Years-long lurker. Just started posting occasionally. Posted as discernment_czar 'cause that's what I used when trying to talk sense into some folks on political blogs. Always thought that sounded a little pretentious so I changed it on here when I registered...but I still liked the czar (I know - that's the pretentious part, right?). Glad I can get to the new board at work.

Former lurker here. I learned a lot from YM, and absolutely loved longer threads, where the OP would come back and give the reader an idea whether the advice given was useful.
I started to read all threads backwards while trying to keep up with new ones. Am really annoyed because I was only around page 500 when the news of the board's demise were announced. 3300 pages of stories and advice will be lost forever for me.

I lurked for years and then became TexTaxpayer. For the holidays I morphed into TexTurkeyWearsAFlamboyantWreath. It was really late when I migrated to this board so I became TiredTurkey. Now the only avatar I liked and could figure out how to use is a cow so I may have to change from a turkey to a cow.

I turned it off years ago after it balked at the common spelling of my first name. I'm chiver78. I've mostly posted on WIRR, but have branched out to YM recently. since the move over to this board, I've stumbled into some EE threads. something to do with sorting by "new topics" but I'm enjoying myself so far. |

I am a long-time reader, mostly a lurker. Rarely posted on MSN. I really like the new board, It works with Chrome instead of IE.
And, I'm a UNION MEMBER! Hoping to retire in the next year or two, and find a part time job.
I did NOT tip my paperboy. I've never met the dude, but he did give me a Christmas card for some reason.
