Weezy: Hang tough! Darla: That is a nice thing to have done. My mom was rear ended by a teen driver, tried to work it out with the family but they didn't want to pay for the bumper to be replaced and dad was a jerk, so we went through insurance and I am sure they got hit with that accident AND the one they had paid cash on and not reported to insurance. Teen and mom were nice but dad was another story! Things are going better today but I had a nasty dream, one that you wake up and it is really hard to shake that it was a dream and not reality. I will try not to be mad at DF since it was just a dream..... I hate it when you get uncooperative parents. We had one kid that hit our vehicle, came up to the door and told us about it . . .we worked it out with the family so it didn't have to be reported. They were good about it. HOWEVER, the kid that hit our vehicle and ran off . . his parents weren't so nice. We wound up having to have it investigated as the car was parked in our driveway, it was winter and they followed the four wheeler tracks. The kid got a ticket, and the parents wanted to fight it through the insurance company . . . stupid on their part. They just wound up paying a whole lot more than they would have in the first place.

Got back from the doc's yesterday afternoon Had him look at a sore on my ear that wouldn't heal. He took one look at it and he was preety sure it was Basel Cell carsenoma It has been there for two months. He is going to give me some meds to heal the infection first then a biopsy then well see where that leeds us. If it one thing its another Life goes on I'm not sure what that is. Is it some form of skin cancer? Sorry to see that, I know what you mean by if it's not one thing it's another. We are dealing with a small health issue and shrinking wage.

Beags: So glad to see you! And yup people can suck. I had to deal with the idiot since my mom doesn't do conflict well and I do. My dad's a retired cop and I have the not going to take crap attitude he has.
After an auspicious start to my morning it got better. DS#2 decided when he woke up he didn't want to potty in his diaper, so he moved it to the side and peed all over the floor in his closet (where he chooses to sleep) I am very glad to have vinyl flooring in his room but man the child has quite the bladder! DS#2's staff was scheduled to come over this morning and take care of him and DD since I had my Physical Therapy appt.
Went there and everything I thought I shouldn't be doing was correct. So for 6 weeks I cannot do push ups, planks, elliptical, run, probably walk since I can't take the dog and anything else that hurts my shoulder. But I do have 6 strengthening exercises to do to build up the muscles around the one that is damaged. The gal said I had great posture in the exercises and was impressed. Apparently all the working out I have done over the years showed up there lol. I can tell my left arm is weaker in some of the exercises since I have been babying it for quite a while.
Then I went and got my hair cut (It's only been close to a year!) and a massage. Oh it felt wonderful! The gal knew I was going to go for a haircut so she knew I would be gone for awhile. I may have to do that more often where I have her watch both kids and take some time to myself. If my mom is watching the kids and I want to take some time for myself after doing an errand she gets nasty, but when I am paying someone that will be easier.

Good morning all.. Beags. Happy for you. It is sorta hard to be without our computer's, isn't it? I know it is for me. Just a few moments ago I was asked to find a local phone number.. If it were not for my computer I would have to resort to a telephone book. Way way too much work. ;D Hey there Mitten. You know, when we pay folks for service they don't seem to mind much, but they sure begin to mind if we stretch their dollars beyond its worth. A dollar sure don't go far these days. Seriously.. I'm glad you were able to get your me time in..

Me time is important .... . I never realised how important it was . . until I finally took the time to do it. By that time my oldest was in college and my youngest was gone all the time .. youngest is in high school.
I wish I had known back then what I know now about me time. I am much calmer than I use to be.
with that being said . .. . I'm still not considered calm by normal standards . . . just mine.

Hey all! Have a great week!
Weezy: Bummer about the hair. I hated it before I went in so this is fun. DS#1 hates it but since it was a pretty dramatic change that is not a big surprise.
Beags: Me time is important but so hard to get with young kids. I really try to remember that they will not be this young for long and cherish the times I have with them. I do miss vacations and weekends away with DF. It is hard not know if we will ever be able to do it again with DS#2. In our current waiver I do have him budged to go away for two weekends to a camp that takes special needs kids. I will have to go the their open house and really check it out before it happens but I have heard good things about the place from people who have used it. Maybe I will take one of those and farm the kids out to my sister!
Kids have this week off for spring break. DS#2 has daytreatment in the afternoons. I have his staff coming and working with him 3 mornings so I will be taking the other 2 and going off doing things. Tomorrow it is the zoo. The weather is supposed to be wonderful.
Seriously it is cute seeing the kids outside in their short sleeves, mittens and boots.
Bummer though it looks like the new Ipad is having issues and I am going to have to take it back. Since the warranty on the original was up in December I am hoping they will replace it. We only got this one in the middle of January. ARG!

Having a hard time. Took the 2nd Ipad in and they replaced it. Installed everything and even though I backed up the communication program for my autistic son that I have spent HOURS working on it is back to the factory settings on it. I am just in tears...

Installed everything and even though I backed up the communication program for my autistic son that I have spent HOURS working on it is back to the factory settings on it. I am just in tears... Now I get it. Hang tough. You'll get it figured/worked out. When DELL told me I had to reinstall my operating system again (4th or 5th time in less than 2 weeks), I simply said No. I'd done that already, and it didn't work. The computer was under warranty, and I was done messing with it. It was time for them to honor their warranty, and have someone come out and fix it for me. I wasn't nasty or screaming, but I was very firm. It worked. Good luck sweetie!

I agree and hope your computer is up and running soon weezy.
DF got the Ipad fixed back to the settings it was at on Monday. YIPPEE Hours I don't have to spend fixing that program! I really hope this one lasts. The guy at the apple store was very surprised to see a replacement in to be replaced.
Wonderful sunny warm weather here, very much enjoying it. The kids have been outside playing and I took DS#1, DD and my mom to the zoo!

Morning all!
Weezy: Hope you get your new meds soon!
Daphne: So glad DH's meds are working!
Kimber: Hasn't it been wonderful weather! I was very happy since my kids were on spring break and didnt' go back until today (end of quarter so they had an extra day off of break. Odd timing if you ask me!)
Had a blast with the kids on spring break. Went to 2 zoos, a shopping mall (Okay that wasn't the most fun as I am not a shopper but it had to be done) and the science museum. Had my niece over for the weekend and their family dog. Kids even got along pretty well!
And we had a St Patty's day party and had a blast. I can tell I am coming out of my winter funk!

It's been unbelievable. I spent the weekend down in the cities, but pretty much only got to see the inside of the coliseum at the fairgrounds.

Try not to be overly concerned Weezy. What kinds of preparations are you making for easter? Keep your plans ever so simple. Simplicity works best in most cases. In character, in manner, in style, in all things, the supreme excellence is simplicity. -Henry Wadsworth LongfellowGood morning Kimber.. We shall keep thinking Spring!

Morning all. I am coming out of my winter blues, so happy about that. I really wish I didn't get these winter funks so bad. It just sucks to have two different personalities. Sad part is my 8 YO son is showing signs of it also.
Weezy: I agree with heart, go simple. I hope you and the doc get everything figured out soon!
