Nothing for now - thanks. I am slowing down a little as usual for the summer.
Let me know if you need anything else, since that will be a slim envie.

Yes, I usually scan it before my deals, then again before I leave the store. Sometimes I end up doing even more deals because of the additional CRT's.

Just returned from a short trip to the Sierra mountains to see BIL & SIL's new cabin (really a 3 bedroom house). It's very cute and close to a man made lake. Very quiet and peaceful. Guess I'm a city girl at heart because I could never live there full time. It's a perfect place for them, though, because it's only 90 min. from their weekday house. DH & I wanted to walk/hike out to the waterfall yesterday but BIL & SIL are not hikers and didn't want to go that far. We ended up hiking @ 3miles and then went wine tasting. Ladies, you would kick me out of the club: I bought two bottles of wine at $18 each! We gave them to BIL and SIL to thank them for the two day stay.

I see a report that capri sun is B3G1 free at Target, which pairs nicely with the B3G1 free coupon that expires on 4/15 or 4/18.......has anyone else seen this?

Morning all! I think I am going to slow down for a while. The deals seem few and far between and we really don't need anything enough to make me jump for a less than stellar deal. ;D
finnime it is sooooo nice to see another Shoprite shopper here!!!!!! Welcome!

Strange. Over the last month or so Aldi has had the BEST prices on fruit (cantaloupes, pineapple & strawberries-all at 0.99 each) even compared to my normally really good fruit/veg market prices. I am not used to that BUT I do pass Aldi nearly every time I go anywhere. I have one in my town and another on my way to see my Dad and the good Dollar store and Entenmanns’s outlets are in the same strip mall.
I have my ads for our grocery sales starting today or Thur. NONE of the prices beat Aldi on fruits that I like/use. Also, unusually, my closest fruit/veg market has NOTHING I want or need this week.
I am even LESS impressed w/the national chain ads. Safeway has cantaloupes BOGO but the price is 2.99 so $1 MORE than getting 2 at Aldi and as a single I can only reasonably use one anyhow. Albertson’s has house brand 8 oz bar and shredded cheese at 3/$5. Local market has a brand I have used for 2/$3 and I forget how much Aldi is.
I don’t think I have bought anything at my national chain grocers in >6 months that was not a clearance deal.

finnime it is sooooo nice to see another Shoprite shopper here!!!!!! Welcome! TY, beachbum. They opened Shoprite here about 8 months ago, replacing a Super Fresh. I have been pleased every week with their sales that I can do a double or triple play with, and routinely the non-sales prices on many (most?) items are lower than Safeway or Giant. Nice all around.

I went to Target and CVS today, and was reminded how much CVS marks up prices compared to Target. I wanted to do the Lysol Dual Action Wipes rebate, and I had a deal to do at Target and one to do at CVS, so I checked the price of the wipes at each. CVS only had the 35 ct for $4.99. Target had both the 35 ct. and the 75 ct., with the 75 ct. being $4.49. That was a no-brainer, and I'm glad I checked there instead of just getting the smaller one at CVS!
In addition to the wipes, I bought Always Radiant pads at CVS - on sale for $3.99, less $1/1 MQ, plus $2 EBs; I also got the Scrubbing Bubbles One Step at Target - $9.49, less $5/1 MQ, plus $5 Target Giftcard, and I will send in for the $5 rebate. I wasn't going to get it unless my Target was still doing the giftcard, and luckily they were so it seemed worth it since it wasn't something I would normally try or buy, but I'll try it out if they're going to pay me $5 for the privilege ;D

I was able to stockpile Beringer's wine at Safeway last week, but in general, I agree with you. I'm lucky if Safeway has one good stockpile-worthy item per month. I can cherry pick at Nob Hil MAYBE once a quarter. I'm still basking in the glory of wine deal. ;D

The prices at CVS are horrible. If it weren't for MCs, EBs, and CRTs, I would RARELY step foot in the door.

What website do you use for matchups? I have been using livingrichwithcoupons. It does a pretty good job IMO. The only difference with me is that my area doesnt fully double so I have to adjust the prices after coupons. That and my area HATES IPs. I have gotten them to take an occaisional one but it is like pulling teeth. Why they won't take the IPs printed from their own website is beyond me but there are not many other stores around her anyway so I guess the answer is because they can.

I did the wine at Vons as well, but I didn't have a $10/6 bottles (its an electronic coupon on their site now ) But I was able to get 4 bottles of BV Coastal and 2 bottles of the Beringer wine plus 2 steaks all for about $20ish ( I had a $6 off of meat coupon so I got the steaks for free) and I thought that was pretty good price
