OH brother give me a BREAK!! My local news station did a report on rims being stolen in Brooklyn. that a LARGE amount of cars are being left on bricks. now I think it was a police officer that said all the vehicle owners have to do is purchase wheel locks! and that will be good enough! NO - not entirely true! YES- I have wheel locks on my Show car. BUT once I'm a target... I'm a target and the locks will not stop thieves from stealing my rims! all they will do is pull out the vice grips to get the locks off.  |

Maybe because your blue lights which you installed yourself weren't legal for your vehicle? The Lincoln SUV factory-installed HID (High Intensity Discharge) Lamps are.

I guess i wouldnt want to get pulled over and possibly fined. Doesn't seem worth the trouble versus changing out the bulbs?

police do what they want as they please! Shooby - my dad was given a ticket a few years back say 2009 or 2010; while driving his 2006 or 2007 Cadi. Factory! nothing added no tinted windows. so he got a ticket because 1 of the 2 lights above the rear license plate was out! |

Of course, Zaire. It sounds like just about everything you have on the show car is illegal, but it's the police who have the problem. Have fun being obstinate and keep on paying those tickets. The town coffers really appreciate it.
