I can't be the only one?
I can see how some or most people are just too busy tied down with work in the office environment. That they can not be on the phone for half hour or an hour or an hour and a half just talking about personal stuff with your friends. which that was me for years. work would be so slow and of course easy and of course repetitive...oh GEEZ work is always just repetitive the same thing day in and day out. But I'm not talking to myself on these phone calls so I thought sex talk happens often with other people. I can not remember a time I've gotten a bad employee review. I get my job done - correctly - completed the first time - and well before any deadlines are even a concern.

OH Thanks! I would love to tell / talk about work history.
once I decided to work in the office environment - I thought it was better to get hired at a major company through a temp agency. during those days early 20's, my female counterpart, friends and acquaintances were getting hired at the companies they temped at. Hell current GF contract was bought out early at a place she temped at once. I was so jealous
but here I am temping at these big businesses and not getting hired? Currently to this day I'm still confused over a temp job I had. I was hired to do a job / fill an open position, the manager brings me to my desk and leaves? I don't remember if she introduced me to her team, she definitely didn't give me work to do. I remember I was surfing the net for a little while but back then that only filled minutes of the day. Then I would keep busy with my money book journal and then I caught up to day with that. so after the first week I had enough and started introducing myself to the team looking for work. which they didn't share. maybe there wasn't enough work to go around? maybe they didn't want me to show them up? then I started asking other departments if they had work for me to do. AND BINGO! Accounting had work and lots of it. so I was being paid out of one department budget but working for another. makes no since to me.

I think I was temping looking to be hired permanently for 10 to 12 years of my office environment working history. I can easily say that is a big reason I can mix things up and adapt so well because that's what I had to do at work.

I was a member ...well I'm a member of a Honda public forum. I say was because I don't go there often if at all. the value for me there is null! BUT when I was a new member I could not post pic's until a certain amount of posts were made. while I continued to get to that number I was chatting in a thread subject 98 Accord body kit pictures.
of course the group wanted me to post pictures and I had only posted specs - as I'd seen in eariler posts in this long running thread
I still said nah to pics because they don't do my car any justice and even in person seeing me car some people still have to think about the art work and how it flows together.
But eventually I gave in and BOOM!
dam how stupid your car looks! why would you put a body kit on the car! that's the ugliest kit I've ever seen! you should rip off that dumbass kit and it would look so much better! and so on and so on and so fourth with the insults.
Then later another new member posts pictures and it's oh your car looks so good and hot kit and good job!
I looked for other posts of people getting ripped like I did and there was not much evidence!
but I caught one of those fuckers at a car show I entered. I recognized the car! then I saw the owner and it was some kid! I asked him yo what the fuck was all that shit you were talk'n! oh nothin' most of the guys are assholes. then he gave a couple of screen names to look out for. They live in Cali. and he was right about them because I read most of there comments and they were bashing members most of the time.

Funny I was thinking I can probably use my new smarter phone to log into here! pretty amazing. I would say something like:
"I bet I can use my new cell phone to log in here! How awesome would that be!"

yea perfect - one liner - no room for confusion or my intentions.
ANY other member posts the same one line and they would get

oh great then we can talk more often or great you're getting used to your new cell or yea I post from my phone as well it's pretty easy. and ya ya - happy for you and great to be here hand holding and pats on the back congrats!

Subject ahead of my time

Just thinking about it again. on the Honda board I mentioned I named my car and my computer and my cell phone. and I get:
why would I name my cell phone how strange! how dumb is that! naming your cell phone is the dumbest thing I've heard of! and laughter fills the board.

My new cell phone upgrade requires to name the phone during the set up process.

looks like I'm the preferred choice to drive employees.....well x-employees home.
another employee has been let go OR this time quit and I was recommended to drive the person home and bring back company car.
the other Male Admin was also brought up BUT it was me that was asked.
Hmmm....wonder why - LOL

I drove the kid home - kid because this is / was his 4th job ever and he's age 23!
he was hired on referral so he even knew he wasn't going to be fired.
he was given a Sales position right out of college, so it's at LEAST 50k, company car, gas card, and cell phone
he went missing for the past THREE WEEKS - no call, no show up at work.
and yes got paid- also he said for the entire year he never NOT once put in a time sheet
though he said he took maybe 2 or 3 days vacation it was never recorded- so he will be paid full vacation time
he doesn't have another job to go to he just feels that he doesn't want to work at the company anymore.

the problem?
no one showed him what to do? his boss brought him in thinking he would be a great fit for the Sales team.
but didn't assign anyone to mentor him, show him around, and no one for him to shadow.
a straight Seinfeld Kramer or Costanza situation! LOL but the difference is those two would NOT have quit
and would have continued to collect a check.

how does someone wake up fully and completely sick!
GF was just fine - NOTHING wrong! not a hint of being sick Thursday.
Fuck'n Friday morning she is 100% FULL blown SICK!!
I mean her throat swelled, cough, trouble breathing, runny nose, snoring 5 times louder, along with aces and body pain!!

I know what happened - your body has a quota to be sick at least 40 weeks out of the year and with such little time left
you got sick instantly, what normally takes you about 2 or 3 days to get to this level of sickness, you got sick overnight!

the holiday get together was actually good.
I was background supporter as two other guys from the office was the main two that people said "good job" and "nice going".
I was joking that it took 3 guys to to the job of two women (the girls did the get together last year). then one of the girls asked whose idea was it to bring in the movie?

so now I got my pat on the back. BONUS! I sent an email out using the timer saying Happy Holidays at 12:30PM - which everyone was in the conference room with me there. it was like a scene from a movie when all the police in the room get that emergency call and have to go! well when my email went out most looked at there Blackberry to read the email - then heads tured to me and one asked how did I do that? I answered Holiday Magic!!
