it obviously makes me ....unique

funny how I can pull up the old threads and I'm called weird, and what odd behavior, how strange for someone to do that!
but when other members pull up the same thread how are you spending your Saturday
it not a problem, no one notices or cares!

when I mention co-workers and their work habits I'm looked as being miserable with every aspect of my life
but their are several members that complain about their coworkers and not a problem and it's one big happy support team

yes I've say I do enjoy reading threads in the archives but I mostly use BOOKMARK
also there are areas of the board that are NOT popular and still on the first page
so I can see someone posted and I would reply or comment

Zaire have you looked at in total what those people post about? I know Nancy complains about one of her co-workers but the majority of her posts are not complaints. I know you post some non-complaining stuff in the Earth Muffin thread but I think that's a minority of what you post.

I don't know if you've ever heard this ratio where one needs to say 5 good things for every bad thing in order for people to keep wanting to listen to you and not see you as a downer or a negative person.

WHEW!!! close call today
even though I figured out why I had nothing to do with the big meeting last week - guess it's still on my mind!
one of our Directors came by my desk 3..4 .....well I think on the 3rd time he stopped at my desk and said can I talk to you for a minute?
MY heart dropped - my first thought was ok here is the reason I had nothing to do with the meeting.....

we walk into the conference room nearest my desk and I left the door open in hopes to calm my fears. he turns around and said close the door.
DAMIT!
Then he said I'm letting go our our Regional Admin today and I want you to escort her out!
WHEW! Thank goodness cause stinky was not doing a good job - well compared to the previous 2 admins.
so now I can stop holding my breath I was wondering why the escort?
so I said - oh I didn't know she is an employee? he said she is a temp!
so I just ...confused a little because he should have just told the temp agency last Friday it ain't work'n out
Plus why the escort for a Temp? I've been asked before to escort employees out and I was asked to drive an employee home and bring back the company car - so it's not confusing why I was asked - just she's a Temp

Well anywayz - That department / group has been more....attentive to me after turning down GF for the job. it's a shitty position and easy as all hell but if you're out of work it pays pretty good to hold over til something comes up. I may have another recommendation for the position that's a Temp at the company already - I'll ask her if she is interested. cause I get bonus for hire my recommendation.

Unbelievable. You STILL can't read. No one is saying you are subject to special rules where you HAVE TO make a meaningful contribution with EVERY post. It is instead almost the statistical impossibility that in now over 5400 posts you apparently HAVEN'T been able to make a single meaningful, informative, or humorous post, EVER. Even by accident. (At least not that anyone has noticed.)

Honestly, I should congratulate you. You've apparently managed to accomplish something that I didn't think was humanly possible. Kudos to you, sir.

BTW, if you understood what I wrote it means that to be perceived as neutral not positive if you had 6000 posts total only 1000 could be considered negative for people to see you in a neutral light. Therefore if you currently have more than 1000 negative posts now that's why people see you the way they do. The ratio is 5:1 not 1:1.

I can not imagine being out of work for I think he said 3 or 4 months...
to get an interview and then get hired to work at a great company.
See my Manager for my responsibilities for the day to only to be told on the very first day
I have NO work for you to do. Go sit in the conference room.
and there I sit all day! no one talks to the new guy!
no one knows who you are!
NOW SIX MONTHS later no work! we hired a field Technician to just show up in the office. He has not done any actual work he was hired to do. He doesn't try to ask other Managers if he could help out! he just shows up to the office and does nothing all day for the past 6 months!

I was like dam - we're kindred spirits cause this may be me in a few months
well I would be taking more than clothes

but this is the new me now - I already offered my JCP card for $100
old me would have just given her my JCP card to charge up
but I trust her not to go overboard and I'm sure she wouldn't

geez! what if she wants to see me?
What if she asks to help move / sneak her stuff out?
what if she wants to talk more often being home alone?
and without furniture / TV / radio
what is my responsibility to provide entertainment?

just calm down for now - wait to see if she moves out
if she actually wants something
it does look like she already has other(s) to rely on.

WHY and I nervous about that?
reviews are a joke around here!
but I always get nervous when he wants to do the yearly employee review
and the turn out is always the same because it's a copy and paste process from the previous year!

just figured out how to send email from my phone - but now the auto signature is that show off signature
"sent from my Windows Mobil phone"
that's what mine reads - when I first started seeing this on other emails received like "sent from my I-Phone" or "sent from my BlackBerry"
I thought they were just showing off! - LOL
but NOW! I see it's an automatic feature and I have NO idea how to shut it off or change it?

I only have a couple of things I need to know Z. Is the other girl (the one you were trying to get a job for at your place of work) finally gone now or is she still living with you and using you?

Is this other one that wants you back someone you were with before and broke up with you? If she's called off the wedding with her current fiance, then what makes you think she won't you again too?

I think it's time for you to get rid of and end all past and present relationships and start fresh. Find yourself a nice woman who'll like you for you and not how much you'll give them or pay for. You're never going to be truly happy as long as you let people take advantage of you.

ETA: And if you still have a woman living with you and you're thinking about hooking up with this one that's contacted you again, don't you think you should be honest with her about your current relationship first? It's not fair to either of them if you're looking to hook up with one while still involved with another. Maybe that's why you haven't been able to find a lasting and honest relationship. You're not doing yourself OR them any good playing this game.

maybe I'm NOT as FAT as I thought / think I am?
I have on a dress shirt and tie combo today
I noticed that the dry cleaners (must have used a permanent marker) -
labeled my shirt with my last name and the address number at my parents house
so this means - well for one I've had this shirt for around 20 years and I guess I should give it to charity
and upgrade to a new shirt.....and two
it still fits......

I can button the top button ....but during the day I'm sure it will feel like I choking - LOL
I'm guessing the collar is 17?

before her fiance....maybe I would see her twice in a year

so yesterday I noticed mail for a Sales manager and it was after 3PM
when I picked it up it felt like it contained a credit card in it
I placed it on his desk under his keyboard with the top edge of the envelop showing just above his keyboard
then left him a voicemail message I placed this envelop from car services under his keyboard

so this morning when he came into work - he connected the wires to his laptop - got a cup of coffee
and stopped by my desk on the way back to his desk and told me he got the message!
OK FINE - NOW
he comes right back and said the envelop is not there?
I immediately knew he was wrong! I immediately knew he didn't 1 look or 2 already moved the envelop!!

However I stayed in character and said it's not there? you sure?
he said no it's not there
I didn't go help look - cause I know it's there
so I said well you'll have to call car services and tell them the card was stolen and cancel it and send you a new one
then he said - oh well maybe someone took it off my desk? I can't imagine why someone would, but maybe it will be returned?

I said well since it's not there and it was well after 3PM when I dropped it off - the only reason would be someone took it
no need to wait around to report it stolen
he said he'll wait to see if it's returned because he can not see why someone would take it
and I agreed
then of course 3 or 8 seconds later he comes back and said he found it!
I asked where - thinking he moved it when he first got to his desk this morning

he said .........hope you're sitting down for this - LOL

he said he found it under his keyboard! he was expecting a bigger envelop!
