As China"s economy cools so goes the Aussies. Its more than just the fall of MF global.
Source Financial Times: ASX, the Australian exchange operator, has shut down the country’s agricultural commodities market after the collapse of MF Global, highlighting the impact that the bankruptcy of the US-based broker is having on futures markets.
The exchange said it took the decision on Tuesday to close the grain and wool markets “until further notice” given the large amount of outstanding contracts held by the US broker.

I can respect that, and I hope that you share more if you want to. One of the reasons I keep posting this here is because I believe there are lots out there just like you, and for some reason I feel compelled to share. I think the best thing I can share with you though, is that I believe God blessed America because the ideals were about the people, that HE(a MAN) loved first. Even if it took a long time for that TRUE idea to shine through. I don't have all the answers, but I do know that knowledge is the most powerful thing on this planet, that is why the Islamic extremest will lose, they refuse to let people learn they want.

I'm a numbers man, Ham? Do you happen to have any statistics to show how much "reshoring" is occurring in the US?

wxyz , The Federal Reserve just bailed out the communist and socialist countrys. No need to worry about the homeless, fuck em right? Nothing is over its just been put on hold for awhile. How can debasing the dollar even further not contribute to inflation, as oil and food prices will soon be going higher.

The FED is debasing the currency so that we can payoff our debt with inflated dollars
Only issue is, almost every other country is trying to do the same damn thing
It is a race to the bottom....
And i agree, wxyz....the OWS folks are done. They have no message....are not united.....and will go the way of the dodo bird
Their anger is misplaced.....it should be in Washington against our corrupt political system

Virg, what we have is trend. It's funny that wxyz brings up the oil spill because that is about the time that I first started talking about this crazy idea of "re shoring". Over the last two years a Firm from Boston come out with the predictions: 2010 wage equality by 2015, and 2011 three million manufacturing jobs created by 2020. You made the swipe about the wage increase, the 42% y-o-y. Which plays right into the trend that I was seeing, and the one that the Boston Consulting Group is also seeing. Then of course, there was the part of the analysis where I was saying this "reshoring" would cause a problems with the Chinese export market to the USA. Again, above, an Article from 2011, now completely confirming what I am saying about re shoring, in fact they attribute a drop in FDI to re shoring. What is significant about this, is again another part of my analysis, early in 2010. The only way out of the mess that China will find themselves in(look at all the rioting going on at plants because of lost overtime and wages due to drop in exports) is to increase domestic consumption, or face a civil war. This will cause more prosperity in other third world countries. Now.... China to Raise Poverty Threshold online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970204449804577068152307608914.html?mod=googlenews_wsjHow Brazil benefited from China’s growing appetite for meat, and why Africa can too www.howwemadeitinafrica.com/why-brazil-benefited-from-chinas-rising-appetite-for-meat-and-how-africa-can-too/13670/China eyes Africa’s farmland www.southerntimesafrica.com/news_article.php?id=6365&title=China%20eyes%20Africa%E2%80%99s%20farmland&type=80 There are plenty of examples all through this thread of how, not only wages, but rising shipping costs are driving more work home, and making it so that we will produce more things for our own markets, in a global supply chain. Then you add in the first new Heat in 100 year in Southland, and mix it with custom manufacturing that is taking off and you have some pretty decent numbers to go by there. (aka today's ChI PMI) However, manufacturing is only one angle of the American Renaissance. Another part of my 2010 analysis was AG! AG is doing amazing, and China has just recently surpassed Canada as the largest export market for US Ag products, that was before 100 million starving people got a pay raise. Yet another aspect of the early 2010 analysis is the energy factor. How early in 2010 I predicted that all of NA would at one point become an energy superpower, now.... U.S. Nears Milestone: Net Fuel Exporter online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052970203441704577068670488306242.html?ru=MKTW&mod=MKTW That would be the first time in 62 years that the USA has been a net exporter. Then we have that Keystone XL that will push the USA over the edge and end dependency on ME oil!!! I remember saying to kman in the fall of 2010 that in five years he would notice a big difference. As you can see above, and through this thread and the Free enterprise thread, what a difference a year can make!

