saveinla: It seems like just yesterday they decided that we couldn't use (2) coupons on a BOGO sale. This is awesome news. Thanks for the update.

I have so many printables now for things that may go on sale because I want to print them before they're gone. They take up so much room in my little organizer because I tear them off (don't usually have scissors around) and they are just a little larger than dollar-sized. How are you guys organizing your printables you're not using but want to have with you in the store just in case? I know this doesn't give you a solution, but I just don't print anything unless I know I'm going to use it (there is a sale or upcoming sale that I'm aware of). Ya, sometimes I miss out; but in the past, I haven't used many of the coupons I have printed in hopes of being able to use them, so I just decided to go with the "print as needed" method. For me, it saves filing, purging, paper, and ink and it seems like it's not often that I REALLY miss out.

I'm not sure sure this sale is anywhere besides Oregon, but...
Haggen (which I think is called "Tops" elsewhere?) has Peanut Butter 18 oz (their brand) on sale for 99 cents on Wednesday.
There's been a lack of good prices on peanut butter, because of the crop shortage this year.
So just thought I'd share.

DEAL ALERT
I remember a few weeks back someone wanted to get Rogain..well, if you still have the coupon and need to goto WAGs, they may have it clearance down to $14.99 for you plus if you still have the $10 Q, it makes it just $4.99!!

Hit a couple GREAT deals on Tue. CVS had the cans of chopped clams for 0.88 and I had JUST used mine for clam chowder so replaced CHEAP. Red machine gave me a $2 coupon off CVS vitamins, minerals and supplements that are on sale BOGO. Got 2 that I need.
Safeway has a new produce book. Safeway has FE salad kits for $2.50. The book has $2/1 coupons. I had to REALLYU dig for the coupons as NONE of my regular stores had them out. Wonder why???Even better: my store had my fav kit (Caesar Lite) on clearance for 0.99 so bought 2 Caesar & 1 Asian for 0.50. Also at Safeway they had end of code ground turkey for $2. Today I will cook up a batch of chili as its back to winter temps here and I have everything (carrots, celery, onions, green pepper canned tomatoes) on hand. So much for this week’s meal plan, esp since I need ($$) sesame oil.
This isn’t to say I got everything I wanted: local Ace was OOS on an item as was Albertsons. I have rainchecks for both.

EC and Jaime Kirlew's effect on my little town: gomestic.com/homemaking/how-i-paid-just-36-00-for-800-worth-of-downey-tide-dawn-and-other-pg-products/then read this: socyberty.com/issues/coupon-fraud/ then this(from me and my store on SD, the picture wouldn't come thru, it's a pic on WD's door stating "coupons must match products purchased": Hi, I am a newbie here on SD and only a second time reader of this thread, but boy did y'all catch my attention. I am a long time couponer, and I live in H'burg, MS, but I gave up on WD a long time ago. When they gave me such a hard time about getting RC and using LEGITIMATE coupons, I turned to "greener" pastures. So this article was news to me ( and yes, a small part of me hates I missed out, a very small part, though, the rest of me realizes that WD could stand to lose a lot in reimbursement of the coupons). I dropped in at the larger WD in my area today, and here is what I found out: At the door: From the manager Shari Jo: AFTER a cashier noticed that coupons were being handed over for items not purchased, and the coupons didn't beep, Shari Jo called corporate. Corporate did indeed tell Shari Jo and other store managers that if the coupon didn't beep go ahead and take the coupon ("make the customer happy") and they did allow people to use P&G coupons "at will". THEN Corporate figured out what coupons were being used (the Align and Crest Whitestrips to name a few) and they called Shari and other store managers, stating they had to stop IMMEDIATELY. Shari acknowledged that she felt like the whole thing was a huge mistake, but she stated she was following corporate policy. I am betting the guy who said "sure, let them use whatever coupon" does not have a job anymore. Shari also thought that P&G "had made a mistake" with just one set of coupons, she had no idea that this could still happen even today in her store, if the cashier was not watching.... I doubt this could ever happen where I shop because almost every coupon beeps like I am the unibomber every time because the stores registers don't have the most up to date programming. But I think I can understand how some of this can happen. When I go to the GS I get 40-60 diff items and have maybe 10 coupons. By the time they get to the coupons my stuff is already bagged. I doubt the cashier actually remembers every item I bought with all the people they check out in a day. So I would think (hope) that the mgrs meant not to unbag every item to check every coupons matches with the correct item before scanning it. It would take a huge amount of time and annoy just about everyone involved. Since common sense would say that a Crest Whitestrips coupon wouldn't work for ex laundry det, the cashiers could just ring it up and only check if it beeped saying item not matched. I would think that was their point not to encourage people to intentionally get the wrong product to use a coupon for it that clearly wasn't intended for. Personally I couldn't do it even if they said it was okay, because I couldn't live with myself if I did something I knew was wrong.

I was doing my list for a trip to Shoprite this morning and realized just how much I really do live in the LOCC. Of the 20 items on sale that were listed as having coupons for them in the papers I got exactly 2 of them. And just to make me feel even better if the website said 0.50/1 the coupon I did get was 0.35/2 or 3. The only good news is Shoprite put the coupons for organic apples and carrots in the ad again. I will take my victories where I can get them lately.

