If I am passing a cvs and have the b1g1f coupon on the deod I may still do that but I am still not sure. I will have to think about it. I wouldn't do the deal unless your deodorant stockpile is dangerously low and/or you are brand loyal to Speed Stick. Speed Stick has been on sale for $1 (without coupon) a couple of times at CVS in the last year and was completely free after EB and coupons in the last 6 months. Remember, patience is the name of the game. ETA: Another strategy would be to try to get a rain check and see if a better deal comes up before the coupon expires.

QUOTE: Leanna- I'm glad he doesn't use coupons. One less person competing. That was my first thought too.
Dancin Some time back I know you asked us for our favorite grocery/shopping web sites & blogs. Is that in your ‘handbook’ or otherwise available for newcomers? Might want to post a link. Just an FYI: Chi-town cheapskate has NOT posted in >2 weeks. No mention of vacation or pregnancy so no clue what is going on w/her.
I tried the strawberry lemonade Refresher Sun. Didn’t realize/or respond as an energy drink. Like the flavor BUT no waaaay would I spend $1.49. I only buy canned soda when it is 0.25/can or less. I am happy drinking coffee, water and/or white wine.
Mspt 5/13 Refreshers at WAG-That just means I will have to spend 30 minutes explaining to a cashier how s/he CAN take a $1 coupon on a .99 item and how to do it. AND, I’ll have to hit multiple stores and do multiple training session to use my coupons. Good thing I have 5 I pass at least 2x/week.
Had a good run at Albertson’s (Jewel) on Sun w/the doublers coupons they had in the Sun paper. According to the receipt I saved 81%. Got ground turkey, OJ, Ragu, fruit, and 3 bottles of soda (2 Dad, 1 me). Had store coupons for the meat & fruit. Had manufacturers coupons for everything else but the Ragu but it was cheaper than I have seen in forever. Only the meat & fruit were needs but the rest were nice to haves. However, I did forget 2 items (kitty litter & deoter) so I will go back when I hit the produce store on Tue.
I also have a BIG Meijer list IF my store follows the natl ad-every item w/coupons.
Quite a few people must be complaining about the always OOS issues at WAG on cheap, free & RR items. There was some discussion Sun night on a blog I follow and one suggestion was what I learned: if you have multiple stores check them all out to find a good one. I have done this and it generally works. Its just a shame that store is NOT one I pass regularly compared to the 5 stores do I pass multiple times/week.

The last time I tried, I couldn't get it to work. Has Chi-town posted on any other threads? I hope she decides to return, but there have been numerous people over the years who have posted a time or two and then fallen off the face of the earth. Back in the MSN days, I can't tell you the number of people who would send me their email address to get the handbook and then never post.

I got free ones last week at CVS, and I have what feels like a lifetime supply after only 4 weeks of couponing, so I this is an easy pass. What I do need are razors, and I think I can do something at CVS with the $5 EB deal on Gilette and the $3 MQ. Will check when I grab the colgate tomorrow! The cheapest Venus in the blue package is 7.79 for some and 8.29 for others and is giving the $5 EB. Use the $3 MC, and you have a free or nearly free razor. Limit one, though. My $3 MC says it is for 1 razor and 1 cartridge...I have a $1/1 MC, and my CVS usually has the blue razors for $6.79. But I'll have to go check it out first.

Holly: the refreshers coupon is FREE up to 1.49, so no cashier hassle.... In CA the maximum value was $2.39. It's nice of Pepsico to take cost of living into account.

I agree! I do the My Coke Rewards and when I order the free 12 pk. q's, the value is max $4.99. Great if on sale but I would love to use them when Safeway has the buy 2 get 3 free sale. That one usually includes Pepsi so I buy two diet coke w/lime with the q's and get 3 12 pks of my absolute fave that never/rarely has q's: diet pepsi!! Since a 12 pk is $6.49, I have to pay $3 oop + CRV. Still a great price for my DP! Now, if SW would just have that sale soon! I did manage to get my hands on 3 of the .55 Pepsi q's so will use those for the 2L Diet Pepsi. If anyone isn't going to use theirs, send me a PM and I'll send my addy. I'll use them right up! ;D

