haha, I don't really have a rooting interest in the first game except that I'm a little afraid of the 49ers. we can mop the field with the Falcons.....or so I thought before this first half here. yikes.
the raspberries were for the Ravens. we are totally sending Ray Lewis into retirement tonight.

ugh.....congrats to the Ravens tonight. I'll be turning my attention to the Bruins now, thankfully the NHL pulled their heads out of their asses in some good timing.

My coworker did not win the Ravens season ticket holder lottery. I told him it was a first world problem. Haven't heard from anyone else to see if they got tickets.

I will be rooting for David Akers and the Niners. I would like to root for Bernard Pierce (Temple guy), but I seem to be the only person who remembers Ray Lewis got away with murder, so I can't give up my Ravens hater card just yet.

no, you're not alone in remembering that. I do too, and so does Wes Welker's wife - link

As evidenced by the coach himself last night, leave it to the Pats to keep it classy in defeat.
As for Ray, just like many other celebrities, the REAL truth is seldom ever known.

LOL. No one gives a flying fig what Wes Welker's wife thinks. That's too bad that her husband was so afraid of getting hit that he dropped the ball. :PPlayers, coaches, fans and now players' wives = sore losers.
Absolutely no class.
Btw, what a come back by the 49ers!!! Matt Ryan folded under pressure.

Apparently the Patriots rely on their wives when they can't get it done on the field.
If I were putting something up for the world to see, I wouldn't be referencing wikipedia as my source. The guy isn't married.

Nope, you're not the only one. It's why I'll be cheering for the other team.

I find it funny that "Miss Hooters" thinks she is qualified to recommend good role models. Sometimes people find themselves in scary situations. I do believe that the whole truth about the incident will never be known, but judging him on his actions and attitudes since then I choose to believe that he did not hurt anyone. I do believe that it made him realize that it was time for him to make a major lifestyle change. Sad that sometimes those who are able to learn and raise themselves up are always seen as the "lowlife" they may have once been.

...okay... with having Lewis as the last original Raven playing tomorrow before retirement... and a first Raven going into the HOF, Ogden class of 2013... I may have to tip toward pulling for them now... and it has nothing to do with keeping the Niners from their sixth ring... not at all... ...Happy Harbaugh Day, everyone...
