Hi everyone!!! I know it has been ages since I have posted or been on the boards. My life has been crazy and I went from a part time job to a full time job. I am sad to say that while I am bringing in more money I am not saving as much as I haven't found/made time to coupon. I am slowly trying to pick things up again here and there. I have 2 wags close to me and 2 on the way back from work. A CVS JUST went in close to my work!! I am SOOOO happy to have a different store to add to the drugstore game! I already signed up for my card and I got some ECB already. I heard about the shaving cream deal and got about 6 cans Now to keep it going and figure it all out! What is the best site to explain the CVS game? i heart cvs? did anyone hear if the shaving cream is still going? How do rainchecks work with ECBs? how is everyone doing? It's been too long! I hope to be back in the loop more here, but I am realistic and I am not sure how often I will get on here. *waves* hope to talk soon! pudgybunny: WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME back to the GC!! ;D I believe you can get information about how CVS works on iheartcvs or hotcouponworld. The best thing about CVS is that many times the coupons from the red machine coincide with EB deals and the EBs earned don't expire for 30 days, so you have plenty of time to use them to your best advantage. tip: You might want to get a second card as CVS does impose limits on their EB offers. Cards do not HAVE TO BE registered to be activated. Simply remove the sticker and use. Feel free to PM me with any questions that you might have or post them here. We'll all be happy to help you get on board. rainchecks: You can get a rain check for any ECB deal and there is no time limit as to when you have to redeem them. After you have made the rain check purchase, the cashier will force print the EBs for you. It usually goes slick as snot. I'm so excited to have you back with us.

Dancin: You didn't see my post on the previous page?? LOL There is a spam coupon at coupons.com for $1/2 spam products it was at all zip codes yesterday and I still see it at 90210 for sure. I printed 6 for you, let me know if you would like them..... YES, YES, YES!!! It was sooooo nice of you to think of me and remember that I buy SPAM. Quite frankly, I can't stand the darn stuff. Sorry suzi. So I could get 12 cans with those coupons!! That would be AWESOME!! ETA: I see it now. I don't know how I missed it. Thanks again. OOOHHHH.....I love Spam. I was born in Hawaii, and Spam is so popular there. I ate a Spam musubi yesterday. It is just not good for me, so I can't eat much of it, sadly.

I had a baby in December, a sweet little girl. DH, DD (4), and I just love her to pieces. So that's why I've been so busy! Also, my father passed away unexpectedly a few weeks ago. It breaks my heart that he never got to meet the baby. My mom is doing OK, just trying to get her finances in order. He had a good life insurance policy so I think she'll be OK but I'm also stockpiling things for her and helping her out with coupons when I can. Mom is only 60 so she has to make her money last for a long time. So that's what I've been up to. I hope everyone had a nice holiday and a great start to the New Year! Are there any deals at WAGs or CVS this week that are good for someone trying to get back in the game with no RRs/ECBs? Welcome back...and -wow- you've been through a lot recently. Congratulations on your new daughter! And so, so very sorry about the loss of your Dad. That is really hard. ---------------------------------------- Hmm...Wags next week 2/26 has a number of free after RR (that is, IF they have stock.) You would have to put out cash though. That's what I'm planning to do, but I have a grocery store that will take RRs so it works out for me.

Thank you all for the good thoughts and prayers. Everything went well with the surgery but it was a very long day. Don't know if any of you have ever had a jaywire put into your breast, but that was the most uncomfortable part of it all. They did use lanicaine or some other kind of caine which totally numbed the area, but still. It's amazing how many people wander the halls of a hospital the number of people employed there. I will get the biopsy results back in a week so my fingers and toes are still crossed. Wow...no, I don't know what this jaywire thing is...but anything with the word "wire" and breast does NOT sound pleasant. Glad you are through w/that and hope you get the results as quickly as possible.

Frugal Suz: I have $4.00 towards $25.00 on the Advil monthly UP reward. Can I apply that to next week's Robitussin's deal you have laid out on your blog? Also, there's a $1.50 Q from the Diabetic coupon book. Would I be able to use that with the MQ and in-ad Q? rubyslippers, Yes. Robitussin is part of the monthly advil deal and your 4$ should carry over. If the 1.50 Q is a RC48... Q you can use it with the in ad RC49.. & MQ. Thanks!

Yesterday I ventured out to Rite Aid to do the Colgate toothpaste deal. I had 4/$1 Colgate Advanced q's and 2 .50 q's from the Diabetes q book (thanks MissPT for mentioning that-I was able to get two!). So here's my deal: 4 Colgate Advanced: 3.50x4= $14.00 1 gallon Berkeley Farms milk $3.09 (a real Calif milk) Total: l7.09 + 7.25% tax (except on milk-no tax)
Minus: 4/$1 q's (from the WAGS Diabetes magazine) -4.00 2 .50 q's from RA Diabetes q book -1.00 1 .30 Real Calif milk q -.30 UPs -11.00 Total OOP including tax: $1.82 Rec'd $14 UPs for the Colgate toothpaste
Normally, you cannot use UPs for milk here, but I've found that if you purchase other items with it, the UPs work. Also, my prior RA receipt said I had $6 toward the $10UP wyb $25 Advil products. After purchasing the above $14 of Colgate tp, my receipt then said I have $20 toward $25 Advil products. I don't know if that's correct or not, but I may go back and get some Robitussin next week to see if the $10 UP is generated. It all counts toward that $20 UP wyb $100 by 3/3 so I'm getting close to that, too.

