I only watch a little of the Dolphins game. Gawd, what a mess.  They looked good..................for about the first 10 minutes. There's still a lot of work to be done there, but we'll see. I think they can have a half-way decent season. |

I'm an "anyone but Cowboys" fans, so it was particularly sweet to see the Jets beat them Sunday evening. TD and I caught the last quarter of the game - which was probably the best part of it.

Before the Bronco/Raider game last night, the local news said fans in the stand could text "RESPECT" to a certain number if "a fan(s) were getting out of hand". If I remember, I am going to see if they offer that during future Bronco games. If not, I am going to raise holy hell as an offended Raiders fan.  And, yes, the game wasn't pretty, but the announcer really did have a good point: The guys are there to do a JOB, not to take one on one shots at each other. How juvenile. Let me know and I will raise holy hell with you.  LIke I said I will take ugly win any day of the week. No one remembers how it was played only that big ole W is all that matters. |

Oh yeah I caught the audience shots. Going to a Raiders game in Oakland is on my bucket list. And i will be painted black and silver - that way they can't tell how old I am  I only get to see them in person if and when they play the Saints in NO  |

It was a quote from an unhappy Chicago receiver a couple of years ago, before he left for somewhere else. I don't remember who said it but at the time it struck both DH and me as apt because Chicago kept bringing in these well known receivers and then they'd have average or sub-average years while there. Or at least that's how it seemed to us 2 Packer fans... |

After being bears fans our whole lives dh has decided to go to the dark side and root for green bay. It's tough being a bears fan, so many bad decisions by management. Hester as their main WR? Roy williams? yikes.
We've pretty much settled on just being fantasy fans in that we just root for the players on our fantasy teams. But I know we secretly still root for the bears.
Anyone else play fantasy football?

I live in metro Chicago (north side) which automatically tends to make me a Bears (Cubs) fan. After last weeks game against the Falcons I was asking myself if the Bears were that good/underrated this year or if the Falcons were that bad. Decided Sun that the Falcons are just THAT BAD. We seem to be having the SAME issues w/the offensive line that have been there for years.
