I registered for this one and for bundle just to be covered. I don't want to "end" my race until my race is ended! Thanks for starting the thread PaynoInterest!

I don't think we have the opportunity for bolding but that isn't that big of a deal!

We do Speechchick! What you have to do is click the "reply" button to write your message. When the "GUI" (or icons for "Bold, Italics etc" shows up (just like you see in Word), click the "B" icon in the "Add Tag's line".
Then insert your words between the two "bs" that show up on the page.

I've figured out how to make tables in here but it requires using HTML code which I think will be too much for us to think about. I'm hoping Coffeegirl can find something that will let us copy and paste directly from EXCEL like the MSN boards would.

Wow, I thought I was signing up to get into the top secret Pentagon computers!!! Glad that we are being pro-active and finding a place to go if MSN shuts down. I don't know what I would do with out the WIRR board before I have won my race which will be a few years from now! And then to help me save. Thanks Paynointerest for finding this place for us.

MuffyintheRed - it wasn't me who created this place. It was actually a poster from one of the other boards - Your Money (YM), I believe. It was "Moonbeam". I'm just setting a temporary space for the South to go until we hear from Coffeegirl.

With that said, I did figure out how to create tables and created an excel sheet that allows you to enter your numbers in the appropriate spaces, then you copy and paste it into this message space and the numbers show up in a nice little table.

It will require a small learning curve to use it though. I thought I let you know the option is out there.

Another cool feature is we can send each other personal messages through this system without it being public to the rest of the members. All you have to do is click the "envelope" icon to the left under the user name. I've sent everyone who has posted this far a message to test how it works.

Ok, some things I've learned!

1. the "email" option is only if you are logged in. Don't forget to do it, there is a link at the top of the page

2. You can create a table to post your updates. Sort of time consuming but doable.

3. [glow=red,2,300]You can make your letters GLOW (although as I type this I don't know what it will look like)[/glow] [shadow=red,left,300]You can also do a shadow.[/shadow] Which might be fun for doing updates or something!

4. You can do a google search for just the boards! If you are looking for a past update, it should be easier to find. (its at the bottom of the page)

Its going to be a learning curve but look how much fun we'll have teaching one another what we've discovered!

You can post and then edit your posting. There is an icon on the upper right side that allows you to do it.

It says MODIFY instead of EDIT on the old boards. Forward, post any updates on the "old" board until it ends. The captains have asked us to do that so they can continue updated the numbers. It I had something to post though I would probably do it on both boards!

I am so excited to have Christmas Eve off!!!!!!!!!!

Well - this is pretty neat but I don't know if the captains want us to use this. I used the attachment and downloaded my last update. It shows a link and then you can open it and see the excel spreadsheet I use......

Hola Chica's! Wow! I check in at the WIRR board and find that we have to move to a new home. Not real happy with MSN right now. Many thanks to CoffeeGirl, Pay-No-Interest and everyone else for finding this board for our temporary home. If there is anything that I can do to assist, please let me know!

Ladies! I'm glad you are embracing the functions of this board.

Keep putting your spreadsheet updates on the old MSN Money boards. We are keeping track of them daily and will have the data.

This is just a spot for us to converse and have access to each other until Coffeegirl lets us know where our new home will be. I don't know any more than that.
