I was pregnant with my first during Mother's Day. DH tried saying I wasn't a Mom yet, but my sisters were smart enough to tell him to at least get me one of those expecting mom's Mother's Day cards. And we went to brunch.  |

Get her a "mommy" card from the kids at least! SHEESH!!! Or have the kids make a card for Mom. I am sure she will appreciate that even more. Personally DH is not my kid so I don't expect or want anything from him. As far as the kids I keep saying I want them to clean their rooms and that can be my present. For some reason they keep laughing when I say it.  |

I told mine that I want one hug a day until next Mother's Day (they're 6&5, so it just might happen! ;D).

My son will grudgingly give me a hug for mother's day - teenager  . This year I am also planning to ask him to run the vacuum cleaner for me - I hate vacuuming. |

I noticed a huge crop of these wild flowers I like which are growing in the backyard. I am hoping DS1 picks those tomorrow for me. DS2 has to work and now since he has cash, maybe I will get a card or something this year that my own income didn't pay for... |
