and LMAO! I don't think it NEEDS to be pierced, but she does need to know where it is and show you how to get there. If a guy is in his 50's and still needs a roadmap to find it, he has no business having sex with anyone but himself.

And 100% of SF's stats come out of his ass. LMAO! The math here is confusing enough. 75% are frigid, but 90% are passive? Are the 75% included in the 90%. So, like 75% of women are passively frigid and the other 15% are ACTIVELY frigid? And this amorphous "large segment" that has no idea how to be stimulated.... does that mean many women, or just "big girls"? I'm puzzled. Yes, many women who date SF become frigid. The secure ones just run screaming. ETA: I'm too slow. You all have moved on to BFing?!

We didn't really work well either till a few weeks after I stopped pumping. I tried everything but my body didn't want to cooperate. It was really frustrating for both of us. When I stopped pumping we slowly picked up speed. It wasn't until I was completely dried up that I felt like my old self again.
It's one of the reasons why if I have another kid I don't plan on BF-ing. I never want to go thru that kind of hormonal mess again.

My wife hasn't been able to have sex since our second daughter was born... ... I need a hug. a hug or a "hug"? It's a reacharound. If he's gone that long without it I doubt you can even approach him from the front anymore.

Has anyone mentioned this has become a doxie thread??? Every time I come back it's grown by 10 pages, people giving circular arguments and then dissolves into off topic fun. Oh and they both are in the wrong but won't budge and won't go to counseling to figure it out. (ok maybe they will ... hopefully)

I'm sorry, I guess you do need a hug! No kidding. I'm glad I figured out what causes kids after the first one.

Is she breastfeeding? I had really low/non-existent libido while I was exclusively breastfeeding. It wasn't until I stopped pumping that the light switch turned on and my libido came back. I couldn't stand to be touched while I was BFing. Once I completely stopped, I started feeling like my old self. Can I touch you now??

We have tried as well... it just isn't all working together well. I think we had sex every other month when I was breastfeeding and DS was about 6 months old the first time we were able to get a successful attempt. Everything was just different down there. Sorry you are going through that. I feel terrible that we haven't even attempted to have sex since we found out I am pregnant this time. I just want to throw up all the time which is not conducive to getting it on.

Reading this thread if I hadn't gave birth to two kids I would think I was a guy. I breastfed both and I have never had of such problems. I also do something else every time I have sex. No sleep sucks for my sex drive though!!!

I breastfed both and I have never had of such problems.Lucky. I was going to cry because people including my OB kept telling me it was all in my head and I just had to work harder to get in the mood. Yeah because nothing makes me hotter than being told I am a crazy liar.

- I never had an "age" for wanting to be a dad, it has always been when I felt financially stable/ready. At 25 we were in no shape to become parents. - Either the money is going to go toward 401k or her student loans. Her current federal payments are based on 2010 when I was the only one working until september and gross income was 44k. 2012 we are looking at 100k+. - I am not making it an age thing, and I told her already: -> credit card gone -> my car loan gone -> at least 15k in savings - She knows my stance about her being a stay at home parent and it hasn't change in 4 years married: ain't gonna happen. Temporarily after the baby is born (up to a year) I am ok with, permanently? NO! Last week I reiterate it and she called me a selfish jerk. - my wife student loans payment are currently at about $650/month and before we went income based route they were $1,000/month. - We could survive on my income alone but that would require some serious cutbacks that my wife would just balk at; if she wants to maintain a certain lifestyle she will need to work for it. A person that shops at Pier 1, Crate & Barrel, Pottery Barn and throwing herself an hors d'oeuvres / small bite party this Saturday will not be happy with the lifestyle a 52k/year income would provide with a kid thrown in the mix. Total costs for the party is about $400 so far but her mom is covering it so I am not concerned (girl only party/get together). Carl, but you keep moving the bar: you increase your 401k withholdings everytime extra money comes instead of "paying of debt and having $15K in savings. I can see how that woud look from Mrs. C's point of view -> "we'll never get there". Also, if you hadn't had this period of time earlier this year (late last year?) were you were on board with having a baby right then your position would be much stronger. I don't think that there is anyhing inherently wrong with what you are trying to do, but consistency -which is what you claim to have in your statements- is not your strong suit.