I pray you're right Ham! I feel in my heart Decoy and Jarhead are though. But, there is no "winner" here. I suspect they would be happy to be wrong. This doesn't have to be about ego, but rather reality. I believe the reason we haven't seen a massive bout of inflation is because all the newly created money has yet to gain velocity. It's all on bank balance sheets... keeping them from insolvency. BUT, it's also keeping their bonuses going which is sad. Wages simply aren't going to keep pace with inflation and the American people won't stand for austerity. They've grown accustomed to handouts. We ALL get them... me included. I see many patients who have government insurance. Without it, they would simply go without my services. I'm preparing for this to end.
The can is simply being kicked further and further down the road; resulting in a bigger mess with each day we put off cleaning it up!

You see, that's the next part of all this. Yes it's true that the Masons build the Statue of Liberty. It's true that George Washington was a Maison, and that he was proud of the fact that the doctrine of Jacobism and the Illuminati had been a part of the freedom that WE have now. It's true that bankers and businessman funded the revolutions from the Chuch and the monarchy, and that the French completely abolish Religion right after the French Revolution of 1789 However, it's also true that we are all linked together and everyone future depends on everyone else, this is because of business, industry, and debt. For this reason, all the big boys agree that LOVE not WAR makes more, and that the Service economy of PAX Roma, has been shown to truly be the best way to build prosperity for everyone, as long as there is NO EMPEROR/KING. That is why the USA continues on, and will succeed. Because it is a DEMOCRACY, and not and Empire, and I can 110% prove that thanks to JC the businessman/war General. WE WIN. This of course turn over 2000yrs of history that goes to the thinking that JC was a hippy commie, and when you look at how business has freed and enlightened and empower the common man and most importantly women over the last 150yrs, it makes a lot of sense. Secret caves in Israel that date to Christ, with the JC fish and Roman army symbols in the same place, and the first combining of the two symbols(So it wasn't Constantine). Plus, an uncovered temple with a yin yang fish mosaic. www.history.ca/ontv/titledetails.aspx?titleid=117598 It's all about balance, thanks JC.

So now on top of everything else for 2012 going into 2013, we will be looking at China converting around 1 trillion dollars in bonds that will now be used for infrastructure repair. This means that China will be giving the USA 1 Trillion in DEBT BACK!!! This will be held in trust and the interest will go to rebuilding america!! All because they don't want to see it evaporate because the Yuan has to rise. This is of course, just another example of how, WE WIN! Did you see another article somewhere that explains how the (bolded by me) trust you mention above is going to be set up? I didn't see that in the article you linked.

Ya, well the biggest thing you have to remember that all these analysts and economists didn't even have it on their radar that there was even the slightest possibility of China just giving debt back. As you can see from the new speculation, at least someone did. They can't sell that much debt on the open market, it would be a disaster. They can't use it because it was bought at a terrible exchange rate to the yuan, so the best thing they can do, is literally set the bonds up in a trust that will pump money into; hopefully a secondary reserve system that will be made up of state run banks like the bank of ND. This will effectively be the you guys rebuilding yourselves with your own debt. Yes, you can thank JC for that!

Great points, when you think about it, this board should be able to flourish now. The fact is, if you add on 2009 and 2010's doom and gloom from the old MT, you have three full years of information that was completely misleading, and literally and handful of people that were trying to speak the truth. At this point, we should be able to have some respect around this board and be able to post our thoughts with having to worry about being attacked. It's fairly obvious that we aren't the ones on fantasy island. Like you said wxyz jobs.... Literally now, re shoring is part of the US. If you read all the articles you will notice the common theme of, the lack of skilled workers. What's interesting about this; while the mainstream is spouting off about the lack of good paying jobs the reality is that on the street we have confirmation from a 35 yr vet in the manufacturing industry that.... Those are great question for all. In the spirit of Christmas I would like to give anyone who reads this thread the present of knowledge. At at time when half the USA is apparently in poverty. LOL... I like that one, I guess if your a real big fan of the monarchy, oppression, and other things of this nature, I can understand how you would be upset that the dollar has overthrown the kings and queens rule. The one thing I would like to know about all of the people who present history in this manner is; can they show me a time in history when the little people of all races, sexes, and abilities have had a better time to succeed than during the history that the USA has brought the world? Because that is my reality, and a few others I know as well. That is what I base my economic views on, and it seem like more and more people are seeing the way that we do.
