I ran across this little gem last night. Notice the broken sentences and "bloated use of ellipses", as Virgil called them. Also take note as to who the author of this grammatical vomit is: Ffft. So it stalked her. The female snow leopard clicks her teeth as children walk by. Slowly. Patiently. Click click click. (Your crimson blood...)
Click click click. (Your putrid blood...)
Click click click. (...filling my belly.)
Click click click. (Your screaming throat...)
Click click click. (...clasped in my jaws.)Heres what I've been looking for. I'll add a few puddy tat pics to it. Reduce, Reuse & Recycle ![](http://naturescrusaders.files.wordpress.com/2009/10/snowleopardcub2.jpg) ![](http://freespace.virgin.net/zzz.99/k/laughspit.gif)

According to lingual purists, even a sentence such as "This is the place they chose to meet." doesn't pass muster. Don't you mean "mustard"? ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) I've seen that more than a few times.

You're thinking of "cut the mustard", Weltz.
It represents the inside/outside uncian dichotomy quiet well.
The spawn appears harmless, but the item protruding from its mouth (that the photographer hopes to pass off as its tongue) is in actuality the tip of a human finger—specifically, the index finger of the late Mrs. Brynne Lvovsky, the spawn's previous keeper.
The uncia typically swallow human fingers whole and regurgitate them later. They hoard them in caches near their lairs, building up veritable ossuaries over a period of many years. I consider it "collecting trophies", but the more apologist of my scientific peers remind me that we don't yet have sufficient evidence to support this conclusion.

No. You've never seen folks write "It doesn't pass mustard"? I have. It's funny.

We still tease my sister about her grade school essay on taking a trip to "Sandy Eggo". ETA: That also calls to mind a "lawyer" who made an impressive debut on the old MSN Market Talk by declaring "Case law is based on precedence." He didn't last long. ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/wilted.png)

There's a person on P&M (who shall remain nameless) who also used to post on MSN. He has always mis-used "than" and "then", "your" and you're", "accept", "expect" and "except", "to" and "too", and almost always uses "a" before a word beginning with a vowel instead of "an" where appropriate.
Example: "I think that your full of it. I know more then you think I do. I guess a apology is to much to except".
He's also notorious for ending sentences with a a preposition or several ........
(He claims to be highly educated as well).

Hee hee. ;D If I can figure out who it is, then it proves "an individual could reasonably infer the target of the malicious statement". It becomes a personal attack ipso facto. Accused of a capital offense against the CoC, Lassie will have no choice but to resign her office or else face a lengthy impeachment hearing. With her exile will come the destruction of one of three pillars of the axis of uncia. Only POM and Sugilite will remain. Waiting. Trembling. Fearing the day when their contributions too will fall prey to legal scrutiny. The pillars must fall. For all our sakes, they must fall. A golden karma to the man or woman who can tell me who Lassie is talking about! ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/muhaha.png)

All in favor of appointing Virgil PERMANENT spelling, capitlization, punctuation, grammer, stalker/repairer, just type a letter. Any letter. You are now elected.

I've always said "I could care less if..." since I consider it in the same vein as "I could give a rat's patoot if..." and "I could possibly live with..."—that is, implicitly sarcastic.
I could care less if they're "cute". I could give a rat's patoot if they're endangered. I could possibly live with never again seeing a freaking snow leopard.

However, I fear that your "golden karma" is a set up. By answering, if correct, I could also be in violation of the small print in the COC. ![](http://syonidv.hodginsmedia.com/vsmileys/zipit.png)

It is "I could care less.". You were correct. And Weltz was wrong, twice in one day? Whew! Nope. It's "I could not care less". It means that I care so very little, that caring even less would be impossible. The other way makes no sense. I maintain my position.
