My fingers are all not doing well so it hurts to type. Too many nails breaking beneath the quick with the dry weather. Had a really hard time Friday night, lost it a bit but recovered for a fun day on Sat.

Morning, all. Hope everyone is doing well. Middle of winter is a difficult time for many, myself included. The doctor started me on Zoloft (we'd been having an argument about it for several weeks. He won. ;D ). I actually seem to be feeling a bit more focused and not quite so tired all the time. We'll see how it goes. If we can just get to spring, we'll be golden!  |

We're in the 60s today, and sunny, roy. It will be a pretty day, but the trees still have no leaves, and there are no flowers. Nights are now in the 40s, but have been in the 30s. It's not so much the temperatures for me, I guess. It's more about looking out on green trees, flowers, and soft spring rains.

Roy:  Come visit me here in MN now, I dare ya! Actually for us this has been the most mild of winters. We will see what Feb/March have to bring! Morning all! Off to play at preschool with DD, then cleaning out my DMG's house, she was placed in a nursing home last fall. At least it is not the house she was a hoarder in, but still a lot from that house is in this one. Seriously her other place was WORSE then what I have seen on hoarders although she did not have the cockroaches. |

Hasn't it been an awesome winter so far Mitten? But you are right, Feb/Mar can still be nasty, heck I've seen snow in May. But at this point we know it won't last long.

kimber: Maybe it is me but with our weather I am always waiting for the other shoe to fall! Just pray for no snow on Feb 15th for me! We are driving 5 1/2 hours to Wisconsin Dells for a minivacation! Hey I am feeling much better with the sun out longer!

I just said that the other day "waiting for the othe shoe to fall" LOL. I have always wanted to go to the Dells. I've been through there but never stopped.
I agree about the sun being out longer helping. Kinda foggy and dreary this am, but that is supposed to change and we are supposed to get sunshine later.

they had forcasted we wre to have the worst winter ever
But it didn't come. We only hac a week of snow stork and it was gone We have had a lot of wind Which I don't like gives my headaches. They are opening a golf coarse near here this weekend Imagine golfing in Feb. Never heard of that before They were doing pothole repaires in the city yesterday and streetcleaning already Spring has sprung early
I just wish I would feel better it would make it be better.

daphne: Congrats on shedding some baggage! I know with divorce one goes through the same grieving process as death. So you may feel happy and unburdened and then 10 minutes later sad and depressed. How old is DD? You are strong and will flourish and now can make better choices in your life! sparkle: Thanks! kimber: Foggy here also but at least yesterday was sunny. weezy: Ya doing okay? Sounds like you may be down. heart: I think the migraines have decreased. Have a bit of a headache now but that is due to hormones. Still need to get the magnesium. daphne: Sorry to hear of that. It is so sad when a parent pulls nasty BS on their kid. I think as parents we can take a lot but not someone hurting or using our kids in any way!
Morning all! Was a late night last night and looks like DS#2 is ill so I am going to keep him home from school. We will see if I can send him to Day Treatment.

Morning all. Have been dealing with a migraine for the last 3 days. Since tomorrow is Sat I am hoping a good nights sleep (DF can get up with the kids) will help kick it. Went to sleep at 9:30 last night, which I don't get so bed before 11 on most nights. Would have gone earlier but had to help get kids to bed.
Looks like we are having a few people over for the superbowl. One we haven't seen in about a year so that should be super fun! Problem is I would like to invite my dad and his wife but NOT my sister. This would be due to drama between DSIS and dad's wife.

Morning all . . . no tax money is not back yet . . .but daughter's laptop is for today only. lol
daphne . . . sorry to hear of the divorce and possible troubles with DD. The good part is that she is old enough to choose a college away from everyone, live in the dorms and let her figure out for herself what she wants to do. If her father has that much power over her to keep her away from those she loves, then it's better that she goes to a college away from it all and live in the dorms. It will help her get away and figure out what she wants to do in life.
That's just my opinion, I could be wrong. I don't know if there are any circumstances that would keep her from doing that. I don't know the situation all that well.

I'm a bit of a mess right now . . but hopefully it will get figured out soon.
I went to the doc the other day because I got dizzy just standing at work. They did some blood tests, my electrolites are fine. My thyroid is fine. Then they had to wait for the iron .. . . NOT fine. Normal is 50 to 150 . . . mine was 22. lol They aren't giving me anything to bring up the iron count because they ordered more tests for the end of the month. (they want to scope me . . . . ick) I don't get how bringing up my iron will hurt those tests.
So other than being constantly light headed and tired, I am doing fine.
At least I won't rust . .. you need iron to rust, right?

Beags.. Maybe the thought on holding off raising your iron level is to check whatever else may or may not be going on that may be dropping your levels.. Raising your iron may mask a deeper problem that can be addressed before making you all brand new again! Hope all checks out well for you. Keep us posted.  Have a blessed Sunday..
