was anti histamine, boy within 5 mins of that i couldn't keep my eyes open and slept for hours, they had to wake me up to see if i was feeling okay, so when people ask me about it i can only say that i was asleep. Her in doors and i wish you well for Thursday.

McDonald's kids burger is what you're jonesing for? You are not a sane woman! At least go for a Wendy's burger or something!

What i would really really like is a steak from the grill rare, some mushrooms in butter and garlic and some corn on the cob. When i can eat that is what i am going to have and maybe a baked potato also.

I know you will be getting the calories through the feeding tube but you can at least taste some good stuff. Keep the taste buds in practice.

Another update, Thursday i am going to get the feeding tube placed and they are going to do a MRI also so i will be busy at the hospital in the morning. I think I am just taking the whole day off so i can go home and chill after. The nurse said i cant use the feeding tube for 24 hours after it gets placed but after that i am good to go. i wonder if i can puree a burger and put it through the feeding tube ok i am just kidding but i would kill for a mcdonalds burger that comes in a kids meal. My thoughts are with you today Patio. Hoping all goes as well as it can!

Hi patio. I haven't met you either, but I am thinking of you. Please try to keep positive thoughts in your head. Refrain from research on the internet, as it can be overwhelming and confusing. Every case is different. Ask the questions you need to and if you have any doubt about the answers, seek another opinion. All my BEST to you.

Working is a good way to keep yourself distracted. Good for you, but be sure to get ample rest for the journey. You bring us hope, Rene. You bring us hope.

Patio..We are here for you, and those of us who pray, are praying continuously for you.. You are constantly in my thoughts which reminds me to take those thoughts and exchange them for small talks on your behalf, to God, and tell him how much Rene, needs You. Being scared of the unknown is quite sane.. You are such a trooper. Keep us posted.
