Here's a funny thought Decoy. I've gotten a some regulars here on board with MT experiment. Funny how the noteable and obvious pumpers laugh at this, say it won't work, and are not particpating.

Funny thing is that many are quite excited about these results.

Here is another EXPERIMENT as to these PUMPERS,PAID POSTERS and DISINFO AGENTS. That is, they sure don't like to come around much when you stay signed in!

As to the Mid experiment. I like it, it will be interesting but irrelevant to the real world since it is just anecdotal information and not statistically valid to determine if there is really inflation. I am interested in seeing what the results are anyway.

That's silly to not thing inflation doesn't affect food prices. That's one of the biggest indicators. Grocery stores work on small margins, so a small price increase is reflected quite fast. Probably best place to see inflation. Not to mention EVERYONE EATS. I couldn't think of one better place to get good data on inflation than food prices.

Hey Steady
Welcome to the group. (unless you are an old time poster with a new name) By now you are getting the hang of how it works around here. Dont let it get to you. There is a lot of information on here, it just gets buried some times. Even old Decoy and Mid come up with something good once in a while.
Looking forward to you sharing some of your hard earned knowledge and investing and life experiences here on Market Talk.

I started MSN MT (before it got WACKED) since '02 i think (might have been '01). Seen it go through a lot of change. Added quite a bit to my own financial arsenal. Personally, I used to post semi-often, but when DAYS passed and I had to play catch-up with the posts, it just became easier to LURK. When the board turned into a personal attack venu, I lurked less ... but I try to at least keep semi-up to date, but weeding throught the muck and mire is difficult.
I gotta say though, that FrankI was a welcome site when he came to the old board. His guarded advice made me a TON of money. I also did quite well with some metals. I've made good decisions and not so good ones, but hey, as long as the the trend continues up, I'm a happy camper.
As my my name implies ... steady as she goes
