They really are a waste of money, but they're still nice to get! Bf buys me loose bunches so i can make floral arrangements.

I love getting flowers and sometimes DH gets me some, sometimes not. I suspect I'll be getting more of them as the kids get older. The little ones bring me dandelions already. |

I like flowers only in certain situations. I really appreciated them for the (brief) period of time I was in hospital after childbirty.
At my old workplace, DH used to send me flowers and I MADE HIM STOP!!! I worked for a large industry, deliveries were left at the front desk and my office was ~1/2 mile away. So if you got a delivery, I had to walk up there, pick them up and bring back to my office, then carry back out at the end of the day. Didn't want to leave in my car, they would quickly wilt. Not my thing.

Last time I gave DW flowers, the cats tried to eat them.  I have rose bushes in my back yard. Once I picked a rose off a bush and gave it to DW and she thought it was the sweetest thing for some reason, which was double awesome for me since I didn't have to spend a dime. ;D That was before she moved in though. I doubt it would have the same impact now. Curses. |
