I read MSN Refugees nearly every night - but I only post maybe 1x every 2-3 months.
Anyone else in the same boat?

I'm hit or miss. I read the posts, but don't often post myself unless things are calm at work.

I enjoy reading regularly but don't post too much. By the time I see something, the regular posters have usually already said what I would have said, only they've said it better or more cleverly. There are a lot of really sharp people here, so I enjoy reading what they post, but I can seldom think of anything particularly clever of my own to offer.

I pull up the boards numerous times throughout the day, but I usually only post in short bursts.

I've been a member of the original MSN boards since '00., and came over from there. I'm usually late to a thread and people have already posted what I would've said, so it's ends up that I just read.
Over the last few years I've also stumbled onto alot of blogs, on many topics that have held my interest far more than these boards do anymore...
The Internet is awesome...

I read daily (sometimes 2-3x/day) but don't post as often. Often what I'd say has already been said, or I'm tardy to a thread and the topic has evolved so much that it's too late to respond to the OP or a PP. Then there is the laziness issue - sometimes I just want to veg for a minute in front of the computer and it takes too much effort to type out a couple sentences. (I'd insert an emoticon here but they are missing? ) I love this board and I wish it had more activity. And yes I realize the hypocrisy of wanting a busier board but not posting myself as much. So I'm trying to make more of an effort to contribute. (Again, I'd have a emoticon here....where are they?)

That's me. I rarely post. LOL! Thankful not. You're one of the reasons I don't feel the need to post much. You've usually already said what I'm thinking. Keep up the good work.

I rarely post but this time I have to post to say: this thread is a perfect candidate to a slam called 'Non YM related threads'.

I read a lot more than I post. I never posted on the old MS Money board, but read it for 2-3 years. I decided to post when the boards moved, especially since the other forum I've been a dedicated poster on changed a lot in the last year or 2 and is no longer as relevant to me.
I don't post a lot because I do so from work - so I don't have the chance to post every 5 minutes - by the time I figure out what I want to post there's another 5 pages and someone's already said it, or it's evolved into a totally different OT post. Not that I mind those, they are entertaining, but who wants to read my take on someone's wedding when they've spent the last 3 pages reading about baby poop?
Also, I can't start new posts. I'm sure this is because I have an outdated version of IE at work, but I can't quite justify asking IT to upgrade my browser so I can surf the web. I have issues with other sites too, FB keeps telling me I need to upgrade my browser.

I actually post a lot more than I read. Reading is boring, posting random thoughts is a lot more fun

See what I mean? Someone already said what I was going to say, only said it better and more cleverly (so you didn't do too badly this time, dannylion). All I could think of to add was a "yeah that" emoticon. I'm useless. Funny thing is...in real life, people can't get me to shut up. Seriously.

I read every day, several times a day. I don't get a chance to post at work, so by the time I can at night, everything that I wanted to say has usually been said. I really shouldn't be on here now, the kids are getting hungry, laundry is calling, homework is due this weekend, etc. Oh well, it's Friday, what can I say? I've been around since the old MSN board about 2 years before we moved. I never even registered over there, I didn't have thick enough skin for that crowd. ;D

I am on everyday. I go through spells. I post a lot and then I realize that I'm not in the "in group" so I stop posting. And then I post. It's a horrible cycle. And that's how I am in RL. I talk and talk and talk. Then I am very very very quiet. Now I'm wondering what's wrong with me!

I read but seldom post because I am shy and feel my opinions are probably wrong Holy Cow! I just saw your post count and you don't post much considering you've been on YM for as long as I can remember. Your posts are so memorable that I would have guessed you posted a lot more. And I think many love you! How is your health BTW? Did you get your biopsy? Congrats on your weight loss! I recognize almost every person here but maybe 2. I'm not sure who that Miss T person is. Post more people and stop being so shy! No one will bite you unless you request it. ;D I was like some of you all when I first arrived in 2006. I think I finally started posting in 2007? Now you all can't shut me up. Most people may already say what you want to say but sometimes it's how you say it that stands out. I can read 5 posts that basically say the same thing, but one will be THAT's what they mean! or it's worded funnier and it's more enjoyable. Good luck to you all regarding jumping in more!
