Hope everyone had a great Turkey day. I gained the respected 3 +lbs.... Hopefully I can take them off before Monday....
Had a good time with the family and got some great deals at CVS and Walgreens.

Mitten.. I don't dare go near a mall or any other department stores this weekend, but do love browsing through the drugstores, looking for their greatly reduced clearance aisles.. I refuse to get on the scale.. I know I had much too much to eat on Thanksgiving.. If I get on the scale now, I won't go for another slice of ham..  What I don't know won't hurt me, only if it lands on my hips..  |

 How's your shopping coming? ? ? I'm pretty much done. (Although I haven't stopped!) I just need to wrap, and pick up a few 'guy' things. I normally enjoy wrapping, but having a ferret as a helper, isn't much help! LOL Heart, did you do your colored words on here? (this site?) I'm green with envy! -As usual!  Any suggestions for less spendy 'guy' things???I don't think this one is gonna cut it!    |

You guys are almost done I'm just starting to do mine But mine are going to be money in envelopes because I don't know what the kids sizes are or what kind of toys they like or what my son and DIL like so money is the easiest way to go since they are so far away. I'm getting Mom a new winter Jacket though Heres is so old. I'm getting myself a winter coat also a christmas gift to myself

h2h: LOVE the cat. It looks a lot like one of my gray cats, only mine is a LOT fatter.
toomuch: I did my yearly inventory and it looks like I need to purchase an item for my mom and DF's father. The rest are DONE! Wrapping will commence later as we are having new floors installed starting on the 14th hopefully.
weezy: I am actually hoping some of the grandparents give the kids money. I like them learning about it, how to spend it and save it. Plus then they get what they want and no one has to guess. Although I did send out an e-mail with everyone's wish lists.

MK- I'm jealous you have done your inventory. Mine generally gets done as I wrap, which isn't the most efficient way, or best time. But I'm not usually too far off. I can generally either hold back an item, or switch who I'm giving something to. Thank goodness I have two grown daughters with similar taste! -Although it's kind of hard to switch dog and cat items!
weezy- My dad has given out money for years. And his parents did, before him. I've never heard a single complaint!

Both of the hot tubs where I live have issues, and are not working. And earlier tonight, one of my doors fell off it's hinges. Glad it's not an outer door!  Jeez, you'd think I live in a not so nice apt. complex. But actually it's only about 10 yrs old, and maintained quite well! Must be a bad night! Jeepers! It is definitely night.... Hopefully yours was good! |

tmr: OUCH I LOVE our hottub and at least it being only ours I know it is working order. Of course it if breaks I get to pay to fix it..... And it is now offically winter here are starting to get COLD!

MK- I hope your day improved, and that you are having a great night! Perhaps a chocolate karma+l will help?!  I don't use the hot tub much when it's hot outside, but I love it when it's cold! I live in a fairly small community, and we don't typically have these kind of issues, so it seems odd that both hot tubs would have an issue, at the same time. Honestly, that's why I prefer to pay rent, rather than own. I don't want to be responsible for the repairs... Not the cost or the work. Although there's something to be said for knowing who's used something, and how! And I can't make it happen any sooner either... Nite all!  |

  Don't mean to pour water on you all's happy tub days, but I hate tub cleaning with great passion.. I have a regular sized soaker tub (that I'm in-  love with) in my latest remodeled bathroom and one of those great big ones in another. The another tub is coming out a.s.a.p. I hate cleaning that monster.  It fights back. I almost ordered jets in my new tub and was talked out of it by the salesperson.  And my contractor too. I was told lots of folks hate their big monster tubbies now, with or without the jets and are getting rid of them.. Shhhhh.. I bet it's more about the economy than anything else. Take lots of water to bathe and clean the thing.. But not with me. I really don't like cleaning those great big beautiful tubs.. I become bear if anyone dare to bathe in the one I clean, I tell you that with certainty.. I'm mad and I'm not taking it back. ;D My big monster tub, that is.