We have plenty of deod for a while and no one really has a fav except me. I really love Dove deod and soaps. I try to get them on a good sale since they are pretty expensive but I have plenty for now thanks to this thread. ;D

That is one of the things that I love about California...the alcohol deals in this state are AMAZING lol...I am thinking about doing this wine deal at Von's too...buy 6 bottles @ $4.50 plus 10% as $10/6 bottles electronic coupon from Just4U...it would come out to around $15 for 6 bottles... about $2.50/ea...sound good to anyone??? I am sooo jealous of these deals! I was thinking of doing the CVS TP deal for a second but I really don't want to jump back in at the moment and I realized it isn't actually DH's fav like I thoght. He really like the colgate luminous tp and it regularly goes on sale at shoprite for 0.77-1.00 so I will wait and get it there for free. If I am passing a cvs and have the b1g1f coupon on the deod I may still do that but I am still not sure. I will have to think about it.I had fun this weekend at JCpenny's. I haven't been in there in a while. I got a bunch of Liz Clairborne for him pants for DH. They were really nice cotton flat front Khaki's. (I think the west coast call them Chino's) I also got a few Docker's brand in a simaliar style. They were all priced $13. That was the best price on them I had seen in more than a year and DH needed some new ones pretty bad. It was a nice experience too. the place was quiet and low key which was nice for me. I read somewhere that the Mennan coupon auto deducts 3.99 (it did last time they were out too) and the red machine is giving $1/1 deoderant, so, they would be free, or I think .01 from what I read.

The link is currently suppressed until they check out the coupon's validity, but it may be available toward the end of the week. Since I haven't used a BOGO at CVS in quite a while, I'm not sure if using both at the same time is still allowed. Can anyone confirm?

REFRESHERS at WAGS: I noticed several of you guys were going after the refreshers that are free after coupon this week at WAGs. HOWEVER, I wanted to let you guys know that the week of 5/13 they are supposed to be .99 giving a .99 RR!!!! That coupon expires on the 19th, so I am going to try to get my store to order me some of those for that week. HTH Can you use the RR to get more of the same item?

The Q usually beeps and asks for price and the cashier's always enter the discounted price.

SW shoppers,
Check your ad to see if you have 2$ off any 10$ purchase of Lucerne items. You can combine it with the 2$ off 10$ IPQ that is out there for Lucerne and get 4$ off 10$ purchase. The lucerne cream cheese is priced at 1.29 with IAQ and the icecream cups are 59 c with IAQ. There is also a 20% off FF Q that will work with the bigger icecreams. The J4U price on lucerne milk is also very low.
If you have the 73c J4U price on the frozen veggies, the 20% off Q works on top of that. HTH

Wow - that's great CS. You should give him a great review. Yep, I sure will. Couponing has made me very aware of replying to surveys on store receipts. I gave my awesome cashier, Lee, at CVS a rave review the other day when the deals for the week were turned off early on Saturday.....I try to brag as much as I can, but I will also let you know when you do me wrong. I ran into a terrible cashier in FL and the experience was so awful, I filled out a survey from the receipt and a CS complaint on the WAGs website. The store manager followed up on that one, and I received a $25 GC for my efforts....

The 2$/10 comes off automatically if you have it in your ad. The 2$ IP should work on icecream. The 20% off is also in the Tuesday ad. I would keep the 20% off until the end though, since I am not sure if you have to buy 12$ worth and then use the 20% Q. If you do the deal, please let me know. Thanks

Dancin Chi-town cheapskate was a local blogger-not here on not msn. She would sometimes appear on mashup moms blog but has been NOWHERE since 4/13. Suppose I could email Rachel (mashup mom) and ask if she knows.
Maybe you could just do a page or appendix to the handbook w/the blog sites.
Misspt I was referring to the 5/13 ad when the refreshers are o.99 w/a 0.99 RR and my coupons are for $1.
Went out to dinner w/3 friends last night and didn't even have a coupon for where they decided. It was a moderatly priced chain & one picked up the entire tab. Planning to reciprocate in a few weeks.