CVS finally had the Valentine's candy 75% off. I was able to find two big pkgs. of Hershey's chocolate kisses. They were .87 each but I had a CVS q for $1 off two. Pd. .74 total. DD1 is coming home next week before starting her clinical rotations in physical therapy (her first set MissPT!-she's getting close to the end now). She'll be about two hours away from home so will stay with friends up in Roseville during the week and then come home on the weekends. It will be nice to have her home. She likes to go walking/hiking with me. It will be nice to have my baby back. And she's the one who will get the hershey's kisses. She loves chocolate! ;D

I feel like I live in backwards land. It seems to be pretty quiet for most people but my local GC stores have been hopping for me. ;D I got two envies from Connie and Ohiositter, thanks so much!!!! So first I went to Acme. I wanted the V-8 juicke that is on sale 2/$4 and has a cat that you get $2 WYB 3. Well I went in and did two small trans as I didnt want to have to carry any cats for there since I rarely go there. Well they must have read my mind because I thought I had it to a few cents for the 2nd trans. I bought 3 V-8 for a total of $6 bucks and the cat machine spit out 2 $2 cats not one. So my second trans I paid a few cents for using the cats from before and the one it was supposed to spit out. I still have the other for a newspaper this Sunday on them I guess. At Shoprite I used the coupons that were so generously sent to me. I bought, 12 Ragu sauce, 12 Knorr Pasta/Rice sides 4 bottles Motts Apple juice 64 oz 2 Motts applesauce cups 6 bags Chex mix 6 Boxes Nature Valley gronola bars 8 LBS pasta and 5 reusuable bags My final OOP after coupons and Cats was $9.36 and I got $8 in cats from the last trans for my next. I hope everyone else is also having a great day!

I also did the cereal deal by pricematching Meijer's deal last weekend, and this week Aldi has a pretty decent produce sale. I've learned to pick the deals whenever I can. Now with gas prices climbing, I'm going to have to be really selective because all my shopping takes place out of town. You did really well this week!

I threw in another CVS run tonight to check for more boxes of 75% pampers. The one store I had time to stop at did not have any more diapers, but had a shelf full of planter peanuts for this week's gift card. I bought 10 peanuts (2/$6) and 2 L'Oreal Pro Vive at 2.49e. I used a $3/$15, 5 $1.50/2 Planters coupons from the 1/15 or 1/22 SS, and two .75 L'Oreal Pro Vive coupons along with $17 in EBs. I paid $7 on a GC, got back a $10 GC and a $5 EB, so $10 for 10 peanuts (give or take)!! The store manager asked me if I wanted him to order anything for me, and I almost passed out right there . I immediately said "Pert please???!" and he laughed and said "yeah, another lady called me today and asked me to order her 20." LOL ETA: The peanuts will qualify for a Heineken rebate of $10 WYB $15 in Salty Snacks and 12 pack of Heineken, Yay!!! Suzi: I am glad to see you posting again, I hope you are getting your inner-coupon-ninja back. Have you fully recovered? Murphpath: boob + wire = OUCH, I am still thinking about you daily, and hoping your test results are negative for any C or pre-C... Your daughter is about to have some real fun with her clinicals, I hope you enjoy having her at home (some). Dancin: My sister is supposed to send me two of those spam IPs with some other stuff she is sending me. When I get those, I will send these others along. Kelloggs IP: $4/4 at zip 30033 on coupons dot com Pudgy: Glad you are back Nickyleey: I am sorry to hear about your father passing.

what is the pert deal at CVS? I am so happy I got my CVS to write up a raincheck for the shave cream! $3.49 with $4 ECB back. I told them I heard it was limit 100 and I would love that many.. her eyes got big and she said she would just leave the quantity blank. would you write limit 100 in or just leave it blank and pray?

Pert will be BOGO next week at 3.99 (I think) and it counts for the $10 cash card WYB $30. There is also a $3/$15 CVS Q on facebook that makes this a little sweeter and the $1/1 that came in the 2/5 SS....

Walgreens has the Diabetes booklet at the pharmacy. You may have to ask for it as some stores do NOT put it out and then they only give you 1 at a time,.

It's actually a packet of info on diabetes and the smaller coupon booklet is inside. We have 2 Rite Aids so I was able to get two. You just have to ask for it at the pharmacy. One just handed it to me, the other wanted to scan my RA card. Most of the q's are for diabetes related stuff. I got it for the Magnivision glasses q's but since neither RA had the single pair (only the multiple in the wrong size), I didn't get to use it. Oh well...

Did anyone get to print more than one of the CVS $3/$15 that was offered on Facebook (I think it was) that expires 3/15? I'm just wondering if the codes are unique or if I can use the same one on another card. I haven't gotten a $/$$ in months and if I can use this one on another card, that would be great.

For those of you that have a Raley's or Nob Hill, there's a great cereal deal going on right now. Frosted mini-wheats flavors and 20 oz Raisin Bran are $1.99 wyb at least 4. There's a $10 gas card rebate from Kellogg's (I think MFA has the link) and some great q's out there. I printed 1 $5/5 Kellogg's cereal and 2 $4/4 Kellogg's cereals. Don't know if they're still available. I bought:
10 20 oz Raisin Bran (the $4/4 q specifies this size) $19.99 3 Strawberry frosted mini-wheats (DD2's fave) $ 5.97 1 Mann's shredded brocolli .99
Minus 2 $4/4 cereals: -8.00 1 $5/5 cereal: -5.00 1 .55 IP Mann's .55
Total OOP: $13.31 Minus the $10 gas card so $3.31. When you subtract the Mann's, that works out to @ .22 box. I do love Raisin Bran and it hardly goes on sale for $1.99! Had to jump on it.

I guess since the coupon doesn't expire until 3/15, it is going to be offered for a while. I used DH's junk facebook and email and I'll get another coupon within 24 hours. ;D
