El thank you that is so sweet! It's better to be constructive than to wonder why they and my ex put my DS1 and DS2 through both college AND grad school with all the bells and whistles and can't do the same for just college for DD who WANTS to live at home. I love my DS1 and DS2 to bits so obviously I am happy for them.
But I just don't get how you can do it for two but not (much more cheaply because of no room and board) for the third.
On the other hand, my ex MIL told me they are older now and for the first time, "worrying about their money running out".
It's not easy every day. But this is the least I can do for her. Send her off into the world with a solid education from a good school, a job (because that school's job placement is above 90%) and a place to stay and / or come home to. The rest will be up to her.

DH - She may realise the differences in the way she is treated by her grandparents but she will also realise what you and your DH are doing for her and as she grows up she is appriciate that all the more.
Most important she is in a good school which will help set DD up for life. Will this college provide additional support to her for her special learning needs?

El No, they won't. No such animal in this country! In a worst-case scenario she may need some private tutoring in one subject (I sure hope not though). But being bilingual will be a GREAT help to her, because her English grades will bring up her overall average.
I hope you LOVE your new job and that it leads to that promotion! When do you start?!

I just realized it's March and I will be DONE in just a few days! Theoretically on 5 March at midnight, but given that it's the night of Sat to Sun, I'm not sure when the car payment will actually post. My new Close to Home job yesterday went well. As I said before it's quite badly paid but I was able to come home for lunch! I HATE being in a windowless room though.

Hi Just got a few mins so doing an update. CC1 --- 76.61 - CC2 --- 543.80 C UNION PLC ---2678.88--- Was pd off plus extra in account. Was a good month. CIBC PLC --- 10,542.57 Total ---- $13,841.86 --- up from $10,825.35 So went up 3000.00 because we used our Credit Union PLC for RRSP this year. It was the best move for us after a long discussion with the bank. So If I rework the budjet it should be gone by the end of April. Both credit cards should be gone by the end of March. So hopefully that is how it goes. If the good Lord is willing. I just wondering if it would be in my best interest to totally pay off both credit cards with the plc and then that would be gone and then just concentrate on the plc for March and April? Because by May 15 we should have our income tax back. Any suggestions anyone?

Yay El! Under 2500!!!
Alice, I would pay off the CCs. It will make you happy to have two new zeros. Plus you would have no CC debt left, only the two PLCs, one of which should be gone within a few months. JMO!

I deleted the smileys. I'm not sure what the heck is going on with them. I'll try again next week when I update. Sorry everyone!
PS - DH I didn't miss your update, the smiley thing just wasn't pasting right. You're in the spreadsheet!

Yogini Thanks for the update! Alice I agree with debtheaven - you should pay down the CC - as long as your PLC has a lower interest rate! Plus it will feel soooo good once your CC debt is erased!

Hi everyone I have tried to update the 50-100k list as best I can. I am not as good as bankergirl but welcome to sunshinegal1981.Since we aren’t yet getting regular updates of smileys/sheets if your total isn’t correct please post a single update line like you normally would on the thread and I will fix everyone. I did as best I could with just searching for people. notmsnmoney.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=wir&thread=2616&page=1

Minnesota THANK YOU!!! Karma to you for having given me the joy of seeing that update! I can't wait! Especially since I'm bummed that the reno loan isn't lower than it is. Alas we were more in the red on our rental account than I had realized. Plus we have kept money aside for this summer, so I know I have absolutely no right to complain. We are still waiting to hear from our RE lawyer about whether the studio purchase will go through. I am hoping / praying it does!

Thank you Minnesota! And thank you again for everything you do here! I had hoped the reno loan would be lower, or even gone. But I'm still feeling pretty good about where we are today.
