I am doing great actually. My biopsy was negative and my blood pressure and diabetes are good, wound is healed. I don't need to see a doctor for two months then might get off all medicine.

I read the boards everyday but I seldom post, as like some posters have said by the time I am able to post what I was going to say has already been said.

Thanks Thyme and Mid - It's stable for now. I have full blown macular degeneration in my right eye and don't see out of that eye much at all. I've started developing it in the left and it's caused my vision to go totally out of whack. Everything is a little fuzzy on the right side and print looks wavy.

I'm very lucky that I have a wonderful DH who has taken on most of the housework and some of the cooking. When I do cook, it's more convenience food than I'd like, but I just can't see to judge foods anymore. And I love to cook! We've had a few disaster dinners in the past few months - ended up calling out for pizza or chinese. Oh well, it is what it is!

I've also been really lucky at work too. They've given me a soft phone (basically software on my computer so I can use my phone by dialing or answering calls from the computer and headset. It's great! I've gotten signed up for audio books and love that. I've always loved to read and really missed that, so it's been a godsend.

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I wanted to let you guys know why I don't post any more.

Sorry you are having problems Anne. I knew a few people with it and it is hard. My dad's sister had it and had a surgery but I don't think it helped much. She had to get right in someone's face then move her head around to see them. Mom's boyfriend has had it a few years but is still driving, he is taking vitamins for it and it seems to slow progression.

Maybe they will come up with some treatments or a cure in time to help you. Treat DH extra nice for all he has taken on.

With your name you will have a bunch of friends here on EE. Don't be too scared when they get real friendly just throw some chocolate and leave out some wine, it will distract them.
