Good Morning/Afternoon  Heart, how are you doing this morning with your back? My day is starting off cold! I almost had to put the heat on but I refuse to do that just yet. Opened up the curtains to try and let the little bit of sun in and get warm that way. This sudden change from summer to fall isn't easy to adjust to, but I still wouldn't mind having fall all year round! Hope everyone has a beautiful, sunny day! |

Good morning friends! hopefully we will have a cooling down by next month here in Cali. We had blue whale sightings off the coast of California, wish i could have been there to see them. OOPS! I forgot to copy my flower LOL! Be back in a little while.  |

Supposed to bein the 80's today for once. We have been getting really cool weather here for the last week or so.
I'm out ded heading my flower beds right now started yesterday should finish today.
Have to take it easy as I hurt my shoulder again, and my doc iis retiering at the end of the month so I'll have to find another one.

 My morning is cold.. Brrrr brrrrrzz.. I literally wrapped myself in my warming blanket and slept all night and felt just fine.. I walked outside onto my front porch this morning and breathed.. Guess what? I saw my breath!!   But, the sun is shinning and the skies are a pretty blue. So I smiled. I just liked the picture below and thought I'd share it with you!  |

Sparkle Sparkle Sparkle.. What BIG flowers you have. The better to see them. They sure color our world. ;D They really are beautiful and big. I have no idea how to tell you to do a downsize so we can really enjoy them to the fullest .. No pun intended.  So, are you saying it's really warm where you are? If so, could you please send a little warmth my way? What are your temps like? Hmmmmm.. Maybe I'll do a temp thread.. I'm not sure if a temp thread would be valid here. I will make a valid plea that it's valid for us, because the weather not only affects some of us folks who are challenged with depression and the sort.. But, supposedly normal folks get all messy minded too when the weather doesn't suit their fancies.. ;D <--- Think that's valid purpose for a starter thread for a weather related thread? I think so.. So here goes.. ;D |

Okay, don't know how to post the weather here like in the old board, but there is a cool down for today and tomorrow 74F and for the the rest of the week in the 80's. Heart i love it when we get in the 60's love to go walking in that kind of weather. Yes The weather can have an effect on our mood. I not sure what it's called, I think Post Seasonal or something?  |

I don't remember the title either, but do remember the thread.. I think that sort of thread would be a wonderful fit here.. If Depressed, Laugh! <--Great title for thread, you think? I am sure you can come up with some type funnies column for us to enjoy.. Give it a shot.. What's the worse can happen? A cut-away is all. Go for it..

Hey Sparkle and Heart! Sparkle, thanks for the suggestion of that thread. I can't even remember now what it was called.  But any specific name for a laughter thread. I will see if there are rules to starting a thread then come up with some ideas. We need to have an alter-depression thread for sure - a pick-us-up! Talking about temps, we've been having such cool weather I've been tempted many times to turn my heat on. But I refuse to start it this early! I'll put on the heavy clothing, and cover in a warm blanket for now. Sparkle, we sure do love your beautiful flowers - whether BIG or small! ;D Just a picture alone can perk up our spirits, so thank YOU!  |

yes darla we need a funny's depression threas here. To do it go to the top of the page and ther is a button were it says new thread on it.
I ahave been spending the last couple of days in my flower beds getting them ready for winter, I still have one more flower bed to do today and I'm finished except for two bunches that I'm going to dig out and throw away as they have become like a weed in the flower bed, so they have to go.
I just have to get the bags of stuff to the charities out of the house and a load to the and I'll be all set for winter.

I'm really liking some of these photos...I'm also a stranger in a strange land, as it were. You are all such a happy peppy crowd here.
Are you sure you are not on some mothers little helper pills...just yanking your chain.
Healthy living to me means no meds of any kind, not even an aspirin (well, unless I'm dying or something...we have become a doped up society). Tough it out. Eating most things in moderation, having a positive disposition on life, learning something new everyday (if you can), doing one good deed, just one, lets say per week and not taking all the fools around you too seriously.
That's a start. Keep those beautiful pics coming. Healthy living is also about appreciating the beauty all around us.
