Sparkle... I saw your post on previous page, and I've emailed you. Thanks for the lovely post. That is a very unusual, colorful plant! Very cool!

Heart... I wanted to tell you, I love your avatar! I had to chuckle at your response "I know, right?". My daughter says that every time she gets a compliment, in the same tone as you said it.

Weezy... I hope you're starting to feel better. I did read about you moving your Mom. I know she won't be as close, but it will be best for her. Everyone will be happy in the long run, knowing she's in an easier environment to get around in.

I miss all of you, and all the friends who haven't been around here also.

Good afternoon all! Really tired today. DS#2 decided to wake up at 3:00, so I got up at 4:00 and checked on him. then I let him get up at 5:15. Where'd my snoring icon go!

Rotten day today. Got up at 4;30 and couldn't get back to sleep.
Had to go to the hospoital for a bunch of tests again that sucks, was there for an hour and half.
Got out and it was blowing like crazy. Supposed to snow tonight, theve been saying that for 3 days noW and we haven't got any.

Weezy, our area has been threatened with snow too, but none or very little have been seen, and none in my area whatsoever. Today our temps were lovely, yesterday too. Mid 6o's.

I am doing pretty good. Been busy - plus my computer at home is not working well at all. I hate to buy another one - not sure the one I have is worth fixing. I am not a computer person...so I have no idea what might be wrong.

Always good to see you!
Don't you just hate computer problems?!
Let me begin by saying I am NOT techy. Nope. Not me.
But even I have been able to reinstall my operating system. It wipes out everything, but that, compared to the purchase of a new computer... Well, to me, it was worth it. The biggest headache was reinstalling all the updates. That was time consuming.
Just don't forget to save email addresses, and passwords, things like that first!
(I run Windows XP)



You do have to have a copy of the original installation discs though. Maybe if you don't have them, someone you know does?

I might need help in solving a decor problem. I STILL HAVE NOT gotten a rug or curtains for my 'remodel' living room/dining! I just can't find what I want...well, I haven't look real hard either!

TMR - yes I still have them...might have to try that. I think i have everything backed up on my computer, so I should be good there. I know some Techy people, but always hate to ask them...To them it is probably something simple...to me...might as well be speaking another language!


Just an update...I have been on my diet for 3 months now and have lost 22 pounds! YEAH YEAH YEAH! I love being able to buy smaller clothes! Got to lose more though. I have been feeling much better lately! I still have my depression spells, but they don't last as long...THANK YOU LORD!
I am able to let stuff "roll off my back" more now...but there are just some things, no matter how small they are that just get under your skin and fester! My back and shoulders are no where near as stiff and sore - where my stress settles.

We finally got some rain yesterday! Such a beautiful site! No where near enough though. I will take what I can get!

I have a little get-a-way planned - going to the beach. The town is having a Christmas Celebration with street vendors/parades. I haven't ever been...I can't wait to go. I am going to put up my Christmas tree this weekend! well at least start! I am going to put in National Lampoons Christmas Vacation then Elf and decorate!

DS#2 did well with the dental work. He didn't want to wake up from the anesthia! Yesterday was a LONG day but I think he feels better now the work is done. He may have an extra tooth and need more dental surgery in a couple of years but he may need it anyways since you can't work on him while he is awake. Poor kid!

h2h: LOVE the cat!

me2: I PM'd you. DF may be able to figure out your computer issues. I am lucky to have him to work on my computers. Great job on the weight loss. I have been trying to lose weight and failing miserably. At least I am not gaining. The last 2-3 months have been SO stressful I just haven't been able to do what I need to lose the weight.
