VA - Oh yes, but expect a few bits of turbulence along the way!  We may see some initial " tests" after Thanksgiving and first weeks of December.

Merck ( MRK) raises its quarterly Dividend 2.2% !

The quarterly per share rate is now .47 from .46 cents.

The annual rate per share has gone from $1.84 per share to $1.88

The VFC buy was very timely.  Nice gain.  Will keep for long term after 3 year chart review, lots of room for upside (IMHO).
Looking at HBI for a possible recovery, looks like it's scraping out a bottom after a down year.  (Again IMO)

If you recall - That's what we saw last year - A really rough start but I picked up a lot of good bargains during that patch -  The stock market is not linear in nature -- but eventually it climbs back up and when it does you are in a better position than before the decline.

Ladder Capital Corporation (LADR)  Raises Dividend 9.1%


Ladder Capital is increasing its Quarterly Dividend from .275 per share to .30 per share per quarter or
from $1.10 per share to $1.20 per share on a yearly basis !


In Addition it declares a Year End Special Bonus Dividend of .16 Cents per share !

It Doesn't get much better for Dividend Investors than this !

New report says Ladder Capital (LADR) is marketing itself to be sold

- No word on whom potential buyers might be !
Stock is up over 5% as of 3:30 PM today !

Phillip Morris (PM) has submitted an application with the FDA to sell it's Electronically heated Cigarettes (IQOS) int he United States. If approved Altria (MO) has an exclusive deal to distribute them in the US. It is my understanding that it is a different product from the Vape Cigarettes now on the market here.

PM is already selling the product overseas. If this goes through it could be huge for both companies.

I own a little of both - Will just wait and see where it goes from here.

Altria (MO) Rumors :

Rumors or Speculation - Not sure of the difference but it sprouts from the fact that Altria owned  positions in INBEV and Miller Brewing. INBEV recently acquired Miller and as a result MO will be receiving over 5 Billion in cash.

What will MO do with all this cash?

Pay off Debt ?
Acquire another business ?

Buy back shares ?

or as many are hoping for --- Declare a Special Dividend for shareholders ?

I trust MO's great management team to make the correct decisions for MO and its shareholders.

Ventas (VTR) Raises Dividend 6.2%

Ventas is raising its Quarterly Dividend from .73 to .775 cents per share per Quarter

$2.92 per share to $3.10 per share on a yearly basis !

General Electric (GE) raises it's Dividend 4% !

General electric has just announced a Dividend increase for 2017 of 1 cent.

The Quarterly Dividend was raised from .23 cents to .24 cents per share on a quarterly basis.

The Yearly rate is Now .96 per share on a yearly basis from the old rate of .92 cents per share.

General Electric is in one of my top ten holdings - I believe that it will perform very well over the next two to three years. While this was a modest Dividend raise it is encouraging as the Dividend has been frozen over the past two years while they go through major restructuring. The Dividend yield is over 3% based on today's price. Not a bad yield to park your money to wait for the hopeful big future payoffs.

Abbot Labs (ABT) raises its Dividend 1.9% !

Abbot has raised it Quarterly per share Dividend from .26 to .265 cents per share.
Annual rate from $1.04 to $ 1.06 per share.

Doing fine here at Grand Palms ALF.  Food is very good and one has the choice (between 2 meals) or option of several other items.  So I am spoiled rotten.  Lots of activities (option, participate or not).  Spend week days (M-F) on Scottrade Elite site (as desired).  They take good care of residents.  Glad the move was made, since doing everything alone at condo for nearly 16 years was getting too hard at my age.  Thanks for asking, VA.

Bristol Myers Squibb (BMY) Raises its Quarterly Dividend 2.6% !

BMY raised its Quarter Dividend from .38 to .39 cents per share on a Quarterly Basis.

The annual rate went from $1.52 to $1.58 per share.

Nam Tai Property (NTP)   Raises Dividend 250%     !!!!!!!!!!

I don't own or follow this stock but you have to admit the Dividend Increase is eye catching !

Its quarterly Dividend per share rose from .2 to .7 cents per share. , Its a Chinese Tech stock traded on the NYSE so not my cup of Tea !

Pfizer (PFE) Increases Dividend 6.7% !

Pfizer has Increased its Quarterly Dividend from .30 to .32 per share.

Its annual Dividend has Increased from $1.20 to $1.28 per share !

Pfizer is one of my Largest Holdings and is in two different Portfolios - I am very Bullish on this stock Long Term.

I continue to Drip shares and add to holdings on Pullbacks.

Boeing has raised its Quarterly Dividend from $1.09 to $1.42 per share !

Annually from $4.36 to $5.68 per share !!

Eli Lilly has raised its Quarterly Dividend from .51 to .52 cents per share.

On an Annual basis from $2.04 to $2.08 per share.

Realty Income (O) Raises its Dividend .2% !

Realty Income has raised its Monthly Dividend from .202 to .2025 cents per share.

Annually the Dividend is from $2.42 to $2.43 per share.

Realty Income is considered by many to be the Stalwart of REITs - It pays on a Monthly basis and has regular Dividend Increases.