I only print out what I actually think we will use--especially if there is a corresponding Target q for the product. I do sometimes have to throw a few away, but I've got it down pretty well as to what we actually buy on a regular basis. As for storing, I use the Dancinmama method for the drug stores: each one has a separate envie to store q's I'll use on that trip, UP's, EB's etc. I also have an accordian style plastic coupon holder (a little bigger than a small size envelope-bought it at Target). The sections are divided into various categories: Dairy, Meat, Cleaning/Paper, Breakfast, Beauty/Drug, Pet/Misc, Snacks etc.. This is where I cut and file the q's that have the greatest possibility of redemption. All of the above is kept in a really cute, brown shoulder bag. It has a pocket along the front where I keep a small calculator and small pair of kids scissors. My CVS green tag is attached to one of the straps. This is the bag that DH has dubbed "command central".

I haven't done much at WAGS of late but did go there yesterday for this transaction/s:
#1 1 Reach toothbrush $2.99 - $2.00 q (This was off the package of a prior purchase) Total: .99+.22 tax= $1.21 Rec'd $2 RR
#2 1 Sundown Vitamin D3, 100 ct: $4.00 1 Sweetarts candy hearts .39 (with in ad q) Minus $1.00 Sundown IP q $2.00 RR (from Trans. #1) Total: $1.66
Will submit for the Sundown $4 rebate. Spent $2.89 OOP.
This rebate is kind of a "blast from the past" as it has to be submitted electronically or by mail. If you request a WAGS gift card, they'll add 10% to the rebate. Interesting....You'll find all the eligible rebates in the back of the WAGS coupon booklet.

Just some thoughts in response to your post: I have not been shopping Winn Dixie precisely because of old registers, beeping coupons, and a middle-aged shift manager who wants to debate the meaning of the words "all" or "any". HOWEVER, during this particular incident with WD, they allowed people to walk in, buy $40 or $80 worth of gain, dawn, downy, bounty, etc and use $10 crest or $10 align coupons (4 like per transaction) go out to their car and do it again. They couldn't get people checked out before the store closed, they had to put signs up that people had to be at the register by 8p.m. so the store could close at 9!!!! In the beginning, it did start with large orders with bags already made, but at the end with management's full cooperation (due to an approval from corporate) people were using coupons fraudulently and this store alone could eat $150K in coupon redemption based on the manager's best guess...

Grrr, my Fresh Express salad kits were 2/$5, not 1.99, so they were 50 cents each after coupon. I bought four and got a rain check for later. I would have loved free. I gave coupons to a couple that were also buying some so they were happy to have $4 off. She called me the "mysterious coupon lady." I said I was the Coupon Fairy.

I think I'll do some of each.

OMG! that is probably ten times worse than I thought it was. I actually used to work retail and in marketing and I can easily think of why a GC mgr would do this and it isn't nice. that would make it a pretty well thought out crime with no excuse for them. The people might have not understood but seriusly I imagine not realizing that it was wrong. My little local GC is actually owned by a family. I think they own maybe 4 of them. I can imagine the one man from the family's reaction to this if he read it. I would bet my last dollar that he would have a stroke. My store positively HATES IP's. The list of restrictions they have for them is pretty long and ends with no more than 2 per day. I have a whole lot more sympathy for them now with that decision that I did before. thanks for posting thas it was very interesting reading.

I think I'll do some of each. With IPs...you'll probably find...as time goes on, that you'll know which IPs are more valuable & useful to you versus ones to wait on. If it's a high value one I will print it. Or, if it's for something that I always buy, I'll print it. And then, on others, I just play a wait and see game.

Dancin My Safeway ad runs Thur-Wed. The FE salad kits were on sale LAST week for $2.50. I just got luckey to pick up 2 of my favs at end of code clearance for 0.99 and used a $2 coupon, adjusted.
It does NOT appear to be running this week BUT I don;t think it was on the ad last week either.

Request: Does anyone have the Colgate-Palmolive MIR for buy $10 get $5?
I had a rain check for the Speed Stick at CVS and was able to buy (6). Used 3 BOGO MCs and sure enough, the coupons took off $3.99 not the $1.99. Paid $0.62 for all 6 and the cashier pushed the $6EB and also got a $1EB for the green tag count.

Really interesting RA deals for NEXT WEEK (from reading too much on SD ): Buy 2 Foster Grants "Spare Pairs" reading glasses at BOGO50%: 9.99+4.99= 14.98 get a $15 UP WYB 2, limit 4 AND earn $60 toward Winter Rewards(when you buy the limit of 4) OR buy 3 (this is with gold level discount): 9.99+4.99+7.99=22.97 and you SHOULD get back two $15 UPs. AND if you have Diabetes Wellness book there is a $5 coupon in it to make this a true MM. Frugalsuz has the thermacare deal listed for next week which also counts toward WR and there is this Band Aid deal: Buy 4 $3.49 Band-Aid Sheer Strips - $13.96/$12.56/$11.16 (Shelf/Silver/Gold) Use 4x$1/1 IPs [facebook.com] - $9.96/$8.56/$7.16 Get $12 +UP $2.04MM/$3.44MM/$4.84MM, if you only have the one computer to print two copies of the facebook coupon, then it's still free or a small MM.. Thanks for the Band Aid deal. I've been looking for a sale cuz I'm getting low. I was just looking at the ad and it should probably be noted that you don't have to buy 4 at once. The ad says "get a $3 Up wyb these items" and includes Band Aids, Neosporin, Cortaid. I just wanted to point this out for those (like myself) who have little to no Ups to work with. You could just buy 1 to get the Ups and roll them into your next purchase(s). Anyone looking for or needing storage tubs, they are a pretty good deal at RA this week. Gracious Living totes are 25% off this week with a $5 SCR wyb 2. They have a 40 qt that is 7.99, down to 5.99 on sale. Buy 2 for 11.98 and get $5 SCR. They have more options than this but I was looking for underbed storage and these were a nice size.
