LOL! I love giving out karma when someone earns it and I had my finger on the exalt button when I read your post. I don't give karma to people who ask.

Is there a limit to how many karmas I can give you Pig? I think this is #4 or #5. ;D

I ran a test 5k at the track last night. I ran it in about 22:30, which I am happy with. I started off way too fast, though. I ran the first 400m at a 6 minute mile pace, which drained too much of my energy and I was feeling it in the middle of the race. I was able to end fairly strongly, but I think if I start off running more like a 7:30 minute mile I will be able to run it more quickly. I need to learn my pacing a little better.

Well shit Shoulder and tendonitis is not any better, worse in fact. I've decided to take 2-3 weeks off totally from the weights. I'm bitterly angry but I just can't put my wife and kid through my not being able to be there physically (surgery would be worse and even now i can't have them near me due to the pain) so I've got to. Oh well, do what you got to do.

Oh, Dr.Pig, that is a real bummer. I'm very sorry to hear that. I hope you are feeling better soon. Have you been following your doctor's orders?

Well, not exactly. I stopped doing things that aggrivate it but I didn't start taking the medication that he said I had to take for a month or it wouldn't work. I was planning on it but was taking so many supplements I didn't want the added medication. I stopped taking everything as of this morning and will "detox" for a few days before begining them. Thanks for the good wishes.

I think that is a good idea to take the medication as intended and see if it helps. Hopefully, you will get some relief.

Good luck fam! I decided to dust off my racquet last night and hit the racquetball around. It was fun, but I always get a blister in my hand from the way I grip my racquet.

You're probably gripping it too hard. It should be very loose in your hand until you hit the ball.

I actually have a pretty loose grip. I tend to hold my racquet at the end of the handle, and the nub part that flares out tends to rub against my palm and causes it to blister. I need to find a way to modify the grip or find a racquet that doesn't have a flared handle, but I don't think they exist.

Then you're holding it wrong (I've seen a lot of people do this). Fix your grip to the proper way and your problem is solved.

Thanks for the luck azphx! So I need to worry about blisters? My hands are very soft. I watched most of the videos and I do think that will help. Dr.Pig why don't you come over and show me how to grip? ;D

I would love to but women don't listen on how to grip things very well.

LOL. I'm ready. What is my first lesson? Btw, I'm going to own center court tomorrow! ps. I learned that term from the video.

Careful or he'll run over you lol. It's hard to keep center court when your oppenent is better than you. I bet he'll have you winded in about 5 minutes. You'll love the workout though, it's more tiring than running the track.

LOL. No way will I be winded in 5 minutes, but he's definitely going to kick my butt. It better be a whole lot more fun than running track, I hate running! I'm trying it because you guys all said how much "fun" it is. You better not be setting me up for torture just so you can laugh.

I'll bet you a karma that you'll come back and tell me otherwise? Deal? It is a lot more fun as you don't realize how tired you are until you stop to serve or something as you'll be concentrating on the ball rather than how miserable you are feeling like when you run lol

I played again last night, still working on my technique (I have a decent forehand, but my backhand is inconsistent). I tried a new glove and it seems to help with the blistering. Fam, just try to have fun. Don't worry about "owning" anything. Just focus on returning the ball to the front wall, make that your primary objective at all costs. ;D Good luck!

You should fix your grip rather than relying on a glove. Your game will improve.
So how'd your RB go Fam?
